I'm late to the party here but normally get regular size tissue paper at the dollar store or TJ Maxx/Home Goods. I like to use this XL paper for bigger items but try not to use it as much since it's more expensive. I have both a TJ Maxx and Amazon credit card so I usually use my rewards for it!

I honestly struggled with the box more than anything 😂😂 I got these on amazon.

They’re 5” x 5” and I honestly wish I would’ve gotten bigger boxes.

Oh wow, that’s awesome you guys are doing that together! That sounds like some great quality time leading up to the show.

If there’s anything I can do to help her with her designs or anything, please feel free to reach out. I love seeing kids/teens really get into their creativity and express themselves. Unfortunately being a designer, half the time my daughter just wants to me to make whatever it is for her lol. Once I push her though to try herself, she comes up with some great stuff. It might annoy her at times, but it’s worth it to see her proud of what she accomplished.

So please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help support your daughter’s efforts!

P.S. On the flowers, if you make them yourself from paper or whatnot, you could maybe write it on edge of the petals, otherwise possibly some small inexpensive gift style tags to put around the stem might work. Like these: Oldhill Pack of 100 Blank Kraft Paper Gift Tags with Natural Jute Twines 200 Feet (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGS3JMZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_eV-ZBb7TJ8ZDP

You could do white or other colors, but the black could look cool if you got some kind of yellow marker that would work on it.

Edited for copy/paste issues lol

sure thing! here it is:

i know exactly what you mean! sorry for the formatting (mobile 😬)
here’s what worked for me:

peanut buttter mixture

1 cup confectioners sugar (sometimes it’s called powdered sugar)

1 cup peanut butter (i like to give it 15 seconds or so in the microwave just to soften it up)

2 Tbs of crushed graham crackers (you can also use similar plain cookies like nilla wafers or even cereal like cap’n crunch)

1/4 to 1/2 a stick of softened cannabutter (up to 113g)

chocolate coating

1 - 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate

how to assemble

melt half your chocolate

>by either using the double boiler method or placing it in a heat safe bowl and microwaving it in bursts of 15 seconds (you can go up to 30 seconds, but the extra time gradually heating the chocolate will make it much more stable and reduce the possibility of it burning)
here’s a video about it.

>>i like to add a tsp or so of distillate or cannabis infused oil into my chocolate before melting for a little added joy (this needs to be done right at the beginning before microwaving to avoid separation of the chocolate)

coat your tins with a tsp of your chocolate
>i used this pan,but you can use aluminum muffin cups too or whatever silicone mold you prefer.

>>make sure to coat the sides all the way up to the rim (try not to go over it or you’ll have a little chocolate tail!)
get in there and use your finger or a brush (if you fancy)

stick your chocolate shells in the freezer for 15 min and prepare your peanut butter filling.

>soften your peanut butter in the microwave (15 seconds) and give it a good mix.
add all other ingredients and mix well.

>>the consistency should be like playdough. you should be able to form loose balls.

here’s where you’re going to have to wing it (or, if you’re making these for patients, this is where you’ll whip out your kitchen scale to weigh precise peanut butter globs).

remove your chocolate shells from the freezer and add your peanut butter balls to the center.

> you’ll know your chocolate is set once you touch it lightly. if it’s hardened, you’re good to go! if not, don’t despair, give it a few more minutes in the freezer.

place chocolate shells filled with peanut butter back into the freezer for another 15 min.

melt the remainder of your chocolate

>pour the rest of your chocolate using a tsp over the top of your cups once they’re out of the freezer.

>>when they’re all covered, give them a very gentle shake (no tapping!). get those suckers back in the freezer for another 15 min.

pop them out of their molds and store for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.

you can wrap them in cool foil like these

I found it on amazon! Wrapping Paper I love all of the prints

I got this at PetSmart and it's kind of fun: https://www.petsmart.com/small-pet/litter-and-bedding/all-living-things-odor-control-fall-small-pet-paper-bedding-54176.html

The texture is kind of weird - it's shredded very small. But my Syrian actually prefers it that way (the first time he's ever burrowed was with this type). Haven't tried it with my Robo yet, who likes to dig all kinds of little tunnels. I'm not sure how well it would hold a tunnel/burrow.

There is also the CareFresh candy corn bedding: https://www.chewy.com/carefresh-candy-corn-small-animal/dp/183524

As for black paper, maybe try the crinkle paper you find in gift wrapping/party decoration sections. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Crinkle-Filler-Wrapping-Basket-Filling/dp/B0752DHV6G

That's crazy! I saw this and I almost wanna buy some. Lol.

I know he’s on the littler side, but these really help me with mine. Not sure if they’d be a choking hazard for a 5-year-old though.

Not familiar with the way Khang isolates, but what kind of bags are you using? Organza fabric bags are what I see guys using the most to isolate. Something like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078249Y7C/

One guy I know buys organza fabric by the yard and makes his own giant bags to put over the plant entirely.

Haven't at all worked out the details, but I was leaning towards something like this with a ribbon and little gift tag. Not sure if it's the best bang for my buck, but I think it's the top contender because it looks the most professional/fancy. Dollar Tree also has some cute favor boxes (but the quality isn't as nice, even if the price is great). I was also toying with the idea of doing either organza bags or cellophane or something, but I worry they'll get squished or look lame...

for all my glass toys i use velvet bags from amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C962WFP/
i used 10in x 3in for all my glass dildos

as for the big bad dragon toys, you will either wanna just wrap them with a towel, or sew your own bags

Yes, I think it is. I usually place my sundew somewhere that I won't accidentally disturb it once all the flowers have bloomed (so that as the seeds develop, I don't knock as many out of the flowers by accident). Then, once the stem starts to turn brown I put a small paper bag under the flowers and clip the stem so it falls into the bag - a bunch of seeds will fall out, and you can tap/shake the rest out.

You can also choose to get a thin woven bag like this:
https://smile.amazon.com/Acrux7-Organza-Wedding-Favour-Drawstring/dp/B07HJ2C43D/
(You can find them at stores that sell wedding or craft supplies too) and put it right on the flower stalk after all the flowers have bloomed and pull the strings tight. That will keep most of the seeds in the bag when they fall out.

I have collected quite a lot of seed over the years and I often trade it in seed swaps!

Not sure if you want the welcome bags coordinated with your wedding colors/theme, but a quick search on amazon brought up this, lots of color options here, and this one more for the idea of having "welcome" in calligraphy on the bag as a design.

And other than amazon, there are also great etsy users as well! I found some here, or something like this or this!

Searching through I found a bunch of options for customizable bags from tote bags to muslin to thicker paper bags. Happy planning! :)
