Man, you have a tough choice there. Both the Bates and Irish Setter are rock solid, but the dilemma is the lack of the safety toe. As someone who works in a large facility, I am on my feet on the concrete floor all day every day and am required to have safety toes. All that said, I have found the Timberland Pro series to be very durable over time. I usually get nearly two years out of these Timberland PRO Men's 50506 Titan 6" Lace to Toe Safety Toe Boot,Haystack Brown,10.5 M https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XEEGRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_52BIxbWZM30A6.
They probably would last longer, but I tend to pronate and wear the heels unevenly.

I wear these boots all year. Australian made, easy to get in and out off but solid and safe to wear. I bought them in the winter time and i can still wear them in the hot summer days we have now. absolutly recommendable.

They're Redbacks, Australian made boots. I used to wear Blundstones but the soles on my last pair disintegrated and I learnt they weren't being made in Australia any more so I thought I'd give these a try. This is my second pair, they're great for 'rough' walking.

Red Back Bonsall/UBOK

I'm on my 2nd pair, worn to school every day for at least 2 years per pair, easy to slip on and off, look good, comfortable(width is good too) and very durable. They are unlined so they don't really smell either, ever

They are a lot cheaper from Amazon than the manufacturers link above. Amazon GB

I actually ended up buying a cheap pair on Amazon they were only like 90 bucks

They are working fine so far and at that price I could buy 4 pairs and still spend less than whites

Redback UBOK - have had these 13+ years, they’re the best.
