I live in Denver where once the sun goes down, it cools off dramatically. It's also not humid. This makes a WHF ideal. My husband and I installed this one and it's been awesome! You can hardly hear it running and it pulls the cool night air into our house. We love it.
edit: we do not have AC, which is why we installed this.

You could get her a gardening set. There's a store close by me that sells these sets of gardening tools in fun floral prints. They're not big, but they'd make a nice gift. If there's a local gift/jewelry/handmade shop, I'd look there for ideas. I'll see if I can pull up a picture of what I mean since I'm kind of rambling.
Kind of like this, though the ones I've seen in store have more pieces and are less expensive.
Anyone know where I can buy a tall shift knob? Looking for something similar to this or this but none of them are tall enough. Even something stupid like this would work as long as it's made of good material that wont break.
