Found inside the wrapper of this (90 cal) fruit jerky
I know what you are dealing with, and I'm so sorry that you're going through it.
What I've found helpful is to try making different levels of effortlessness for various daily tasks. Basically, it's just having contingency plans that I can implement as needed. Making them pleasant is also important.
For example, here are my breakfast contingencies:
Another thing that really helped me a lot was learning to drink more water. For almost everybody, this sounds as simple as just grabbing a water bottle and making an effort to change habits. It probably doesn't even occur to them that this might need to be streamlined for people like us.
For me, here's what worked:
These are all things that require spending some money upfront, but are cheap to maintain.
Basically, the strategy is to accept that you're already doing what you can to help yourself, so making the tasks easier will let you do more and live better with your limited energy. Having contingencies that accept how bad some days can be will help to keep one very bad day from turning into a very bad week because you won't need to stretch yourself to get something done when you can least "afford" to do so.
Don't be embarrassed or ashamed by the lengths you need to go to in order to live decently. Others won't get it, but we both know that you're already used to people not really understanding.
If you want to talk more and exchange ideas about more ways to "save spoons," then just let me know. Good luck!
The brand is Bare Organic, which appears nowhere in the picture. Fuji & Reds is the flavor, "...ganic apple chips" is the partially-out-of-frame description.

Nodule.
Just be thankful it was Jolly Ranchers and not Gushers fruit snacks.
Packaging changed but they are on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0717B4FBR
Holy shit, do they still make those things?
Edit: Yes, they do.
Looks like as ever, Amazon have almost everything (at a price)

I actually just want a box of fruit snacks right now.
The only appropriate food pairing is Shark Bites fruit snacks.
Ohhhh I love shark bites. I'm gonna melt'em down and straightline a box.
What about some Gluten Free and vegan Gummy Bunnies? My mom always used to skip the candy all together and fill our baskets with little trinkets and things like nail polish (this is vegan and not tested on animals), and flower crowns and garden stuff. This enchanted garden is adorable.
Sorry, I strayed away from the candy theme. Lol. Hope some of this helps though. Good Luck shopping for your kiddo!
These bobbypins with pads would be helpful.
Thanks for the contest!

I'm going to a Poke-Party!
I'm super nervous, but I've had a whole month to prepare. I was ambitious at first, planning to make myself a Vulpix cosplay, but I haven't even started on that. My backup plan is wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and my 11yo daughter's Eevee ears.
I still have a few weeks to practice, so I'm perfecting pokeball surprise dessert to bring and share (https://youtu.be/NFOgFo7IE5c).
Another idea I have is playing pin the tail on Pikachu. I'm bringing this poster (https://imgur.com/a/py5vEYz) my 16yo daughter painted for her brother's 9th birthday party. Each guest will get to paint their own Pikachu tail to pin on the poster and take home. Prizes include fruit snacks for playing (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XXXPL3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HHdlDb1M61VPM) and pokeball surprise bath bombs (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L1XW8W3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nEdlDbP052NXW) for the winner.
I can't wait!
I think the Annie's Bunnies would be cute since they are, you know, bunnies? I buy these for myself at Earth Fare and love them anyway but for easter they would be special, I think.
my daughter has food allergies as well and I have a feeling that our children's easter baskets are going to be similar. I didn't even think about vegan chocolate so thanks for reminding me cause now im adding them to my list.
you could try:
-these bunnies
-these eggs
-you could get her this book or this one
-safety scissors
-we get our daughter these fruit snacks
-we've had good experiences with the brand earth balance

Here is dark chocolate http://www.harrisburgstore.com/6-packs-mrs-mays-whole-dark-chocolate-rounds-strawberry-3-5-ounce/
They are made by Dole Foods as Snack Bites https://dolesunshine.com/products/indulgent/milk-chocolate-freeze-dried-strawberries. They may have the Dole branding packages or Mrs. Mays. Chocolate covered, freeze dried strawberries. Just a thought, but you can melt milk chocolate and dip freeze dried strawberries too.

On no! And I was all proud of myself...
But wait -- you could order some from Amazon or another online seller. The ones to which I've linked you are even fancy and organic.
I found these freeze fried fruit snacks on clearance at my local grocery store and my guys are going absolutely BONKERS over them. Like, I need to go back and buy every bag that is left, because my rats are going to lose their minds if I run out. I think I might be able to train them to go get the mail for me, they love these things so much.
Right now I have a few bags of the banana and blueberry ones, the blueberries are whole berries and the bananas are cut into perfect rat-paw sized squares.
Another, more readily-available, less expensive option would be the Gerber baby puffs My boys really, really like these and they've loved every flavor I've bought.
Overnight oats as already suggested, something like a nakd bar or any sort of DIY fruit/protein bar thing.
Apple, bell pepper, carrot, cucumber slices/sticks/wedges/whatever precut in a air tight container with some hummus to dip into? I'm huge fan of chopped veggies and fruit in a container to snack on. Greek yogurt dip or hummus, depending on storage options. Also babybel cheese wheels can be good for a little boost.
If you have a fridge, yogurt pots, Greek yogurt for protein, cottage cheese.

I wish I was a wizard! I just started experimenting by always making a second batch and adding different things. Oh, I forgot to say with the tiramisu-type ones: add a dash of almond extract.
Some things I've found to be good in 'mallows:
Dehydrated berries, crushed into powder.
Peppermint extract (with or without adding cocoa powder)
Instant espresso
Vanilla bean paste - this has become my standby recipe, sometimes dusted with crushed candy canes.
*Matcha, though I'm still trying to get the balance right for that nice, creamy green tea flavor.
Your marshmallows look gorgeous, by the way!
I have an unhealthy/awesome obsession with fruit snacks & disney movies. I sometimes think that I'm still a child...
You can buy them at Asian grocery stores or freeze-dried on Amazon.
Are you anywhere close to Kansas City? I think 888 Int'l Market had some the last time I went there, but that was a few years ago.
So my daughter is only 9 months old and I'm still going to do the whole easter thing with her even though she won't really understand what's happening. I'm not all about giving tons of candy to her so what I ended up doing was 1- stuffed animals and little toys that appropriate for her, and 2- I filled her easter eggs with little snacks she can eat and then coins to put in her piggy bank. Anyway- just a few suggestions that I thought might help.
Here are some possibilities for you. This seems really appropriate, but damn kind of expensive and I think these might work for you too Bunny fruit snacks. Good luck and thanks for the contest! Please just surprise me if I win! :)
I'm soooo drunk
I'd enjoy The Prince of Egypt
I’ll see myself over to /r/QuitYourBullshit
