I have this Korean red pepper powder (like this) and sprinkling that on gives it an awesome kick!

I also grate gouda into it. I have a little fox grater and I just buy some smoked gouda from the fancy cheese section, cut off the rind, and grate some of it right into the eggs. The fox makes me happy in the morning ^ . ^

If I'm feeling even more gourmet, I'll chop up some green onions to stir in.

It honestly only takes a few minutes, but makes my morning so much better.

Yeah! A rotary grater.

This is the closest to what I have currently: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077BPNS17/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_a6mwDbNFD2YBS

Here is a commercial grade extra coarse grater that is excellent. My cousin has this one, but $25 for a grater is too much for me to swallow. So I went with this grater that makes fat, wide shreds, and will do "chips" when grating the short ends of cheese blocks.

I'm sure you could find a square mandolin attachment, but if you want a regular grater, this has a side that does square cuts:

The ceramic or plastic ones sometimes come with the little triangles. Here's an example.

Lasagna is great, also recommend it. Chopped broccoli or Morning Grillers burgers make a good meat substitution in the sauce. Just got this a month ago and it makes zucchini into spaghetti. So yummy!!

My other go to is tofu taco salad. Crumble and pan fry tofu in taco seasoning and a little water. I keep this in the fridge and reheat when ready to eat. Plate of lettuce topped with sour cream, salsa and mexican cheese then top with heated taco tofu.

Sorry no slow cooker ideas here.
Cheers!

I have the original Zyliss press which I really like. (Now in it's third rev.) Not a fan of a microplane for garlic or ginger. But this type of porcelain grater works well: Amazon

Best thing you'll ever buy on keto. Father in law does keto and they came over for a gathering and ordered one when he saw mine. They were so impressed with it, he gifted all his kids with one over Christmas. Easy to use, clean and rices a whole head in less than 3 minutes. Has other attachments to do your onions and garlic etc. Jack of all trades staple piece of equipment.

> Way, way simpler, though. I did the same thing when I made breakfast burritos this weekend. Baked the tots and fried the sausage the night before to get them browned, then reheated them together in a skillet before using as filling.

buy one of these and it's not much simpler...

also, this thing is amazing for making mirepoix for soup.

This is my new favorite. I used to have a big Pampered Chef mandoline and a box grater, both of which I avoided using because they were a pain to use/clean. This is all in one with a bonus spiralizer. It takes up way less space and is super easy to clean.

fresh zest is best and the bitter could be from your zester getting too deep into the pith. this is the white part under the skin. mybe try a new zester

Just be aware they are VERY SHARP! they can take off your acrylic nails pretty quickly. I know from experience. LOL! No I didn't serve that food to anyone it went in the trash!

but this will take the top layer off of the citrus (zest) without any of the pith as long as you don't push too hard. and they will be little pieces of zest so you don't get a mouthful of strong lemon flavor

I used this (a hand grater) a lot as I much prefer the fresh cauli, and the frozen stuff just seems too large but then I got one of these and it has saved my fingers (I shred my fingers often..) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073PW8DM9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I used the drum with tiny holes. There are probably ones like it in most stores that sell kitchen equipment.

I use a grater for my ginger that grates just a bit larger than a microplane.

This one to be exact. I'll finely mince it sometimes too but the grater is faster.

A micro microplane, if you will? This one is 3oz: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L9AXKA6/ref=psdc_289813_t1_B01L9AS9DY
