We found 60 of those Mardi Gras cake mixes that have the plastic baby in them at a Kroger in Dallas for $1.00 each. Bought all of them, sent them to Amazon and sold every one of them for 19.99 each. Grocery store hits for us are few and far between, but when they hit, they hit hard.

edit to add a link.

In a pinch, mix a package of cream cheese, 2 tbsp of peanut butter, 1 tbsp coconut oil and swerve powdered sugar to taste. Roll most of it into balls and refrigerate and then eat some warm like a filthy heathen because it's fucking awesome. I know you said you want to buy it but that takes less time than going to the store.

Also, I buy this stuff a lot. Sooooo good, albeit a little on the sweet side.

If you looked you could probably find the ones with raspberry filling. I’m just too lazy to do more than a quick google search.

Nope, the Hostess workers agreed to a pay cut. The corporate raiders didn't want to cut a deal. You should move out here, you might learn a thing or two.

Here, buy some Twinkies.

So since everyone has pretty much said all there is to say about what you did - i can offer some alternatives.

  • Fat bombs - i make some with artificial sweeteners and some without - make some - seriously they will be life savers. I personally love the taste of peanut butter and so i bought PBFIT - it tastes JUST like peanut butter - 2 tablespoons for 65 cals. I find coconut fat bombs easy to make without sweetener bc i love the taste of coconut - they usually turn out high in fat (which is super filling for me) and low - zero carb.

  • Low carb snacks -
  • seaweed chips (fucking gross to me but im told the herbed ones are good)
  • Cheese chips - cheese in chip form - you'll think you are in heaven
  • Recently purchased These delicious things I know - lots of sugar alcs - but it's erythritol which is not supposed to have an insulin response or put you in a situation where you can't trust a fart (a very important thing when considering sugar alternatives)
  • Pecans - these are the gods of nuts - seriously filling (calorie dense so take care) 1oz = 195 cals with about 1g of carb (4 carbs - 3 fiber - 1 net)

If you prepare properly you can 'gorge' a bit. On shark-week i kind of loosen my calories and as long as i stick to under 20-25g of carbs a day - i call it a win.

yes, if you wanna spend $5.09 per package plus shipping

I found it cheaper on this site ($1.39 ea plus shipping) I guess

Your best bet is to look for it at an asian grocery store. That's where I buy mine. I think I pay something like $1.50 per package, I think.

The asian grocer in my city has two locations and this snack food is constantly 'on sale' at the one farthest from where I live, but I'll go there anyway to save a few bucks because I buy 6 packs at a time :p

They're usually on a shelf/rack with other "TOFU CAKE" vegan jerky snacks. Some of them are pretty gross, tbh. The pressed & marinated tofu cakes are chalky. Those fried soy tube things marinated in chili oil are disgusting, imo. The tofu cake that's on a skewer is ok, but you dont get much for the price so skip it (i cant find a photo of it now, but you'll see what i mean)

Hey! but since you're already at the asian supermarket I'd like to recommend you buy some tofu with asian language markings because it's probably super delicious compared to the brine soaked shit you get at Kroger or Safeway. ALSO, check the prices on vegetables because stuff like bell peppers, cabbage, eggplant, ginger, garlic, leafy greens are all cheaper there. ALSO, do yourself a big favor and buy some Lao Gan Ma chili oil because that shit is fucking delicious and you'll never want to eat Sriracha or Cholula again. You'll find any excuse to eat LGM Chili Oil, even if it's just dunking some tofu into the jar, or alternating between a bite of a Veggie Delight Subway sandwich and a spoonfull of LGM Chili Oil. There's only 94.25 calories per Tbs, so it's just like drinking a bottle of Coors Aspen Edge with every bite. I'd rather have the chili sauce than the beer, tbh.

nomalicious! This wheatgerm honey cake looks divine, and should be fine for you to try! Restrictive diets can be such a pain, I'm glad that a lot of companies have popped up to cater for people who can't have certain stuff.

Anyhoo, I have a whole wish list for food and drinky things, as well as some kitchenalia on my other lists. I'd be happy with anything :D

Currently a "lightning deal" on some of them on amazon. Not many varieties in stock though. as /u/blamdin said there was a store on central but it's closed, don't think there are any other options around.

I've seen some that looked similar to the one in your photo at Asian grocery stores.

Well, actually, the chips I like are from Ireland - so awesome and yes they have Salt & Vinegar!

These chips are from the UK and they are AWESOME!

Also, love these! They are crispy hoops in several flavors. Love them all :D

Yes, add all the chocolate to your wishlist!! I've received several of the packs, including this one. It's amazingly good!

These cookies, are SO good! and so are these!
