Please tell me you are not smoking in your god damn dorm?

If you are; go the fuck outside, you are in fucking college. Toking in your dorm isn't cool or edgy. It is more disrespectful than anything, not everyone wants to smell it. Be the considerate toker.

If you are not; quit being a dirty ass toker smelling like weed everywhere you go. Again, be considerate and not a stereotype.

If it is simply because of the weed you have on you; get a tightvac from Amazon. Zero smell. I have that 6oz one. Holds my grinder, pipe, 1/8th and two lighters easy.

I bought a second one recently for edibles. No smell at all from either tightvac.

They have bigger and smaller ones for whatever your needs are.

Be smart! These flowers are not worth fucking up your life.

I use an Airscape container. Pushes the air out, keeps coffee away from light, and it doesn't take up much space in the kitchen. Granted, I buy a bag as freshly roasted as possible and I usually finish it within 1-2 weeks.

u/swroasting · 12 pointsr/Coffee

Planetary Design Airscape cannisters are nice. 2 sizes, nice colors, dual lid design with inner air displacement lid and upper one-way valve lid.

u/Jake_68 · 11 pointsr/Coffee

Use this. It'll keep your coffee fresh for far longer and it really is airtight.

X-post from r/trees. This was in the comments there but I'll post it here too: Here's a link to a Dropbox with the schematic. It was made in Autodesk Inventor and I'm not sure if any other 3D CAD program can run it. The overall diameter of the part is slightly bigger than the tube it went in (link to Amazon), so it required some sanding and rolling on a hot skillet to mold it perfectly. Also, it took a while to cut off the base that the printer puts down before it actually prints the part. It took 2 hours to print and about 4 hours of refining afterwards to get it perfect.

I take home made soups and chili with me in a Thermos. I always pre-heat the Thermos with hot water and heat the food up a little hotter than normal and it works great.

Reusable ice packs and an insulated lunch bag let me take things like salads, prepared tuna, cottage cheese and chicken. These are things I would prep and refrigerate the night before so everything was already cold and ready to go.

It helps to always have a set of plastic cutlery, plenty of napkins and wet wipes in the car.

u/recchiap · 7 pointsr/Coffee

I use an Airscape. Probably the best solution if you only have one type of bean at a time. It uses a one way valve you can open and close to keep them fresh for much longer than usual.

Seattle coffee gear has a video comparing that storage to using the bag.

US coffee roasting competition finalist here. no need to let degas that long. You will great great sweetness, and tactiles an hour after roasting. If you brew immediately, you will get a great cup, but flavors will not open up yet.
Full flavor for filter happens around day 3 or 4. (im my opinion)
PM me if you have any specific questions.

For best results, store coffee in one of these:[Airscape canisters]

If you like a wider shape, I have taken to using pyrex dishes over mugs for "mug" cakes and breads. Instead of getting a narrow tube, you'll get a lower, flatter product. Better for things like this.

u/Ms_Gaea · 5 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

Oh, MAN, I love coffee questions!

My standard gift is an airscape for keeping beans fresh. This is really important to the overall quality of brewed coffee, regardless of method.

Does he have a good grinder? Depending on your budget getting a good burr grinder is essential for top notch home coffee. Check out /r/Coffee too :)

u/CommuneNefas · 5 pointsr/Coffee

I store my beans in an Airscape and really like it. Keeps the beans fresh, protected from air, temperature, light, and moisture, looks good, and I think it's reasonably priced. I would assume that it does a similar job of storing ground coffee, but I just don't really see the point.

Once you grind the coffee, it begins to go stale much quicker than it does in whole bean form. I totally understand your desire to not wake up your girlfriend by grinding each morning, but grinding the night before is going to drastically reduce the quality of your morning brews, regardless of what you store it in. I would suggest a hand grinder like the skerton or LIDO for grinding fresh each morning without making noise. Actually, the skerton comes out to roughly the same price as the container, so if you already have some way of storing beans (really anything works as long as you're putting it in something airtight and in a dark place), I think buying a hand grinder is the better solution.

Like /u/BitWallah said, the answer is Zojirushi.
What you've linked is the re-branded version of a Zojurishi product. There are actually several different models available. I have this one (right now, Amazon says its $339.79. That's not normal as it's discontinued (I paid $44) and a new model is out for about $45. Anyhow... These kits are awesome but from your description, I don't think this is what you are looking for. Besides, only the bottom container is watertight. The others are not. I can give you a more detailed explanation about it if you want. If you want something for soup or wet foods...

Get this: Zojirushi SW-FBE75XA Stainless Steel Lunch Jar, 25-Ounce, Stainless. I have one of these, also. This thing kicks ass. It's basically a large-mouth "thermos". Way easier to clean than the above. 25oz of soup (or corned beef and cabbage if you took advantage of the post-holiday sales) is PLENTY of food for lunch for me.

For your situation, I've done exactly that: made soup the night before and had it for lunch the next morning... It worked exactly as planned, still hot at lunchtime.

At my old office my typical daily regimen for this thing was to fill it with hot water from the coffee machine's hot water tap 1st hing in the morning. I'd use this to make tea at my desk for the rest of the day. This saved me from having to run back to the break room for more hot water. If I didn't make tea that day, I'd just refill it with hot water the next morning. The water would still be warm 24hrs later. 8-10 hrs after filling, it'd still be hot enough to easily burn your mouth on if you drank it straight from the jar.

If you need, I can post pics of either/both containers. Hope this helps.

u/pshankstar · 4 pointsr/roasting

Where do you buy your green beans from? I know Sweet Maria’s has bags with the one way valve in half and full pound size bags. They also offer a container with the valve too. This is assuming you need the beans to still off gas.

If you’re looking for a container after the beans have off gassed, I like the Airscape (link below). Good luck!

This works really well.

u/whatremix · 3 pointsr/Coffee

I roast at home and this has been working pretty well for me so far: freshly roasted beans get put into a mason jar with the lid screwed on loosely to off-gas. After 24ish hours, I move them into my Airscape to store before grinding. The airscape is great because it's a snap to clean, and doesn't retain any coffee flavors or smells after a quick wipe.

these ones are fairly basic 1 gallon jars. should fit what youre looking for! i would recommend stopping by a craft store tho if you want something more fun. usually they have a fun variety

I use two canisters like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Oggi-72-Ounce-Acrylic-Canister-Locking/dp/B00CSG0OP0

I don’t think it’s this one exactly, but similar. Lock on front and a plastic airtight seal. Think I got them at like Christmas Tree Shop or IKEA or some cheap bulk store like that. Going 6 years strong

I have a tall one for flour and a shorter one for sugar and they look nice on my counter

u/zarakand · 3 pointsr/fitmeals

They're a mix of Pyrex and Anchor 2 cup glass containers. I prefer the Pyrex ones as the lids are a lot sturdier, but they're very handy if you want to get away from plastic tupperware. Here's the amazon link, Target sometimes has the them too. We've just been asking for them as Christmas gifts each year and now have a huge stash for meal preps.

I'm assuming you're taking about bean storage, not brewed coffee. In which case, look into the Tightpac vacuum sealed containers, they appear to be available in various sizes and might be just what you're looking for.

u/shadowshea · 3 pointsr/saplings

I have something similar to this. Just a small, vacuum sealed container. Holds like, a quarter and is small and compact and zero smell. I can have it packed full of green, but no smell comes from it at all. I've had friends sniff it and were shocked to see weed in it.

After a year of Starbucks on my walk to work (and adding it up and shaking my head), I reached out to a high school friend and mega coffee nerd, and ultimately went with his recommendation for "best entry level" brew at home set up. It's been great. A little spendy to get into it, but it paid for itself quickly, and I've loved experimenting with different roasts of whole beans and doing the grinding myself.

Grinding:

Baratza Encore Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

Brewing:

I have a Thermos brand vacuum sealed soup container that always stays hot from when I pack it in the morning to lunch time, so at least 4 hours. I always pour a little boiling water in there and let it warm up for a few minutes before filling it up for the day.

I don't know if it will be big enough for you, but I'm a huge fan of SnapWare products. Made in USA, BPA Free, Air and Water Tight. We found them after my wife was tired of water leaking into Tupperware containers in the cooler while camping. It sounds like you'd need a few, but they have quite a few sizes and they stand by their guarantee. I've had them send me a few lids that a hinge has busted off (from regular heavy food related use not humidor use). Nice product

Maybe check where you get your bulk food? My local Bulk Barn sells their empty bulk food tubs/buckets for 1$ or something. Not very pretty but functional. This blog has some ideas on using tubs/buckets for food.

I was recently converting a bunch of my bulkier dry goods from bags to containers and jars. Got some regular plastic containers at a dollar store, some of those storage containers with the pour spout, and plan on picking up some large glass jars. I think the investment for those will be worth it. But shopping around on Amazon I found some good large containers I want to get. Like this or this one.

u/MyLifeIsPointless · 2 pointsr/Coffee

I'm using the Airscape Container.

u/Ironshovel · 2 pointsr/whatisthisthing

>I want one too! Found them on Amazon

Thanks! Amazon... Should have known...they have everything!

u/HumanPlus · 2 pointsr/exmormon

I second the call for an aero press. Grab one, a coffee grinder, and a storage container (mason jars work fine too) for your locker or safe location.

After the initial investment (less than two weeks of your 5$ a day), this plus hot water gets you coffee at pennies a cup. The container keeps your beans fresh, and you only grind what you need every time.

I started messing around with weed around the same age, so I'm not gonna just say "you're too young" or any of that shit. You'll still do it anyways, and I'd rather you were smart about it.

First, I would highly suggest finding someone who has experience with weed to be with you when you do weed. I'll give you all the advice I know, but it's still better to have an experienced person on hand. Maybe the person that made the cookies?

Second, be careful with edibles, and very careful with edibles when you don't know the concentration. It's really easy to take too much, more so when you've just started. I'd personally suggest you smoke instead of doing edibles, as you can feel the effects much faster, and better gauge how much to use. That being said, smoking isn't the most pleasant thing when you start, and you either need some sort of piece, or you need to be able to roll.

Third, the fun stuff: always have food on hand. Snack food and candy is wonderful, but actual food is also amazing. Really everything is. If you plan on smoking, I'd suggest having something to drink as well, such as Gatorade. Music is great, and you'll find that bass heavy music is really cool. Dubstep was really created for stoners, but I'd suggest Drum and Bass. Honestly, the type of music you choose really sets the tone of your high. Try something like Chillstep if you just want to relax. Just make sure not to play it too loud, headphones might be a good idea d-_-b. Another great thing to do: shower. Go take a really long, hot shower. It's great. Oh, and smoke with friends. It makes things so much more fun, and then you can play Mario Kart or something.

Oh, and if you plan on keeping weed in your house, and don't want people to know, invest in a vacuum seal container, like this one. The smell will go straight through any number of plastic bags. That being said, a mason jar works just as well.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Just remember: be mindful of how much you take, have food, and make sure you don't have anything you need to do before you get high. Also, if you have any other questions, I'd suggest making a post on r/weed. They're pretty friendly, and the community is larger than this subreddit, so more people will be able to help you out. r/trees is another good one, but they have an 18+ rule, so don't mention your age.

Anyways, have a good time!

u/purexul · 2 pointsr/Homebrewing

I use plastic jars with tops that screw on. I honestly don't recall where I got them, but a 3lb bag of DME fits with a bit of room to spare and it keeps the majority of moisture out. The last little bit of DME tends to kinda get stuck as it has been opened and exposed to moisture several times by that point, but it's the best system I've found for storing DME.

Something like this would do the trick. It's not exactly what I have, but same concept.

u/John825 · 2 pointsr/EDC

I just use an airtight container I got from amazon. Link

I have two of them. One bigger one to hold grinder, abv, and tools. One smaller one to hold the bud.

I'm not sure how much of a difference it actually makes, but man is it satisfying to plunge the air out of this thing.

Is it bad in any way to store sticks vertically? I picked up one of these at TJ Maxx for $5 and is great for on-the-go storage while still being able to see what's inside. I'm able to tape a small Boveda to the underside of the lid.

Something like this, and then click through the related items too if you're not a fan homie

u/jixie007 · 2 pointsr/Coffee

Honestly depends on priority: time/laziness vs coffee quality.

  • Quality: get the Hario Skerton and grind it before you make it.

  • Time / laziness: Getting the local roaster to grind your coffee will give you a better grind, BUT it will go stale over time. Since you're still developing your palate / just upgraded from grocery store (which is all stale), this should be fine for now. I suggest an air tight canister, like this. It won't stop it from going stale, but it'll slow it down. You'll notice the first cups will taste better than the last, but the last cups will still be better than what you were getting from the grocery store. This is how I do. #coffeesnobposer

Edit: If you get the airtight canister, every time you open it, the grinds are exposed to air = goes stale faster. So you'll want to put a couple days to a week's worth in a separate container. Then you're only opening the large canister once or twice a week, vs. every day.
u/Egghead2568 · 2 pointsr/saplings

I got these airtight containers on amazon for a few bucks. Never have any issues with smell or quality degradation. As others have said Mason Jars are always great.

u/dUbiLL · 2 pointsr/Coffee

Wish they could sent one bag every 2 weeks. That would make more sense.

But if the beans are roasted a few days before you receive them the beans will still be good in two weeks. Some would say roasted beans achieve peak flavor 2-3 weeks after they are roasted.

I would buy a couple of these to maximize the freshness.

Fear cuts deeper than swords

OOH I LOVE SCAVENGER HUNTS. Placeholder. I'm working on this. Goodbye sunday night productivity.

EDIT Aug 11, 11:44pm PST

1.) something that is gray.

2.) Something reminiscent of rain. It rains so much in my city and on those days I like to have my tea and soup and all the yummy hot homecooked food at school in the library while I study. I already have a great thermos for my tea and hot cocoa but not for my soups/food.

3.) Something food related that is unusual. I don't know if this is necessarily food related but WOOOO TEA. MANA-TEA. Seriously this is awesome.

4.) Something on your list that is for someone other than yourself. A wii for my mom because she has been wanting a wii or ipad for a long time. My bro and i think the wii would be better because at least we could all play it together when we go home to visit.

5.) I will recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It's the book I just finished reading and I feel like it has helped me a lot. I am so much more motivated and driven and it is helping me make some tough choices in my life. I am a senior in college but this book can help anyone who is at any place in their life I think. I currently have this on my wishlist which is like a supplement to the book. Seriously though, read it, share it with everyone you know. Let's make the world a happier place.

6.) An item that is less than a dollar. Awww yeee. They always seem to have one of these on the coffee table at my brother's house. Wherever he lives. Even though it's never his. But yeah, they're cool but I don't actually want one.

7.) Something related to cats. THIS IS SO AWESOME. I have another mug with the disappearing thing on my wishlist too. But yeah, I love cats, I just don't have much cat stuff on my wishlist. I do need a real cat though... hint hint nudge nudge

EDIT Aug 12, 12:15am PST

8.) Something that is not useful, but so beautiful you must have it. Okay it's not Amazon but it is beautiful and I have had my eye on it for a year. Despite that fact that I do not plan on having children for at least 8 years. Dem hormones are a'ragin.

9.) I know it's not REALLY a movie but... A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why? Because it is so beautiful and awe inspiring. It really brings me a sense of peace every time I watch it.

10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. Explain. I can put on my holy strainer hat and pray to The Flying Spaghetti Monster to save me from the zombies.

11.) Something that would have a profound impact on your life and help you to achieve your current goals. I know I used this for another one but really, I think doing these exercises would help me in all areas of life.

12.) One of those pesky Add-On items. These beauties, even though I doubt I can grow them without a yard...

13.) The most expensive thing on your list. Your dream item. Why? My little acer hand me down freezes a lot, can't do multiple things at once, doesn't have a cd drive, has a screen too tiny to edit photos or edit my website. Basically everything is frustrating. And I'm a college student. So I use the computer for basically everything... and everything the little laptop CAN do takes forever.

EDIT Aug 12, 1:51am PST

14.) Something bigger than a bread box. If you don't think that is big enough, then here, but it's newly added.

15.) Something smaller than a golf ball. Well, I'm pretty sure this is smaller than a golf ball. If it wasn't, I'd be disappointed.

16.) Something that smells wonderful. Mmm imagine the ginger lemon grass!

17.) A (SFW) toy. And here's another one because I couldn't decide which one looks more fun...

18.) Something that would be helpful for going back to school.

19.) Something related to your current obsession, whatever that may be. Currently obsessed with learning all kinds of new jewelry techniques! Also obsessed with tea because it's the one thing my boyfriend and I developed an interest in together. It didn't start out as either of our interests.

20.) Something that is just so amazing and awe-inspiring that I simply must see it. Explain why it is so grand. THIS IS SO PRETTY AND USEFUL AT THE SAME TIME. Seriously so cute, has lovely details, 8gb, and you can wear it as a pendant. Whaaaat!

EDIT: this lovely is made in oregon!

In the future, you might not want to store your beans in the hopper. Light and oxygen cause the tasty flavor compounds in your coffee to break down. You'll be better served by keeping your beans in something airtight, like opaque tupperware or a specialized container like this.

u/JollyGreenGigantor · 2 pointsr/soylent

I bought a package of measuring scoops (as opposed to measuring cups) a while back and robbed the 1/2 cup scoop to use for my Soylent. 2 scoops per serving.

The powder and scoop live in a pop-top cookie jar. I used the large size of that container and it just fits a week of powder (~21 cups). No need to refrigerate until you add water.

Clean looking container of powder and scoop on the counter look a lot more pleasant than bags which made my GF happy. I'm thinking to get a second one so I can keep the chocolate and regular bags of 100%Food out on the counter instead of choosing one to keep in a bag in the cupboard.

also most campuses have a microwave in cafeteria, I trust to carry my food around for 3 hours in my bag and then heat it up. especially if you have cooler blocks then it will stay fresh for longer. I didnt realize my cafeteria had microwaves until I graduated lol, so check around.

These are really great, they keep food warm for hours. Just make sure to let it stand with boiling water first, spill it out, and then fill with food. I think they have 2-3 more sizes.

I'm lucky to live next door to a great roaster who pro-rates the per-pound prices, so I just buy a week's worth at a time and leave them in the bag.

If you're not as lucky, buy 1-2 weeks worth of beans and store them in something like this.

u/kawarazu · 1 pointr/tea

Thank you for your input, that's sort of what I was looking for.

This is probably what I would use it, with.

Do you think it would work?

u/dutch4fire · 1 pointr/Homebrewing

Yeah I will have to research more on proper head retention. I figured the oats would cause the head retention problem so I added carapils to *cross my fingers help said retention. I may bump up the amount of chocolate, but it's just not a main focus in this beer, however at least 1/4# seems like a good amount.

Love local coffee! I would get something newer though. I think it would still be drinkable but the problem with freezing coffee is that two things coffee beans don't like is oxidation and moisture. As soon as that sucker comes out of the freezer and thaws it will not extract the flavors quite as well as fresh coffee. It will be sour and not have good body. Much depends on other factors, but the coffee may taste stale even after being in the freezer. Coffee only really lasts two weeks.

I am starting to roast my own with an air-popper and get the beans from http://www.sweetmarias.com/index.php flipping fantastic site for this. Otherwise, I would buy local dark roasted beans and store whole beans in something called an airscape (http://www.amazon.com/Planetary-Design-Airscape-64oz-Mocha/dp/B00167TT94/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323891815&sr=8-1) which is the only and best way to store coffee. I do have a bag of cheaper stuff I keep sealed tight in the freezer for those emergency mornings when I'm out of the good stuff! Dark roast blends would be the way to go for brews. Don't just stick ground coffee into the thing unless it isn't a main focus. Wish you luck on your next brew! :)

Edit: I know my coffee but I'm a newb in the brewmaking world so I have a lot to learn when incorporating it.

This is what I use for my Avic. Make plenty of cross ventilation holes. About 1.5”-2” of cocofiber, cork bark, and plastic foliage is what I’ve got.

u/Sophsonary · 1 pointr/trees

People in my life DGAF about seeing the weed, just the smell, so I use a big mason jar. Pretty low tech and cheap, but doesn't smell. It is glass though, so that ish can break.

My boyfriend is a little more paranoid. He uses a time capsule. If you're willing to spend $10, I'd recommend it. It's not glass so it's not going to break if your butter fingers drop it, and it's pretty nondescript.

No matter what, I would advise against a tupperware, because you'll never get the dank smell out.

u/abd1tus · 1 pointr/Coffee

I don't know about two months, but you'll need something like this. If you buy the beans green, they will definitely last longer than two months and you can roast them yourself.

I like the Snapware 40 cup containers. They hold two spools easily, have handles, stack nicely. Also hold an ~8 pound bag of prescription pet food, flour in the pantry, etc.

Link is to Amazon rather than the manufacturer's site since Snapware seems to have totally borked their site since I last visited. ::sigh:: Good containers, crappy IT.

This cupcake cookie jar would be a great place for my eldest to store some small treats. Less than $10, with prime shipping.

This Disney PS3 game looks like something both my spouse creature and I could play with the eldest. Less than $20 with Prime.

I've been using Vacu Vin Containers for years and haven't felt the need to try anything else. These work really well for me and can keep beans "fresh" for weeks.

Prior to the Vacu Vin containers, I was pretty happy with Airscape Containers They have an inner seal/lid that you can slide down right on top of the beans to push most of the air out of the container.

I use snapware. I got their biggest model so I can throw everything in there(cvault, raw tray, grinder, dabbing tools, avb container, whip, and more). If I want to take my setup to a friends house, it's large enough to even put a small bubbler in there. The best part is that it's airtight. It's clear so if need be I can tape construction paper to black it out so people don't know what's inside. But since you just have a VapCap and a lighter, you can get one of their smaller models. they're talking about this type of container, it helps coffee stay fresher longer by protecting it from light and oxygen.

u/SoundVU · 1 pointr/Coffee

You could try this Airscape canister.

I saw it at Peet's, and it looks like it could do a good job of keeping coffee beans longer. The inner lid evacuates air as you push down. The outer lid has a rubber seal, similar to the ones that others are suggesting in this thread.

u/kasittig · 1 pointr/AskCulinary

I have this storage canister - I really like it. It's easy to clean and scoop out of and the red canister looks nice on my counter.

u/P3rplex · 1 pointr/Coffee

Hey all, I opted for a 12 cup stove top percolator and a Handground Percision Hand Grinder. I grind coffee every 2-3 days and store in an airtight container. Hopefully this gets gives me the convenience factor of being able to make a lot of coffee, fast, and the quality factor of being able to bring whole beans, kept in the freezer and ground at the most, a day or 2 prior to drinking. Not ideal for maximizing taste, but I feel like a resonable balance of ease and taste.

I hope I made the right decision as I was seriously considering French Press, but the limiting factors were the size of the units (too small) and the need to purchase a serving pitcher (as leaving grounds would over steep). Really liked the Espro French Press but sadly the largest vessel was 32oz.

u/kms410 · 1 pointr/mealprep

The ones I have are the bento containers (Mr. Bento and Classic Bento). I also have this container here which will hold 25 oz. I like both, but enjoy my bento vacuum containers the most.

The biggest "threat" to coffee is oxygen. The better you can prevent oxygen from getting in contact with it the longer it will last. A nice option that I use at home is the Airscape canister. Really smart design. What isn't obvious from some pictures is the plunger you push down to bean level, pushing out excess air. The clear lid has a valve to allow CO2 to vent.

Hey brother. I've been in similar situations.

Just try to buy a pipe in cash, then try to find a way (a friend's credit card, maybe?) to buy something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049557HI?keywords=tightvac&qid=1449629474&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

To make sure you can store the pipe/herb/accessories in your room without the odor alerting anyone who doesn't need to know.

Good luck frient, and blaze on!

The easiest way is to buy one of these to scoop your powder out of.

This way, you can easily pour two bags into it without spilling it all over.

Now, set your scale to zero (tare out) the weight of your blender bottle with spring and a little bit of water in it. Now when you scoop powder into the blender bottle, it will just tell you the weight of the powder.

Airscape are the best. I learned about them while working in the coffee industry & the principle for preservation is the same, dry, dark & minimal air left in the container. I use one of these guys and fit my grinder in with my stash, I love it - http://amzn.com/B002UK0WXS

I keep roasted coffee in an AirScape like this: https://www.amazon.com/Airscape-Coffee-Food-Storage-Canister/dp/B00167XN14

I dont really vacuum seal per se like I would for freezing items but this works pretty well. This was before Fellow came out with their vacuum storage system which looks awesome. Id be interested to know from people on here that have them how well they work. Link to product here: https://fellowproducts.com/atmos/

Air scape is cheap and has a very solid construction and one way valve system has help up for around 3 years no problem. It's not as effective as the Atmos would be in theory but it's more effective than re-sealing the bag.

u/globex_co · -3 pointsr/Coffee

this airscape is the best product I've seen for keeping beans fresh. I think after two weeks, it's practically impossible to keep your beans as fresh as you' d like, but I've had good luck with these things. It has a vacuum/ pressure seal.
