After an hour + of googling every variation and combination of words such as " metallic, clip, clamp, bracket, brace......" I finally fucking found it on amazon and available for prime. Metal tool clip were the word that brought forth this glorious result.

u/JeSuisUnAnanasYo · 19 pointsr/CozyPlaces

These are the lights I used

The wire is really thin, so I was able to use these command strips with a clear backing every few feet.

u/TheWoman2 · 9 pointsr/legaladvice

It looks exactly like a Command hook. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0753NHZVQ

OP, If I'm right, they are easy to remove and reattach later before moving out. You would have to buy a new sticky strip for it.

u/rasfert · 8 pointsr/techsupport

This is the best solution. Buy a bunch of Command Hooks and do a neat job, and your landlady probably won't mind.

u/TanMango · 6 pointsr/malefashionadvice

They're adhesive hooks similar to these.

I have these for our brick fireplace and hold great!

Or this, so you don't have to see it.

I love stuff like this! I'm not an expert, but these are my ideas:

Pic 1 - Well it looks like there are a lot of books on the floor, and some space on the shelf. Throw away or donate the books/other stuff that you don't think you or the kid will ever read/use (or books/stuff that you haven't read/used in a long ass time that don't really mean anything to you anymore). Get a tiny safe for important papers, and get a manila or twin pocket folder for other papers. Put the folders on top of the safe. Put toys in the kid's room. Throw away those bags. If you have a hallway closet or a garage or something, put all the other stuff (coil springs box, guitar case, etc) in there. If not, just place it against the wall in as nice and neat a way as possible.

Pic 2 - Get a little net [like this] (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51v8nyM7ejL._SY300_.jpg) for the stuffed animals and maybe something like this for the other toys.

Pic 3 - You could get a tiny little laundry or knick knack basket for the dog's toys when you're not using them. As for the tv and (PC?) Organize the cords and zip tie them. Get those Command hooks or something like this to hang up coats/jackets/bags by the front/back door. You can get a little round basket for chapstick/hand sanitizer/lighters. The keys might look nice one of these hooks or you can put it with the lighters, etc.

Pic 4 - Not really a big deal. You seem to be fine right there.

Pic 5 - Find something like this for all the stuff sitting on the island thing. Put it against the wall in the place that looks best. You can get something like this for the apples and other fruits/vegetables that you don't want to put in the fridge.

Pic 6 - Do you not have a closet? If so, put the laundry basket at the bottom of your closet if you don't want it sitting out. If not, you can get something like this.

If money is an issue, just try to do as much as you can and then deal with the rest by stacking nice and neatly.

Or these command strip flat cord
The strip threads through perfectly.

u/effemelle · 4 pointsr/crochet

Love my Denise Interchangeable set, I rarely use them for Tunisian since I haven't put the time into learning anything beyond tss, but they're my go-to hooks for pretty well every project.

u/somewhatstaid · 3 pointsr/Showerthoughts

Get one of those over-the-door things with lots of hooks. I hang it on the outside of my closet door so that I check it before I go for clean clothes. Also good for the inside of the bedroom door.

These look about the same size. Slightly different shape, but very close. They might work. Good luck!

u/renyhp · 3 pointsr/BottleCapCollecting

These are the ones I used. It's also a very cheap way for not having the collection in a drawer :)

Also if it's a shared bathroom, hooks on the back of the bedroom door so they can keep their towels in their room but hang them up to dry.

Unfortunately, I don't have a suggestion for a wifi card, but why not route an Ethernet cable over the door frames? You can use these 3M Command Strips to hang it on the wall without using nails or other methods that would ruin the wall/paint.

u/SassySSS · 3 pointsr/crochet

First of all Kim Guzaman's Video Tutorials are indispensable. They helped me so much in the beginning. I agree with both /u/I_heart_DPP and /u/boyd121 that you should definitely work up a small swatch and start with that just to get the hang of the "simple" stitch. I then recommend making a smaller project like a scarf or dishtowels to get your tension down. You can use a regular crochet hook with a hair tie wrapped around the end as a "stopper" until you get the hang of it.

A few key points of Tunisian Crochet:

1.) Always try to start your project with the Tunisian Purl Foundation Stitch this will help alleviate the "curl" that can occur with Tunisian crochet.

2.) Use a hook at least 1 but more likely 2-3 times larger than the size recommended by the weight of the yarn you are using.

3.) The width of your project should not exceed 3 times the length of your hook. For example, if you want to make an afghan that is 3 feet wide your hook+cable needs to be at least 12 inches long.

For me, this technique is much faster. I made this Tunisian Watercolor Scarf in a couple of days. It's super fast once you get in the groove. :-D

Once you practice a bit and feel like you want to try a larger project (i.e. afghan) I recommend something like this simple (yet beautiful) Tweed Blanket as it incorporates a few techniques to challenge yourself and move beyond the simple stitch, including color changes, to keep things interesting.

I love my Denise Interchangeable Tunisian hooks. I bought a few supplemental cables from ebay for really large projects in 25", 40" and 60" lengths. They slide through the stitches like buttah' and the cables attach strongly and easily.

I hope this helps! Happy Hookin' :-D My inbox is always open if you have any questions.

I had a similar contest and the suggestions were awesome.... you definitely needs something like This

thanks for contest

To run ethernet cables throughout my home without wiring through the walls, I used Command Decorating Clips to attach different length Jadaol Cat6 white, flat ethernet cables (e.g., this 100 feet model) to the walls and ceilings. I separated each clip by about 2 feet. Small, simple (unmanaged) gigabit ethernet switches (I have a few of this model, which is about the size of a human hand) provide access points throughout the network while connecting each cable. Guests only notice the entire setup when I specifically mention it to them.

You might be interested in an over the door coat rack with multiple hooks. I do the same thing with hanging sweatshirts and jackets on the back of my door.

u/ghostnet · 2 pointsr/battlestations

I bought these http://www.amazon.com/Command-Medium-Clips-Clear-4-Clip/dp/B0084M696A they come in 3 sizes depending on how many cords you need to run and how thick the cords are.

u/purebredginger · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

You have absolutely NO idea how much you will need these. Every time I went to Walmart with the parents, I stocked up. Congrats! Would you like a falafel with that?

Here's a link:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OABXY9O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I cut out 2 areas for the filters. It works great for keeping all the fish and snails in while also allowing my lights to fully hit the tank. Other people make frames out of screen window kits but I'm not handy enough to use a power saw so I secured the mesh to my tank with command strips:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000M3YGHS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and just lift areas/corners of the mesh off when I need to access that part of the tank.

Command hooks. They're basically tape attached to a hook and if your wall is primed properly, it won't take off the paint when you remove them.

Ahhhh these are my favorite things to encounter!!!!!! A few things I love as a stanky lady on playa (in case you care)

  • poo-pourri. Maybe buy 10ish and just restock if they are commandeered?
  • dry shampoo
  • spray deodorant
  • lavender wipes to go

Another BIG one I would love to see -- why not also decorate a cool, small trash bin for people to put their wipes into? The wipes are not supposed to go into the potty hole, but time after time again I see them in there when I look into the hole. What I imagine is that someone didn't know, brought it into the porto, used it to wipe their poo-poo, & see the signs but are now like "well shit what do I do?" So maybe having a place for their wipes would help this!? It will be gross for you but just strap on those rubber gloves baby!

I'm assuming you are planning to come through every once and a while to check on your gift so maybe it can be a little daily :)

In terms of securing stuff, would it be kosher if you got a few of these bad boys and then tied the items to hang them?

I have no idea if this info is helpful but hope it is!! And hope I get to experience your porto gift!

the flat 3m hooks here are how I mounted all my lightstrips. Works perfect, fits snug but you can easily remove.

Or some zip ties. Hold ém to the underside of the desk with some of these. I used this combination for cable-managing the inside of my Antec 300; they work pretty well!

u/DranoCleanse · 1 pointr/declutter

I thought of flipping the top around, but the cord "tray" runs along the back, so having it in front won't do. Flipping the top over means I'm stuck with the big pilot holes on the other side. But I forgot about the binder clip idea! I'm thinking I can run just the laptop cable around to the left side of the desk and hold it up like that. Thanks, guys!

EDIT: Realized there is nowhere to clip a binder clip, but this did make me think to check out the Command product line. Amazon gave me these babies. Now to find $22 worth of stuff to fill up my cart.

u/crimsonskunk · 1 pointr/DIY

I use these hercules hooks. They leave a hole about the size of a small nail but you can hang quite a bit of weight from them.

I know you said no holes, but I wouldn't trust any adhesive to hold any significant amount of weight.

u/apollymipanthos · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

I use something like these and hang them in the shower to dry. You can get them at a local hardware store, Target, Walmart, etc. for pretty cheap. You just want them to dry all the way in between uses and this is the best way that I have found.

Honestly, the shapes and types don't matter that much because they all have worked the same for me. It's up to you which one you get. I pick up whichever is cheapest when I checkout as a small thing to throw in my cart.

I've use mine for 2-3 months. You'll see that the shape starts to deteriorate and it's not as smooth all the way around. That's when you'll want to throw it out. If you don't give your sponge a chance to dry all the way, you'll probably want to get rid of it sooner.

u/sirrelevant · 1 pointr/pebble

Allowed?

Are you, while showering, communicating with your broker with canned sms in pebble glance to buy/sell stock of the company you work for, based on info you get at work?

Are you using a remote camera control app to take pictures of said shower with other individual(s) without their knowledge?

Are you, during your cleansing routine, using pebble tasker and bittorrent to seed music and video files for which you are not the copyright holder and do not have express written consent?

Not allowed!

Seriously, just get these

This is pretty helpful, can put it on any door! Also under the bed storage is always great. Somewhere to put your mail and keys

u/Vagrant_Charlatan · 1 pointr/Vive

You bought these Lehigh ones, right? I bought them too but they seem way too small for the controllers. How did you mount them?

u/leanstotheleftabit · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

Gotta go with 3M hooks. They come in several different styles, like wire or jumbo.

I have a few lined horizontally across a wall. That's where I put cloth grocery bags or such. Easily accessible, but out of the way and organized.

If you only have one or two bags, put a big coat hook or this thing near the doorway and call it a day.

u/DannoHung · 1 pointr/Vive

I think the clips could probably be more cheaply purchased now that someone found them: https://www.amazon.com/Lehigh-13201-Organizer-Silver-Medium/dp/B0000DH4NK

I think getting a printer design for a better shoulder butt that fits into the metal pipe would be more useful.

And maybe some vive-wand bottom washers for the screws.

I hope I'm doing this right...

1 = This shelter will protect me from naughty UV rays and subsequent burns while I'm studying transfiguration on the beach.

2 = This figurine. I need it with me at school so I can remember where I came from and who I'm becoming a totally awesome witch for. :)

3 = My babes will appreciate these blocks to keep them occupied building their own Toyland while I'm at class.

4 = I need to hurry up and read this before I hear spoilers, otherwise I may be forced to curse the spoiler-giver with boils. Whiiiich sounds like a good way to get expelled.

5 = I would love [this phone protector](http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AW2QT8I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=14W2GPMO5NQZO&coliid=I69DBBI4I4X90&psc=1
) so I don't end up like my brother-in-law, who once forgot that his phone was in the pocket of his swimming trunks until he was in mid-air above the pool, about to cannonball. Who knows that kind of unexpected things could happen at school, what with nervous wand-wielders and magical creatures running about? I'd better protect my electronics from harm. Assuming, of course, that RAoAS3M is not like Hogwarts and that electricity will work?

Bonus = Here are some hooks I need for my dormitory at school. Gotta keep things tidy!

Thanks for the fun activity! Mischief Managed.

I used to set my headphones on my desk, but I've had the unfortunate outcome of getting grease stains that seep into my notepads. I'm not a super sweaty guy but I wear these ear cans all the time at work. Sweat stains are inevitable. I ended up buying one of those under cabinet banana hangers and it's been one of the best investments for my work life.

u/Aspirant_Fool · 1 pointr/techsupport

Move your monitor to whatever position will require the most available cable. Gather a little bit of slack at a fixed point on the mount, and zip-tie it in place. Now, when you move your monitor around, you'll know you always enough slack in the cable to avoid tugging on it.

You could also add something on the monitor side, e.g. a right-angle connector in the port, and/or something like this with a rubber band around the hook and the cable to help it stay in position and avoid movement perpendicular to the plane of the port.

u/stopthebefts · 1 pointr/TwoXChromosomes

I use Christmas light clips/hooks for dangly earrings and necklaces, because I can just stick them to the wall and peel them off without damaging the paint. I also use tackle boxes (for fishing) and empty heart-shaped chocolate boxes for studs and smaller earrings.

u/LcbZzVd3fS · 1 pointr/microgrowery

The lip isn't huge, small enough that even the smallest of binder clips can get over it. I'd be concerned about drilling holes in the pots for the simple reason that I have a tendency to move these suckers around a lot and I would be concerned about the pot cracking.

Hmm....

I wonder if there would be some way to affix holes along the side of the pot.

Edit: Maybe command strips along the lower portion of the planter where they wouldn't be inclined to catch onto other stuff? Hmm...

u/Arasthel · 1 pointr/headphones

There's also the option of using this banana hanger on your wall.

u/sjellio1 · 1 pointr/vinyl

these and thumbtacks at the top. Not sure if its the best solution but I havent seen better

u/PotViking · 1 pointr/cycling

That fact aside, how heavy is your bike? These hooks work great, and barely leave a hole (about as thick as no. 2 pencil lead). A tiny bit of spackle would cover it almost instantly.

They also hold up to 100lbs. While I wouldn't want to put that to the test with a bike, I would with two or three of them so the weight is spread amongst them.

I've used them in my house to hang pictures and a mirror, they work like a charm.

u/jllunsfo · -1 pointsr/adventuretime

back in the stoneage, I used these in my dorm to hold up lights like that.
