I put a red see-through film over the Hit Points section of my character sheet, so every time I go to change my hit points, I have to move the sheet, which reminds me to make a concentration saving throw.

I used this transparent gift wrap from Michaels: https://www.michaels.com/transparent-packaging-wrap-opal/10713065.html?cm_mmc=PLASearch-_-google-_-MICH_Shopping_US_N_Party_N_N_N_N-_-Party&&cm_mmc=PLASearch-_-google-_-MICH_Shopping_US_N_Party_N_N_N_N-_-Party&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpPHoBRC3ARIsALfx-_IGQVjBlV4RqO_XDNYoHlzfMt7S09yya8yCkxd-CkiXnZNfIRH5aUMaAi47EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
if you look up colored transparent cellophane or transparent gift wrap it should come up! I had a hard time finding clear stuff as well, even online, so it took a bit to find some I like. When I went to Michaels in person they had a ton of colors too, not just rainbow :) I believe they also have some on amazon, I think this one could work for a lapis wig even though it’s not super iridescent: https://www.amazon.com/Hygloss-Products-Cellophane-Roll-Baskets/dp/B002546WMO/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=blue+cellophane+transparent+roll&qid=1562165748&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
I think using the rainbow one could work too though over a blue wig because it’s clear, but that’s up to you! Tbh, I did my wig three times because I didn’t like the cellophane I used or I wanted it to be more shiny. For an added touch, I recommend putting some hair tinsel in your wig under the wrap, it makes it look really sparkly and you can buy basically any color on amazon. Good luck, I think your cosplay already looks great and that it comes out the way you want :)

I was thinking about it and the closest material I could compare it to is the plastic wrapping they use for bouquets... this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Adorox-Inch-Clear-Cellophane-specifications/dp/B0170H8TL2/ref=pd_sbs_201_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=TQTYE9NQ5W2Z2YASN58E

I think you'd have to try to find the thinnest version of it you could though so the box closes properly. If you try it, let me know how it turns out. Super curious now :)

I don't know anything about LED strips; but for LED-in-hilt blades you can make them yourself for cheap (well, cheap in bulk, for a one-off it'd probably be more expensive):

- Blade tips like this: https://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Shouldered-1-thick-walled-blade-tip-with-reflective-disc--P139.aspx

- Polycarbonate tubing: https://usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=35302&clickid=search

In that case, if you don't want to wear glasses, and given the lack of a software-based solution, you could look into DIY'ing a film-based tinted overlay that you could place atop your screen at night. I just discovered a website specialized in this sort of product ( https://lowbluelights.com ). Sadly they don't have a Switch specific product, but you could get a generic "phablet" film and cut it to size.

Assuming you don't want to leave it on all the time, the next trick would be find something that would let you make it removable. Maybe find a tempered glass protector that lacks adhesive, and apply it to that, and then put little clips on it so you could hook it over the Switch's screen.

Maybe this entire thing could be done with just some cheap cellophane sheets like these.
