If I were to start over and buy new equipment, one of those all-in-one systems would be very attractive. My only concern with them is I don't have a high voltage outlet and I wouldn't want to deal with an under powered system.

For a traditional system I'd do something like this:

u/WildNW0nderful · 27 pointsr/CozyPlaces

I have a bunch of plants on a shelf and I like to water them with a wash bottle, like the kind they use in science labs. Something like this. It gives a lot of control over where the water goes and keeps the plants leaves dry.

u/marianleatherby · 25 pointsr/legaladvice

Get a few of these! Hmm, might be worth stocking up on other common postpartum comfort items--a lot of folks recommend sitting on menstrual pads that have been soaked in witch hazel and/or stuck in the freezer, for example.

u/Stretch18 · 13 pointsr/Ultralight

my baseline general water gig: 2x 1L smart/life bottles dirty, 1x 700mL smart/life clean. Have sports caps on sawyer and 700mL.

I thread my bidet cap thing right onto a dirty bottle. Between the angle I use it at shooting backwards between legs and the 'L' angle of the bidet nozzle thing like these I cannot possibly fathom poo flecks getting into the bottle.

add in a 2L CNOC next if I need more capacity, then adding a third dirty 1L for the PCT this year. Maybe get crazy with it and swap a 1L for a clean 700mL and carry both on shoulder straps

ninja edit: also won't catch me dead without my 3.7g capri sun water scoop. lets me fill all my capacity to the tippy top even with just a trickle on the surface of a rock or less than 1 inch puddle

edit2: so as not to propagate bad practices, see u/reset2pt0 's comments in this thread about dirty vs clean water for bidet-ing so that you can make an informed decision on how best to splash your leather cheerio clean

Explosive Elephant Toothpaste!! edited to correct ingredient - and update notes

My goal was big, shooting foam steams! I tried other methods and recipes - but this worked best!

What is happening in elephant toothpaste: hydrogen peroxide is made up of two hydrogen and two oxygen molecules. This is one extra oxygen molecule than water. Hydrogen peroxide is very unstable; it keeps wanting to lose that extra oxygen molecule. In this experiment, we use potassium iodide as a catalyst to knock off that extra oxygen molecule very quickly, and soap to capture those molecules of oxygen in foam.

I tried this with two different flask types: 2L Erlenmeyer flask and 2L graduated cylinder.

For each flask I needed the following:

  • 250ml 35% H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide)
  • 50ml 4 molar KI (dry, granular potassium iodide)
  • a bit of dish soap

To get (my best approximation of) 4 molar KI, I put 35 mg of nearly-pure granular KI in a small glass measuring beaker, and filled it to 50 ml with cool tap water.

If you use smaller flasks, you will need to cut the ingredients by about 1/2.

I was able to buy the chemicals and all the flasks online. Please be careful with the hydrogen peroxide – it will burn your skin at this concentration.

The result is soapy water - but there may be some residual hydrogen peroxide. Simply rinsing the area well should be sufficient.

    Steps:

Pre-make the KI solution, and measure out all other chemicals.

    USING GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION

    -- Put 250ml H2O2 in each flask
-- Put ~25-30 ml of dish soap in each flask
-- Add a few drops food coloring of color desired (complicates clean-up - be warned!)
-- QUICKLY add 50 ml KI solution to each flask and jump back!

    Notes:

The graduated cylinder produces a thick pillar of foam, the Erlenmeyer flask produces more of a jet.

The chemicals should be added by an adult.

If you film this, be sure to have the person filming stand back, and be prepared to capture an 8 to 10 foot jet coming out of the flask.

    Shopping list (what I used):

My favorite similar idea, get under the leaves, but you don't have to turn it upside down and it has a longer nozzle.

Amazon! You can find packs of 12/24/48/etc. vials / amber bottles for extremely cheap. You can also get very cheap (in a good way, they're all high quality) nasal sprayers, as well. I have SOOOO many left over amber bottles and such.

Here are some examples!

1oz Amber Bottles 12pk

Same thing, but 2oz.

12 Amber Vials with Droppers

Larger Clear Round Pyrex bottle

2ml amber dram bottles (these also come in 24-36+ counts, too

...and there's so much more! Amazon is a goldmine for research materials in my experience! Hope I could help!

u/theaether · 6 pointsr/preppers

I laughed out loud at that last bit! I have one similar to the second one (just squeeze, no battery), but I found that fancier doesn't mean better. Literally just this plain ol squeeze bottle was way easier to use, aim, clean, etc (https://www.amazon.com/Medline-MEDDYND70125-Cleansing-Bottle-8oz/dp/B01M2BKNLE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1526059814&sr=8-5&keywords=squirt+bottle)

Tooth powder plus 5 mL dropper bottle has been my go-to for years. Bonus: it's simply various carbonates (aka limestone) and menthol, so I don't feel bad spitting it into a shallow hole.

u/jtfarabee · 5 pointsr/beer

Do you mean a squeeze bottle? You should be able to get them at any restaurant supply.

u/jojothepirate87 · 5 pointsr/Warhammer

I bought them on Amazon.

Link for droppers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00KD76CO8?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title

I also used these funnels:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07BH34G49?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title

I am testing these ball bearings as agitators. I am soaking a few of them in salt water to see if they corrode. So far they have held up.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007IK9VNM?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title

Edit: I used a mix of distilled water and Vallejo thinner medium in a 9 drops of water to one(sometimes two) drop of thinner ratio.

Just add the thinner medium and the drops of water to the pot along with 2 ball bearings. Shake it up and pour it into the dropper via the funnel. Try and find something to brace the dropper if you can. You don't want it tipping over halfway through the pour. When the pot is mostly cleared out add those 2 bearing to the dropper bottle as an agitator.

The citadel labels peel right off and I put them on the dropper bottle and it looks pretty fancy. If only Citadel would make my life easier and put the paint in a dropper at the paint plant 😂.

It doesn't take very long to transfer a paint so you can get a lot of them done in a short amount of time.

u/keirx · 4 pointsr/fountainpens

You can buy vials from Amazon or [Goulet] (https://www.gouletpens.com/goulet-empty-ink-sample-vials/p/GP-10006). And you can get blunt syringes from [Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/Duda-Energy-Syringepk001-Industrial-Syringes/dp/B00NDETMR2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1485633133&sr=8-4&keywords=blunt+syringe) or Goulet as well. You can also use any small glass or plastic vial you might have, I recommend small spice or jewelry jars. You can often find them in craft shops if that's easier and more local for you. Blunt syringes aren't as easy to find in person, but you can often find wood glue syringes like this in any local woodworking or craft shops.

u/yeahimageek · 4 pointsr/trailrunning

I bought a 50 pack of these plastic Centrifuge tubes for mixing on the go. One 50 mL tube holds almost exactly a single serving of Tailwind. Plus, I can fit two full tubes in the storage pouch of my Nathan SpeedDraw plus. I used this setup for a Marathon and a few trail races and it worked great. The tubes are so cheap you can dispose of them if you want, or save and wash them for reuse. Much better than the formula dispenser option you're looking at IMO.

Edit: Here's an updated product link to what appears to be the same item, but is in stock.

u/paladiumsteve · 4 pointsr/StonerEngineering

There wouldn't be need to be much engineering involved, but this set is basically a starter kit for DIY stoners

u/npersa1 · 4 pointsr/PacificCrestTrail

So, first: Hike your own hike. That applies to a lot of things, including gear. If you're looking for the "best" of any item, you can ask 10 hikers and get 10 different answers.

That said, there's one thing I swear by: bleach. Forget all those other purifying contraptions and gimmicky ways to quench your thirst. A small eye dropper of bleach will last a lot of miles, it will almost certainly cut your pack weight and possibly even be easier and quicker than your current method of making water. And, to top it off, bleach is inexpensive and widely available in stores.

How it works:

  • Use plain bleach (nothing scented or such).
  • I used two drops of bleach per 1 liter of water, shake and wait 30 minutes, following directions from the EPA Note: some sources suggest using as much as 5 drops of bleach per 1 liter of water
  • I carried an eye dropper filled with bleach. A lot of water was clear enough to scoop directly into a water bottle, drop in bleach, shake and watch 30 minutes. If the water had stuff in it, we'd scoop dirty water into a pot and then filter through a bandana into a water bottle.

Pro tip: Buy a handful of eye dropper LINK bottles. Mail fresh bottles ahead in resupplies that way you can replace anything that gets damaged. Be sure to label "Bleach" on your bottle so no one gets goofy with it.

I also think it's generally a good idea to have the means to purify water in two ways. For instance, if your Sawyer breaks, it'd be a good idea to have a dropper of bleach available. If your eye dropper springs a hole, it'd be helpful to have iodine, a UV pen, a Sawyer, etc. (even a second bottle of bleach!).

u/Adam2uBer · 4 pointsr/TheBrewery

Utility cart. There are smaller ones in case you are limited on space. That with a bucket or plastic shoe box as a sani bath comes in handy. Beats having to juggle parts between the rack to where you need it.

Nail apron. Carry a multi-tool, sharpie, pen, notepad, keg caps when washing/filling kegs, or a TC/gasket from time to time. I have some overalls with a nail apron on it. It looks goofy but you can never have too many pockets.

Painter's tape. Leaves little to no residue on stainless, fold down one end so it's easier to peel off later. Label just about everything in the brewery with it.

Squeeze bottles for filling keg valves after cleaning/filling. Don't have to deal with priming a spray bottle when you're running low and at the end of the day you're wasting less ethanol (if that's what you use).

u/phaberman · 3 pointsr/trees

Tuck one of these between your legs or put it up your butt/vag

u/etownrawx · 3 pointsr/CannabisExtracts

You really do need to get all these factors right for light colored oil. The colder the initial wash, the cleaner the material, the fresher the material, the quicker the wash... the less necessary filtration will be. That said, if you need to filter it, pouring through a coffee filter doesn't really do much for color.

Take it easy on the AC, it can color your solution a bit red. Use it sparingly just to remove the green.

Freeze everything. If you can run the filter inside a freezer, do it.

-Bentonite catches water soluble stuff like lipids and waxes.

-Activated Carbon bonds to the chlorophyll

-DE/Celite catches the AC which holds onto the chlorophyll, along with other smallest contaminants

-The filter disk retains all this material in the funnel

>Almost like it's too full to empty, if that makes sense?

This is totally a possibility. The bladder is a muscle that is triggered to contract (and thereby pee) when it is stretched out by urine. If it gets too full, it can lose some the sensation and have a hard time contracting effectively.

Some tricks for reluctant bladders (sorry if formatting's wonky, I'm on mobile):

Use a peri bottle to get the flow started. Fill it with warm (not hot) water and gently run it over your lady bits to help the stream start. This will be great postpartum too, especially if you have stitches to mitigate stinging sensation.

Take slow deep breaths and blow out slowly with slightly pursed lips like you're blowing bubbles.

Put a couple drops of peppermint oil in the bowl of the toilet . (Not on your lady bits! Just near the front of the bowl on the porcelain above the water line)

If you're still having a hard time, sometimes sitting backwards on the toilet so you are straddling it can help change the angle and make it easier.

All that said, I would still definitely recommend mentioning this to your OB just in case it is a UTI or something else out of the norm going on. Bladder issues left untreated can turn into much worse problems.

u/r0kud · 3 pointsr/microgrowery

And clean! So many failures are due to not cleaning your probe after each use. Keeping a wash bottle with some distilled/RO water next to where you store/clean your meter helps a lot.

u/DustForVomit · 3 pointsr/DIY_eJuice

I just picked up 100 30ml LDPE bottles with child proof caps and dropper tops (those awesome thin needle tip ones that fit in the bottom fill port of the kayfun lite), for $30 (plus something like $6 shipping). Heartland Vapes has some pretty good pricing.

I also recently picked up 50 15ml LDPE bottles with dropper tips and caps for $14.00 from Amazon. It's awesome if you have prime.

u/NoRedditAtWork · 3 pointsr/knifeclub

You can use a variety of types but if you want the knife to be food-safe, mineral oil is a good choice. I'm lazy and use this brand via one of these.

u/Bluecolt · 3 pointsr/guns

I have and use both the liquid and aerosol versions and like to use them for different things. I bought a combo pack like this from Amazom along with an oiler like this

I use the aerosol for cleaning, and have the oiler needle-bottle full of liquid Ballistol in my range bag for lubing. I have my CHL and apply fresh lube once a week or so to my carry piece, and a needle-bottle makes application really convenient. It might seem expensive, but with the liquid you get 16oz, which for some people is nearly a lifetime supply. Most gun oils are only 2-3oz, so a 16oz bottle is a lot.

u/lordfili · 3 pointsr/Homebrewing

So I uh, cheat, and use Northern Brewer's Fast Pitch. I absolutely love this product as it means I can whip up a starter in ~5 mins before leaving for work in the morning (because inevitably that's the only time I remember I need a starter for later in the week). If you'd rather make your own starter wort, it's pretty simple - all you need is DME, and the measurement can be calculated here.

Otherwise, my method is the same as /u/pricelessbrew's above, which was originally from /u/brulosopher here. As I mentioned, I use centrifuge tubes for storing yeast - this actually was a method someone here suggested on a daily Q&A thread a few months back that I can't find now. Containers are cheap enough to only use once, and are pre-marked with volumes to be able to estimate cell count. Highly recommended.

u/viridian_sea · 2 pointsr/Transgender_Surgeries

This comes up every so often, I think this post is the only one listed in the wiki but if you search you'll find quite a few lists. Here's what things I found useful, to that I would add one of these perineal cleaning bottles that can be used for bidet/douching/general cleaning. It'll vary as different surgeons give you different supplies; for Suporn and I think a few others they just give you a donut and it's better than the one I was planning to buy.

For bed pads I've been using disposable despite having a few reusable hospital-type ones, as you probably won't have much energy to clean them for a while and water-based lube tends to be messy and gross and get everywhere compared to oil-based lube you can use later on. I managed to reuse them each once, but you're going to be generating a lot of trash (lube, pads, etc) anyway, so it's best not to feel too bad about it and focus on recovery in the short term imo.

u/supersciteach · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

I agree with /u/notsweetenough that a 2L flask is way too big. If you a variety of other items at the table, you can get away with 250mL or 500mL flasks.

One issue I can see is that real lab ware can be pretty pricey. The first inspo photo you posted (which I love!) could easily be over $100 in lab ware alone. There are some sets on Amazon that are affordable-ish. If you want a mix-and-match thing going on, you could get this set. I would envision the larger 1L and 500mL flasks filled with fairy lights, and the smaller flasks with flowers in them. To save on costs, I would split them between two tables (with the 1L + 250mL on one table and the 500mL, 150mL, and 50mL on another). Likewise, there are equivalent beaker sets if you want to mix-and-match flasks and beakers.

If you wanted a more uniform theme, like in your second inspo photo, something like these 250mL Erlenmeyer flasks might work.

If it were me, I would probably go with mix-and-match sized flasks and beakers, with the largest ones holding the lights and smaller ones with flowers. I'd also have a separate table number with whatever science-y reference you want (plant, animal, elements, etc.). If the two candles didn't feel like they were enough, I would add on some 50mL beakers as bud vase, or colored wired balls (like in inspo #2), or fake succulents.

u/Vaganusaurus · 2 pointsr/DIY_eJuice

You could surely find some on Amazon (make sure it is the right plastic) or just throw one in with an order from Bull City Vapor. (Link #1) (Link #2)

Or you can get something like this. Might need to modify it slightly for VG though.

u/MlsRx · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

I made some for my first baby (pads + witch hazel + aloe gel) but I never used them. The hospital sent me home with witch hazel pads and Dermoplast spray, that was all I needed. One thing that really did help was to have an extra squeeze bottle for post partum cleansing since you can't wipe for a while. The hospital sent me home with one but I had another on hand just in case and it was handy to throw in the diaper bag when we left the house.

u/caeciliusinhorto · 2 pointsr/cocktails

Here?. You can also get a slightly smaller tin. I leave sourcing a teaspoon and brown sugar as an exercise to the reader.

u/Hutobega · 2 pointsr/ageofsigmar

Why yes I did except for a few technical paints. I took a solid day to do and it's not that hard though in my case many of my paints were harder and needed severe watering down so right now they are not in the best of shape BUT if you'rs are in good shape should be no problem!

Here is what I used:

https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Dropper-dropping-Bottles-Removable/dp/B00V479TVE/ref=sr_1_20?crid=3AH1GI9Q6GALS&keywords=dropper%2Bbottle&qid=1555967511&s=gateway&sprefix=dropper%2B%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-20&th=1

And you can throw in stainless steel ball bearings as a mixer as well but I got a bad batch that ended up rusting cause it was a lie lmao. But the bottles and the funnel are the only items you really need. For getting paint out you could get nice metal scrapping tools to help with the process.

Like I said it takes time but was worth it when I did it.

u/Catski1 · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

I think most of the people here have answered the questions. I'd only say, if you're flying a lot, that having one of the plastic eye droppers is a very good alternative.

Or.
http://www.freundcontainer.com/plastic-child-resistant-dropper-bottles/c/643/

There's a brand I'm missing here, but you get the basic idea. I just worry about glass breaking, not that plastic is indestructible mind you.

Anyhow. If your flying don't forget to wrap your bottle in a quality ziploc bag or two. And some pens need you to relieve air pressure (Pilot 823) in them to prevent the inky mess.

Best of luck. Hope that this one works for you. Cheers.

And here is how to use it.

Bret Maverick has some good info on dewaxing.

As for those screens, i tend to question anything that i can see through. I cant tell you that those wont work. If they really are 25 micron then there is no arguing with that. The best reusable filter medium ive used is boro wool. As well as that i use the ashless paper filters.

Im honestly not sure what the exact ratio is for alcohol to oil but its an easy google search. Just make sure you use enough alcohol. Which is easy. Just use a bunch lol. Too much won't negatively effect it where too little will. Check out a few of those videos though. Buchners are easy to use but also easy to mess up.

I got two packs of Omega yeast (OYL-500 & OYL-052) for free from my LHBS as they were packaged in January. How can I recover and store these? I was thinking a two stage yeast starter on my stir plate, cold crashing and pitching the slurry into one of these, then storing in the fridge. If I do that, how long will they last? And would it be a good idea to pitch them in another starter before use?

I had to take a plane two four days ago, and I used nicotine empty bottles for e-cigs. A friend of mine gave them to me, I washed them properly and they're just perfect! You can find something like [them] (http://www.amazon.com/Empty-Dropper-Bottle-Plastic-Liquid/dp/B00DS2B6GE/ref=pd_tcs_compl_hg_63?ie=UTF8&refRID=0XEHBVKEJY7T43MRTKRM) easily.

These? The caps are orange but they look similar enough.

What a cool theme! I hope your daughter has a brilliant birthday party.

You could serve individual different flavours of jelly (jello in the US, right?!) is these petri dishes.

You could use these specimen bags as party bags! These touchable bubbles come in test tubes and are pretty fun!

These molecule model kits were always good fun in science at school - maybe you could incorporate this into a party game? Or else make a few molecules and have them as table decorations!

Thank you for this contest! If I win, surprise me! I hope the party planning goes well.

  • I try clearing away all the old soil when I repot.
  • I didn't know about having roots heal after repotting, but I generally wait a few days just to let them settle in. I may try waiting for an entire week just to see if this improves things.
  • I have a squeeze bottle (this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1SYQK0) that I've been using to water in between and around my succulents, although sometimes I'm a bit lazy and put them directly under the tap. I'll stop doing that as well.
  • I do have two newer ones that I haven't gotten around to repotting yet but they don't have the tight rosettes that all the others have had (one is a crassula and the other a kalanchoe). These are currently fine. I may investigate the soil itself and see if that's the problem.

Maybe these? My local natural foods and supplements store sells them.

Rather than remove the foil seal completely, I poke a hole in it with a toothpick. Works pretty nicely.

For a more controlled alternative, Wash bottles are fairly inexpensive and can hold a wide variety of liquids.

I think most people prefer 2 oz Boston Rounds with polycone caps, which are available on Amazon. they also come in other sizes.

e.g.

https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-Boston-Round-Black/dp/B072HNRNGK

you'll also want a small funnel if you don't already have one.

Just winterize it, use a cheap vacuum pump and get a 40$ Buchner off Amazon they come with the filter paper, hose and everything you’ll need, dissolve the finger hash into warm ethanol let it cool and add dry ice when it’s done reacting run it through the filter. Evap the ethanol and you’re left with a concentrate that is plant matter free.

There are much better methods to do this, like freezing the material over 24hrs with dry ice, but, this is super fast and you’ll be done in just a few hours.

Here’s a link to a filter on amazon super cheap and easy.

This works. For VG, I used an 8-oz barbeque sauce bottle for a while then bought 16-oz HDPE bottles. I can turn it upside down and squeeze the hell out of it with no leaks around the cap (unlike the seeping from my cheapie bottle). The bottle opening is a little small but I have no trouble with refilling it from a gallon jug.

For PG, I use a 250ml laboratory-type wash bottle. Works great, and no funnel required to refill this one either. No leakage around the cap because you don't need to invert it.

For nic (PG base), I use a setup like this 2-oz LDPE bottle with Luer Lock cap and 14-gage dispensing needle. One squeeze gives about 1 gram delivery and gravity-only flow is about 0.1g /second. Easy to use.

because you want glass it makes it difficult but you can prolly just use some sort of drill bit and stick a hose adapter in there? that'd be my suggestion

hot sauce

perfume dispensers (no dripper.)

some kind of bottle holder (all of these are too small for unicorns, but the little glass 30mls might fit)

I just went through this myself and am very happy with my purchases. This is a complete entry level set with the tools you will need to maintain it. Assuming you're US based, you could have everything Monday with Prime shipping.

  • Airbrush - $27 - This is a basic brush with the ability to change between 0.2, 0.3(most common), and 0.5mm tips. This gives you the flexibility to go from precise to blanket applications.

  • Compressor - $120 - I opted for a model with a tank to help regulate the air output. The compressor still ends up running most of the time during extended applications so I'm not sure how much it helps but I didn't want to take chances. You could save ~$40 by getting a model without a tank. You could always add a tank later if you feel the need.

  • Cleaner - $12 - You need this before you even think about starting. One cleaner seems about as good as another so pick whatever.

  • Tools - $7 - You will need to clean paint from the internals. Some of these brushes will work for that. There seems to be differing opinions in the community over how useful these are but I opted for them and use them every so often.

  • Cleaning Pot - $15 - You will need one for your station and everyone uses this one. Definitely spray the cleaner through into this.

  • Wash Bottle - $6 - 500 mL bottle you fill with water. This will allow you to rinse the pot at your station without having to go to a sink (though you still might use one often). Get a bucket or tupperware container to rinse into.

This will allow you to setup a bare-bones station. You could also get a fume hood or just spray into a box in a well ventilated room. Get a good white led light (if you don't have on already) to illuminate your workspace and you're good to go.

Honestly, don't. Skip any starters as they are all generally over priced. Just buy things separately.

I don't think I've seen either the new OTB nor the conversion kit available for sale yet, just preorder. Where did you find it?

If you just want petri dishes, amazon has them for like $5 for a pack of 10. The expansion, however, is worth getting just for the extra challenges.

u/Rec0de · 1 pointr/DIY_eJuice

After reading thru this site, here is my shopping list:

  • 500ml, 100Mg/ml Supercritical Nicotine/USP PG (CXTC)
  • Peach Colorless Flavor Concentrate by LA (4oz) (Wizard Labs)
  • Vegetable Glycerin USP
  • Gloves, Flasks, Syringes, Bottles

Going for a 70pg/30vg blend, just need to track down a good e-juice calculator from the sidebar.

Personally prefer them over the pipettes.
EDIT: And thanks for all the help/ advice. I really appreciate it.

u/Arturos · 1 pointr/minipainting

I didn't have empty paint bottles, so I bought these from amazon. Also some small funnels made the transfer a lot easier.

The labels you can actually just peel off and put directly on the new bottles. The adhesive transfers just fine. It is indeed the easiest part of the process.

I don't know the answer to your question, as I don't have this expansion. However, I purchased these dishes to use with my base game and regret not getting bigger ones. They are just barely big enough to hold all of the cubes of each color and even with some cubes on the board they're still too small to easily get your fingers into for more cubes. They also don't stay closed in the box what-so-ever. I have to rubber band them.

For the 15ml glass bottles ill use for testing, and

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D1GV8LU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

for the plastic 30ml drippers. It wasn't to bad on cost but I'll probably end up getting dropper tops for the glass bottles farther down the line. For the $20-$27 the local B&M charges for 30ml bottles 6-10 good DIY 30ml will cover my cost dollar wise and I need something to do in my free time or i might start up another planted aquarium which get more expensive quickly.

u/MuddyFudgesicle · 0 pointsr/gadgets

Fuck Keurigs! Just buy an AeroPress. It's so much cheaper per cup, is practically self cleaning, and makes better coffee. You can make it as strong as you want, and can even make espresso ("coffee concentrate" if you want to be very technical.) And you can use whatever coffee you want!

Rather than spending all that money on a fancy brewer, and then $1 per cup of coffee, buy a Zojirushi Boiler (or similar), and you can make coffee nearly as fast as with a Kurig. I don't mean within 15 seconds, but so short that you won't hesitate to make a cup. Or you can just nuke some water in a Pyrex measuring cup, but that takes 2-3 minutes.

I own that exact boiler and an AeroPress, and it's amazing. I have 195° water on tap all of the time, and the 4 qt one is tall enough to dispense right into an AeroPress on top of a tall mug.

I even use an AeroPress at work at my desk even though there's a Keurig available. I get hot water from the water dispenser (combo water cooler/heater that work provides), use the AeroPress normally, push the grounds into the waste basket, then wash the remaining grounds off of the plunger with a chemistry wash bottle right into the waste basket, too. (There's a trash bag in it, and it's not much water.)

u/livelaughloveeat · -2 pointsr/MakeupSubdivide
