Full disclosure: A bit of color matching was done on this photo. The watch is a cheapo I got to test drive the whole wood watch thing with plans to upgrade if I dig the look. I do not. I used to have a silver Sig P238 with rosewood grips that would have been sexy here, but I didn't dig that either. I do dig the Benchmade a great deal. The surefire is ok.

I didn't believe you but lo and behold here they are on Amazon selling quarters for $10. There literally is a million ways to make a buck in the US.

No problem. It's 4 7/8" x 3.5" and just over 1/2" thick when fully loaded with 3 cards in the slots, 2 extra cards in the pocket under the notebook, and 5 bills in the left pocket.

I carry front pocket sometimes. It's slightly bigger than a lot of standard wallets, but still rides well. I could see it being a bit big for tighter pants. But I'm used to a passport wallet in the front pocket, so this is a lot better.

My goal was to get the smallest package I could that had the note taking functionally and could hold a pen, 5+ cards, and some cash.

I got inspired by the Trucker's Hitch wallet, which looks amazing, but has a higher price

Better fit and finish and better leather from what I can see, but less functionality. Mine is like a quarter inch taller, but has the 3 card slots rather than 1. I'll still probably buy the Trucker's Hitch one day :). I'm a sucker for quality leather

Find a small metal tin that will fit in there. I've seen a mentats tin that looks like an altoid tin that might fit, and would add to the whole Fallout theme. Link:

I think this is it.

And here's a few other options.

I would empty out your pockets in front of you. Then start adding items in your pockets that you absolutely need for your day or trip.

Unless you stay at home all day you probably need:

  • Keys ---> unless you have a number pad or something for your home
  • Wallet or combination of ID cards + maybe a few bills
  • phone

Anything else is probably extra. That being said I carry a bag almost everywhere to carry a few other items.

In my pockets I always have:

  • wallet
  • phone + headphones
  • lip balm
  • keys

check out Every Day Carry for some ideas. You might benefit from a [case] ( like this to organise your things.

I bought this recently. Possibly the steal of the century. $10.99 and Prime shipping. The one I got was natural veg tanned full grain leather for the same price, but I can't find the listing. The quality is incredible. Don't let the price fool you.
