I use Dr Bronners for this purpose. Super happy with them, and they come in travel size bottles. Or buy a big one for better value and refill a small bottle.

Probably the same as this stuff: https://www.amazon.ca/Bubble-Foam-Soap-Extra-Gentle/dp/B0024HB9FW

Every cleaner in the world would pull off the just-then applied dirt they added. Heck with decent pressure on the hose you don't even need soap.

My son wouldn't let me put that on him. You can buy special buckets with one side softer to pour water easier. Similar to this
I still use it as a bucket to rinse shampoo from my toddlers hair.

My husband is uncircumcised. He uses soap. In 30 years he's never had any problems. Wash with soap. If you're worried about the type of soap to use then I recommend Dr. Bronner's baby mild castille soap: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000HJXQ9G/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1396295296&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40

Something like this may be a better option:

I have not had a major attack of anxiety in about, idk, 3 years? I have been pretty good about coping strategies and whatnot but the idea of going to a temp agency today for one reason or another set it off big time...I plan to make up for it by doubling down on my online job search, and by going tomorrow morning. Was a good shave and helped take the edge off a few clicks...hopefully this doesn't happen again tomorrow.

This! It's an amazing cup that is rubber-like on the side. It allows you to pour water like a cup but without getting water or shampoo in their eyes.

u/otterland · 3 pointsr/wicked_edge

Got any kids around? Get them some play shaving cream and let them use it in the bath as a toy and don't throw twenty bucks of labor at a worthless broken thing.

u/carrboneous · 3 pointsr/Judaism

Fybogel (Ispaghula husk powder), has become popular enough that the Beth Din here specifically permits it. I think it's certified by the LBD.

u/BritDillinger · 2 pointsr/randomgifts

Oh my goodness, this thread is beautiful. This whole subreddit made me cry last month when a very gracious individual gifted my family and I the car seat I posted from our baby registry. I will be using that lovely thing any day now and I am absolutely elated. I have the wonderful people of Reddit to thank for that.

-

The number one thing I can think of needing right at the moment would be diaper wipes from my list. We were gifted a box of newborn diapers last month, so the baby probably won’t need to go into Size 1 too soon! I'm really hoping I pop sometime soon, though. My due date is this Friday and I just can't believe it!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and had an amazing New Year~

I have crazy dry skin, too. My dermatologist told me once he could write me a prescription for a special face wash ... or I could just get this. Obviously I went the cheaper route, and it's really worked well.

So firstly, I HAVE to shave in the shower- I think my skin only gets soft and pliable enough to shave without hurting after I've been in steam for a while. I'm a girl but I use the "extra moisturizing" purple label Barbasol with Vitamin E in it now- I used to use this product from the brand Skintimates that had Vitamin E but also shea butter in it as well, and though it's targeted towards women, it REALLY works well for moisturizing so start with that! I also shave with a cream from Lush called "Ambrosia." This is it and it's great because it has oat milk in it, which REALLY prevents my skin from getting rough and bumpy from razorburn. Afterward, I use a Johnson & Johnson product with shea & cocoa butter in it to smooth my legs more, to keep from getting razor burn, and to prevent from getting stubbly longer. I think it all depends on what kind of skin you have- mine's combination, but on the dryer side, so I need a lot of products that have creams, milks, and butter lotions in them but with minimal fragrance because that causes irritation.

I think the hair removal cream you're thinking of is Nair- I wouldn't recommend it personally because it can burn your skin and it smells VERY strong and very much like rotten eggs/sulfur. I used it back when I very first started shaving my legs, and while it worked well and lasted a while, it ultimately wound up irritating my skin to the point where even wearing loose sweatpants burned. Everyone is different, though, so maybe it would work for you!

Also you might already know this, but clean your razor out with water while you're shaving because it'll take the buildup of hairs out and you'll get a closer, more even, less painful and less razorburn-y shave!

Ive had good results with the aquation cream and apply it right after bathing. Aquation Moisturizing Cream All Skin Types, 16 Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IWOHWFG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_I-B4CbFHHRZFS

I use this dove baby wash in the shower and avoid scrubbing with a loofah/pouf Baby Dove Wash, Sensitive Moisture, 20 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X3SD4VC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7.B4CbABS1JH6

I also like baby oil gel from time to time but many have fragrance, which isn't irritating to me with occasional use.

I have straight hair and my son (caucasion) has hair like your daughters, I think. Long and wavy/waving curly in the front with tight ringlets in the back. I have zero experience with curly hair 😳

I've tried a few things, I including OS curl calmer - which I didnt love.

Kiddo gets bathed every night, so we have to regulate how much his hair gets tended to. I try to go as long as I can between shampooing (every 3ish days) and conditioning 2/3 days. More or less.

My favorite products have actually been Sum Bum/Baby Bum. I wash with the shampoo and use the conditioner. We towel dab and the spray with the detangler before bed.

To do his hair I spray with a water bottle, hit it with the seaspray, comb/style, let it dry, and then lightly brush with a wide tooth comb to break up the curls.

His hair looks much more nourished and shiney with Sun/Baby Bum products than when ibwas using Original Sprout and California Baby Conditioner and Curl Spray.

Wow, that is interesting. Well, I hope the Accutane goes well.

Some other tips for you:
- Try taking MSM powder (mixed in with water, work your way up to 15g daily, stop taking at least 8 hours before bed). It really helps me. It shouldn't be an issue with Accutane.
- Take a Zinc supplement if you aren't already (use Labdoor to find a good one).
- Avoid the sun as much as possible. I drive with a visor on. Literally this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073WB185T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- Since you're avoiding the sun, you'll need a good vitamin D supplement. I take this with my salads: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BVIALG
- Use this website to make sure whatever moisturizer/skin products you're using are safe by entering the ingredient list in and having it analyze them: http://www.cosdna.com/eng/ingredients.php
- Use this cleanser; it works wonders for me: https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Bronners-Pure-Castile-Liquid-Soap/dp/B000HJXQ9G

Good luck. :)

I had the problem of it feeling greasy the day after. I tried the method of over conditioning but it just left it oilier than it started. But most shampoos also dried it out. A shampoo with a good balance I've found is Aveeno Gentle Conditioning Daily Shampoo. Essentially I needed something that would remove the oils but do it gently and this is perfect for that. You have to really work it into your hair to get a good lather, but it's worth it.

Get one of these and preferably some coconut oil, it's super efficient.

It is the best! It has solved like all of the problems I've had with my skin.
heres a picture of it (I've noticed that having pictures of the product I'm looking for can be helpful when I try to find it), and it can be found at most natural food stores. It is kinda spendy (I pay like $4 per bar), but it is so worth it in my opinion.

Also, based on what I've seen on this sub the two kinds I would recommend are unscented baby mild, or lavender. I've never tried anything but those, but I've seen a lot of comments about the other kinds not being as gentle.

u/vivaldi1206 · 0 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I have 10 ear piercings including a conch and the most effective thing I've found is straight up pure lavender essential oil. I heal pretty slowly and using a wet qtip (soaked with the oil) and dab all around the piercing. For me this massively reduced swelling, sped up healing, calmed redness and irritation, etc. With my first cartilage piercing (helix), it was very inflamed for about a year(!!) and within hours of putting lavender oil on, it halved in size and has never bothered me again (7 years later). Good luck ^_^

For cleaning, do not use salt water! The pH isn't good. The oldest piercing parlor in the country recommended the Dr Bronner's baby formula soap (https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Bronners-Liquid-Travel-Sized/dp/B00119Q8RI/ref=sr_1_18_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1518633376&sr=8-18&keywords=dr+bronners+baby) in the shower to gently rub around the area.
