I bought a three pack of these packets (not this ten pack) after I was hanging outside more with friends who smoked, and noticed them occasionally tossing butts. These are a really good way to break the habit if you do want to be more mindful. These worked great as what I bought, but I'm sure any other with similar ratings would work just as fine.

I got these from Amazon. They look ok, but I might try building a wooden stand or something. If you touch these, they tend to fall off the stand and cause a domino effect. If they're going on a shelf and you won't touch them often, it's probably a good buy. If they're within reach of a 6 year old, I'd recommend something sturdier.

Maybe you smoke so much that you can't smell it anymore, but an extinguished cigarette smells SO much nastier than just a lit one. Fuck that.

Cigarette butts are biodegradable, but I still prefer to toss em properly when I can, so I usually try to carry a smell-proof portable ashtray.

I got a box of these little cigarette butt pouches that do a nice job of keeping the ashy stank out. If I was out somewhere without a trash can nearby I’d just keep the butts stashed in my back pocket and usually need to wash them after. These little pouches help a ton and they’re pretty cheap.

I bought these, then I mixed some water, food colouring gel, and citric acid and eye dropper-ed it in. Then I dipped the cork in super glue and let it dry. I did that so the liquid wouldn't soak through the cork and discolour it.

Theeen I melted some sealing wax, dipped the cork in that and put it in the bottle and dripped (kinda) some more wax around the cork!

This is all it is.

The metal plate goes inside the first book (ie, inside the cover). That holds the first book, then the others just sit up against it. It helps if you have something you can put the books up against on the other end so they don't slide (like a wall or bookshelf end).

The one I got is just a plastic shelf that is held on with those foamy sticky strips.

Unfortunately the rest was scrap that I had been hoarding. I salvaged that M3D mini frame from the garbage, the red UV blocking Polycarb was salvaged off of a broken laser cutter, the handle and hinge were from the junk pile (but could easily be printed), and the rest was stuff I had lying around (wire, tin foil, electrical tape, glue). You can buy uv resistant polycarb from amazon and for the case many people use small boxes or buckets like the lixhult from IKEA or a paint bucket for which they make a clear lid.

These hard boiled egg molds are probably the most interesting thing I have on my list in that price range. Heart shaped eggs are definitely weird things.

Most fun I had today was probably chatting with my little sister, introducing my infant daughter to fresh puréed blueberries from the backyard, and reading my eldest a chapter of one of my favorite childhood novels before bedtime.

correct, my process is: detach from plate into ipa bath #1, pick up and brush in bath with paintbrush to remove excess resin, bring over to waste bin, clip supports, wet sand base / areas to touch up, dip in ipa bath#1 again and paintbrush off any more excess resin exposed by removing supports and produced during wet sand, then final dip and paintbrushing in ipa bath #2 to ensure as little resin remains on the mini as possible.
in all honesty, after this process the model looks and feels clean and not tacky at all so unsure if it even needs a final cure, but i do it anyway, about 5-15 minute in my pot

I coated a trashcan I got at a local store with these LEDs and it only cost me about $30. I flip the can over top of the print and plug it in and you can even add a mini turntable to assist in everything getting exposed as well.

Something like this looks nice. I have a similar shelf from ikea that uses screws instead of command strips that i really like. This will be non damaging though. I read briefly in the reviews that you should buy velcro command strips instead of the ones they provide if you plan on hanging something that isn’t super light (like records)

There are some 3M command shelves. They're quite small and hug the wall pretty closely to avoid leverage against the adhesive.

If you want anything bigger than that then you're putting holes in the wall. Pro-tip: rub some paste wax or something slick on the edge of the shelf that's going to be making contact with the wall. Makes it much less likely that it sticks to the paint and pulls the paint off the wall when you go to remove it.
