Its name appears to be Sir Perky novelty bottle stopper.
What about this?
It's a stopper/sealer for sparkling wines and champagnes.

It may not stay on with standard wine bottles since they don't have an annulus. The annulus is the ridge on the outside of the neck that holds the muselet, the wire cage holding the cork.

The stopper wings have bit bent inwards to hold onto the annulus.
OK, this is $7.50, but I found mine for $3 - it's really good, and I drink a LOT of wine and have used a LOT of different stoppers.
If you're in love with stainless steel, this one is excellent
The only reasons I would go with the first one over the second, is because it's easier to put on the bottle and easier to open and pour with.
You know what's really awesome? A banana wine stopper. IT'S A BANANA. I'm kind of banking on you maybe being a fan of wine like I am. But, it's probably the coolest thing on my WL.
Just get something like this if you're going to be drinking partial bottles of wine: https://www.amazon.com/Flex-Seal-Rubber-Wine-Bottle-Stoppers/dp/B00INB52N8
Amazon sells a not nearly as cool but a whole lot cheaper Samurai bottle stopper if you are interested
I store my coffee as beans, grinding it as I need it to make espresso.
When I buy my beans, I use a Foodsaver to vacuum seal and then freeze them until I need some.
When I take out my frozen beans, I put them into a glass mason jar that I added a wine vacuum sealer to the top, to keep them under vacuum in a dark cabinet. I keep a few days worth of beans in my grinder.
I use these little guys to get all the air out of the bottles to prevent oxidation. I drink pretty slowly, so I like to slow down the evolution of the bottles after they've been opened; removing the air from them after opening helps with this tremendously.
I keep some of these on hand for failed corks. Very good seal and they don't look ridiculous on my bottles.

Hi Raynebeaux!
All righty, let's get down to business to defeat the Huns, er, your Arbitrary shopping needs.
First up, we have listed a lovely [wine stopper] (http://www.amazon.com/Collection-Eiffel-bottle-stopper-favors/dp/B004AMS1D2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1371010030&sr=8-6&keywords=Paris) in the shape of the Eiffel Tower.
Perhaps if the mademoiselle or monsieur has an iphone, a special Paris [case] (http://www.amazon.com/Design-Series-Eiffel-Plastic-Iphone/dp/B006XKXT4U/ref=sr_1_43?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1371010263&sr=8-43&keywords=Paris) will be of interest?
Or perhaps an eiffel tower [cookie cutter] (http://www.amazon.com/EIFFEL-TOWER-PARIS-COOKIE-CUTTER/dp/B005G87JUK/ref=pd_sim_hg_15)?!
Moving on to other themed gift possibilities, this [little guy] (http://www.amazon.com/Despicable-Deluxe-8-Inch-Figure-Stewart/dp/B003UL4GOW/ref=sr_1_155?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1371011186&sr=8-155&keywords=disney+stuffed+animal) seems like a winner- not only Disney and stuffed animal, but adorable and easily at home with someone interested in electronic tinkering.
This [add-on cup] (http://www.amazon.com/World-Warcraft-KilJaeden-Collectible-Cup/dp/B00BHMPY2E/ref=sr_1_2?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1371012254&sr=1-2&keywords=world+of+warcraft) is WOW themed and may be a fun small detail.
Here are a couple things =D

run get a #6 rubber stopper from your LHBS, or order from smile.amazon.com. Get 2 since it'll fit either one and doesn't depend on the thread.
Yes I use these for secondary fermentation/clearing. You can see if you stalk my post history. I use a 2 gallon bucket for primary fermentation. I believe the size stopper to fit the 1 Gallon (4 liter) bottles is a #6 bung.
Edit: use these Drilled Rubber Stopper #6 (Set of 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFD9VSE/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_fXuZub0JM4F13
Thanks for the contest!!!😊
Hard decision! I looove Seth Rogen and James Franco movies... like, ALL of them lol but I’ve lived in Austin for the last decade, so I also really love Dazed and Confused!! I’d probably have to say that one, though 🤙🏽
alright, alright, alright pickle bottle stoppers lol
You are correct, it's a bottle stopper.
I have two of these lying around the house "just in case".

besides freezing in 1-cup portions, there's a new stopper gadget on the market called Repour that supposedly counteracts the affects of oxidation on wines. Mixologist buddy who works at a tapas /small plate joint uses it on their wines and says its cheaper & more cost-effective than those argon-gas systems sold at Costco. It's not for long-term storage, but rather for bottles that you'll finish off within a couple weeks.
Whaat seriously?? I'm a vet student! Techs are THE BEST, we love them.
Happy birthday, /u/plungerwhisk! Since you, like me, love both animals and wine, there are two amazing things on my list suited for both of us! The first is both useful and cute, as keeping your wine fresh (and gnat-free) is a must. The second is equally adorable, and very helpful for keeping yourself sorted when entertaining!
I hope you have a lovely birthday! This is such a cute contest!
You need a s'mores maker!
And LEGO slippers!
This crime scene tape is pretty rad.
And this guy :D
Plus the coolest bottle opener ever.
Thank you for the contest!
I love that combo as well. The wenge and maple looks pretty good as well.
