We can't function without it. Tea first thing in the morning, and one last cup before bed. You'd offer to make some at work, to family, to friends, when there's good news and when there's bad news. In the office we have a rota on a spreadsheet of whose turn it is to buy the teabags. If we run out we'll steal some from another department. I went abroad for 4 months and took this with me:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yorkshire-Tea-One-Bags-Pack/dp/B013P1AGJ0

Occasionally referred to as a cuppa, usually just a cup of tea, or some tea or a pot if you're feeling fancy.

Tea is brilliant. It simultaneously picks you up when you need a boost and soothes you when you need a break.

I drink at least 6/7 cups a day. I love tea. This has been my ode to tea.

Tea.

I live in Germany too, and I bought a 1.5 kg bag of Yorkshire Tea on amazon.de last year for about 18 euros. At 600 one-cup teabags, it came out to 3 cents per teabag. The average prices in the UK are a bit lower (like maybe 2 cents per teabag), so maybe you could order from a seller at Amazon UK, but if you factor in shipping to Germany, it probably comes out to about the same...

For reference, I ordered this last year, and the company sent me this. The one-cup teabags look and taste the same as the standard ones, I found. But I wouldn't recommend ordering one of the big bags for more than 20 euros, because yeah, then it is definitely not a reasonable price.

Edit: Here we go! It seems like this seller ships to Germany for about 5 pounds. So 15 GBP for 480 teabags...you'd be saving a couple of euros, at least. :)

Kava , valerian root, Passion flower and chamomile teas are good. I personally use this and works a treat but can be sedating so I wouldn't recommend for day time use 7 blossom tea

u/Quixotic9000 · 6 pointsr/tea

>chamomile, ginger, cinnamon, apple pieces and natural flavors

How about the Stash version, seems quite close: https://www.amazon.com/Stash-Tea-Chamomile-packaging-Individual/dp/B003D4IYQC?th=1

Alternatively, consider brewing the Egyptian chamomile and a ginger tea together. Apple/ginger is a nice taste:

  2. Celestial Apple Ginger tea

I am just now having dandelion root tea for the first time, and it's delicious! Reminds me a lot of coffee, and I know that some people use it as a coffee substitute, which I may try someday... if I ever decide I want to quit. :)

I always have a cup at my buddies place and love it. Fuck it, I'm going to buy a gourd and order some Yerba right now.

Edit: these were his recommendations:

A properly made gourd will last all day.

Also, need a thermos or insulated coffee cup.

For a quick yerba here is a tea infuser. Its not as effective as traditional, but still does the trick for a quick fix. And you can make it in a coffee pot if you are making a large amount for whatever reason.

Passion Flower tea is great for anxiety and insomnia, so is Valerian.

But there’s a very rare and unheard of tea that I’m going to recommend to you called Butterfly Pea Tea! It’s a beautiful blue flower and has lots of health benefits!

Here’s a few links:

And here’s a link to make an awesome purple lemonade out of it!

I love tea (and coffee) too. But luckily I haven't gone off the deep end with either my tea or coffee habits. I've kept things simple and cheap. Electric water kettle and a small tea pot. My go-to tea is Twinings Earl Grey in the loose leaf form. It's a great smooth tea that I can drink all day.

I've recently started enjoying cinnamon teas, which is strange because I'm not really a fan of cinnamon. But I really loved this Pukka cinnamon tea--I just wish I could find a cheaper source.

u/jimmyrpm · 3 pointsr/cocktails

Hey ya’ll! I made some butterfly pea-infused gin and wanted to try it in a familiar cocktail. I went with the Corpse Reviver #2. Since it turns from blue to pale pink (like warning a frozen body), why not “Reviving the Corpse.”

In the video above I show the mixing. Here is the finished drink: https://i.imgur.com/EfaiUHH.jpg

Here is my tasting analysis: https://i.imgur.com/DNEvFc9.mp4

Basically there a subtle floral taste that I really liked in the balance of the often overly-citric cocktail.

Corpse Reviver #2
3/4 oz gin (butterfly pea-infused, see below)
3/4 oz triple sec
3/4 oz dry vermouth (Lillet Blanc)
3/4 oz lemon juice
1 dash of Pernod (some people like a rinse, either is good)

Butterfly Pea-Infused Gin
In a vessel, pour in 1 cup of gin. I used Beefeater London Dry. Then add 5-8 butterfly pea flowers. Let sit one hour. Strain the gin into a new vessel, to remove the flowers. Make sure it’s air tight, store at room temp as with any gin.

Definitely with a try. The flowers are dirt cheap, there’s literally no reason not to try this. A fun party trick at the least.

The Tazo Iced Tea pitcher packs, the brand of tea that created Passion before we rebranded it as the Teavana version, is widely available. I've seen it at many department stores. Amazon is always a good channel, I've ordered it from there a couple times.

https://www.amazon.com/Tazo-Iced-Passion-Tea-Herbal/dp/B007VC9RN6/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=starbucks+passion+iced+tea&qid=1563996374&s=gateway&sr=8-17

u/LuckyShamrocks · 3 pointsr/MakeupRehab

I've used this one and this one from amazon. You just have to make sure it's actually all spearmint. A lot of store brands mix the mints, so check the back for that.

I have one cup a day. 1-2 tbsp is all you need for a big cup. Less if you're using a standard one, but mine are all giant Friends size lol.

I tried using an infuser, but always ended up with bits in my tea, so now I just use my ninja coffee maker with a filter for a single morning cup. You can make a whole pot and fridge it too if you'd prefer it cold. For me it replaced my morning coffee so it was easy getting into a habit with it.

u/echoskybound · 3 pointsr/tea

You can get decaf, but even decaf tea still contains some caffeine, and doesn't necessarily come in a large selection. If you want totally caffeine free you want herbal teas or tisanes, which aren't actually made from the tea plant at all. I love herbal teas, pretty much all of them are caffeine free (except for yerba mate or guayusa.)

Rooibos and honeybush are some good basic herbal teas, but here's a couple of my favorites herbals:

Teavana's Tranquil Dream, Capital Tea's Roasted Almond, Teavana's Rooibos Tropica, and some plain honeybush from Stash Tea

u/doublestop23 · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

You need to get the [Teavana Honeybush Vanilla Loose-Leaf Herbal Tea] (http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B007FRCYSM/ref=wl_it_dp_v_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3BOK8ENDS5ZGZ&coliid=I1F4NDGBAJECZZ&psc=1). Not only is tea amazing in general, but vanilla makes everything better. Not only that, Teavana doesn't use preservatives, so it's actually natural. Finally, even the name honeybush sounds delicious.

I'm just learning the joys of chronic migrains like headaches, so I plan on sipping this tea to help me relax. I've used flax for something this these before, but it just made a big mess with my poor sewing. I love the color orange or funk abstract or geometric patterns. Thanks for doing this!

u/sadmeal · 2 pointsr/eldertrees

Look into purchasing a carbon filter for your bong. Buy your carbon here or somewhere other than a smoke-shop to save a lot of money on replacing it.

You'll notice a much cleaner smoke in general You clean your bong less because no ash can get into your water, and even resin builds a lot slower- really slow if you do a quick dump+scoop of some new carbon after each smoke. I would say it brings out the flavor more.

Also it's a dry time of season and I need a humidifier on at all times lightly to avoid the coughs. Throat orientated teas mostly with licorice root that I like to drink while smoking.

I hope this helps.

u/itsalrightt · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

My add on item I need it because I love this tea. I need to start making it at home, so I can't stop buying Starbucks at school. Plus, the semester is coming to a close, and I won't have access to Starbucks anymore. I just can't ...I don't know, fly causal to school just for Starbucks in the summer.

u/TMWheelock · 2 pointsr/JoeRogan

Tim Ferris recommended this tea:
https://www.amazon.com/Yogi-Bedtime-Caffeine-Soothing-Caramel/dp/B005OS39W4

In his book "Tools of the Titans"

I suffer from bouts of insomnia and it's helped me a lot. Maybe give it a shot?

I also use this:
https://www.amazon.com/Traditional-Medicinals-Organic-Valerian-Relaxtion/dp/B007IW25FQ

Good luck! I'm doing sober October too!

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/Kombucha

> gs per gallon of water. I'm doing it again this time and my second ferment I'm mixing a couple bottles with ginger and a few more with strawberries to liven it up, though it was awesome without.

Oh that sounds nice and cheap! Is it organic?

As for the flavors - I found Amazon has some great stuff in terms of herbs. I'm sharing in case you or anyone else is interested:

2 suggestions - if you think herbal teas might be OK:

u/toramimi · 2 pointsr/feminineboys

Avoid added sugars. You want your body burning lean and clean, and sugar is just empty calories with no nutritional benefit. Read the ingredients: does it contain high fructose corn syrup? Read the nutritional facts: is the "added sugars" entry in the double digits? If the answer to either of these questions is "yes," just don't. Reducing sugar consumption is the place to start.

I could say, if it helps you get through the day, I could say, maybe just a little to treat yourself. This regimen is goal oriented, this is not a walk in the park, no half measures. You can either do the work and reach your goals or you can waste your time deluding yourself that you and you alone are able to defeat basic chemistry and biology and spin your wheels wondering why nothing is working. Increasing sugar intake leads to body weight gain, and sugar reduction leads to body weight loss, flat out.

You know what I love? Herbal tea! I buy bulk loose hibiscus, that shit's delicious and healthy! I drink it hot, people tell me they love it cold, you really can't go wrong! I make another blend, peppermint, raspberry leaf, and chamomile. Also, fucking delicious! And I don't add a single thing to it, no sugar no dairy, just hot water and plants.

While I certainly don't vouch for the effectiveness of a lot of the products from the natural cures category, I have found one that (based on my own experience) works surprisingly well:

https://www.amazon.com/Traditional-Medicinals-Gypsy-Herbal-Wrapped/dp/B0009F3POE

Officially, the government's position is that there has been some indication that it is effective, but more research is needed.

Switch to Roasted Dandelion Root tea. It still cleans you out, but much much muuuch less than coffee. It tastes like coffee and it's a super food. One of the healthiest things you can consume.

It tastes like a light coffee with a touch of peanut butter. Make it how you make your coffee. So if you add creamer to coffee, add creamer to the tea.

Enjoy!

u/maybe_little_pinch · 1 pointr/winemaking

Try Amazon. If you have a decent asian market near you, they sometimes have it as well. I get mine from a place in Portland, OR and it's wicked cheap there.

u/pronounced_kee-toe · 1 pointr/xxketo

I do the fruit infusion, too.

Last week I picked up this decaf berry tea sampler at the Safeway, and making a 3-bag pitcher with a packet of Truvia gets me a kool-aid-like beverage I can get motivated to drink.

u/poxteeth · 1 pointr/Indiemakeupandmore

Thanks! Traditional Medicinals makes a dandelion root tea, the Amazon reviews have many people's descriptions of the aroma/flavor. It's actually pretty good in a weird way.

I've bought way too much recently. If you decide you want to try it, I've got a sample on hand.

u/CaptainSquab · 1 pointr/GifRecipes

If you wanted the color I think you'd be better off brewing this tea instead. https://www.amazon.com/Butterfly-Pea-Blue-Flower-250g/dp/B00FV4BZW2

Oh man, twin, that sucks. My favorite "home remedy/herbal thingie" is Gypsy Cold Care tea. The link is a jumbo pack from amazon that I totally bought because I love it for when I'm sick. It's sold in individual packs at grocery stores and probably elsewhere online. I start drinking it when I feel a cold coming on. I seriously believe it helps reduce the intensity and duration of colds. And it makes my throat/sinuses feel better when I'm drinking it. AND it tastes good. I can't deal with throat coat tea. Makes me wanna hurl.

Also, I still really like Airborne for the vitamin aspect of it. And Emergen-C.

Oh, and if it's meds you're after, I stand by DayQuil liquid. It's gotta be the liquid. Shit works. The capsules are good, too, but the liquid works more efficiently (in my non-MD, completely layman's opinion).

I hope you feel better soon.

u/blessedbe · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I wouldn't necessary buy this since I can better use my money towards something else since it isn't something I needbut would be glad to receive it and use it for cocktails or gelatin or something fun, since the shape is open to ideas it'd be cool.

I would get myself yummy tea because of yumminess.

All my exes live in Texas, that's why I hang my hat in Tennessee. <-- truth

Thanks for the contest, Happy New Year! :)

u/Queen_of_Newts · 1 pointr/ftm

There's a tea by Traditional Medicinals called Throat Coat and it does me wonders when my throat is scratchy, either from T or illness. I drank a whole box in 3 weeks!

u/coffeebugtravels · 1 pointr/PCOS

I buy mine in a 1 lb package for about $15 plus shipping (US). It's cheapest to purchase loose leaf and just use a tea ball or tea diffuser.

[Here's] (https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Spearmint-Loose-Positively-Tea/dp/B00LPQXLGS/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485452867&sr=8-5&keywords=loose%2Bleaf%2Bspearmint%2Btea&th=1) the one I usually purchase. This will last me about 9-12 months (1 lb of loose leaf tea is a whole lot more than you realize!)

  1. From my perspective, you missed random postings by me to the daily thread. I did see a little drama in the daily one day, but I think it caught my interest for no good reason. Lots of new people!

  2. Um, to be honest, I saw you around from time to time over the last few days. I didn't comment, but I did notice a comment on the husband's day thread about your daughter's bday party -- how are you still going to pull that off after being sick? I, too, was sick, so you were probably here less than usual and that I did not notice because I, too, was here less than usual.

  3. I have missed everyone lately. For example, you, /u/allergictoapples, /u/missxjulia, /u/flyingfresian, /u/giggidywarlock. Actually, I don't know these people well but I don't think I know anyone here very well.

  4. one two three four tell the people what she wore! it was an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini!

  5. Tea for Colds. I used the same brand, but their "Throat Coat" tea while I was sick.

    Glad you are feeling better!!

Mate has more caffeine. My schedule is identical to yours and black tea just does not cut it. If you like coffee to be sweet I suggest going for Guayaki Chocolate Mate. Otherwise I really enjoy "Carnival Mate", I've seen nearly the same blend sold on different websites. Guayaki can be purchased in quite a few stores so if you don't want to buy it online that might be the easier option. All of the flavors the brand offer are pretty good.

Also, sorry if this is TMI but if you need the drink to help move things along digestively Mate is better for that as well.

u/Pissed_Off_Sub · 1 pointr/xxfitness

Seconding the Guayaki "Mate Chocolatte"! I haven't done this in a long while, but I used to use it as a base; infused some almond-coconut milk with the tea and added chocolate-flavored liquid stevia to make delicious "hot chocolate" on the stove. :)

Online shopping friend! No driving around looking for items, just search, check reviews, order, and the item eventually shows up at your door. Niche items are such a pain to shop for locally. Assuming you're in the U.S. anyway, even better if you have Amazon prime. Ebay is another option. Just a quick search and I found this:

If chamomile was recommended to her for sleep purposes, she may want to check out this tea. I've read a bit about night time teas. IIRC, none of the ingedients in night-time teas are supported by rock-solid scientific evidence (shouldn't be a red flag - its hard to do), but passionflower and valerian do have some evidence behind them. the tea linked has both ingredients.
