It's not like you have to be in healthcare to get gloves. And they're not expensive.

Some people are concerned about prints going through them ... but I can't imagine being able to get good prints off of paper that somebody has touched with nitrile gloves. Wear two layers if you're worried.

Just give it a good soaking in Scotchgard first...

And you'll have enough to take care of the bridal party and probably the church too, LOL...

All for a mere $45 ish bucks.

Yes, I realize this says it's for carpets and upholstery. The aerosol spray states "fabric and upholstery", they seem to be the same or very similar with different marketing techniques... We use it on everything in my house. Carpets and upholstery (duh...) sheets and other linens except those for the kitchen or cleaning, clothing - especially my husband's shirts and my white silk skirts, fabric handbags and handbag interiors. I dilute in the tank of a high volume low pressure sprayer and just throw on a respirator, nitrile gloves with a cuff - either reusable or disposable-, and spray in my garage whenever I need something treated. It's fast, incredibly cheap and works very very well.

Edit: add gloves to PPE info

Always use protection. It's great advice that is not limited to condoms and anti-virus.

You could put some metal springs on there.

Not sure about a hi point. If you pulled a hi point on a criminal, they might laugh. Then again, they might be laughing because they have one too.

I'm a fan of the nitrile gloves over top of cotton gloves approach. You have way more dexterity and heat resistance than any silicone gloves I've ever tried. The the nitrile gloves are disposable but very cheap, and the cotton gloves basically last forever. Here's what I use:

I've had these for a month and I really love it. Especially for my oil cleanser

I'm actually considering getting the gloves that are normally used for cleaning with the same stuff for bodywash in the shower.

An idea is to get microfiber gloves used to clean cars. Something like this. It makes the process so much faster.

u/cecetran · 3 pointsr/fashion

They have these strips that are supposed to protect the collar on your shirts, but I'm not sure how well they work!

I always have a box, though I prefer these ones since they are longer at the wrist.

I have eczema and super sensitive skin, so I bought these gloves for myself when I was closing prep every shift!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G326WSM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

They will tear eventually, but they come in a 3-pack and were cheap enough to be worth me and my coworkers rebuying them multiple times! For the price they hold up much better than I expected.

When you put them on, submerge your arms in the water almost to the top of the gloves to seal them to your arms and keep the water out! It also helps if you buy a size that isn’t too big for you. I have tiny hands and the smalls worked well for me! You can also find way heavier duty/even longer gloves on Amazon.
Eucerin lotion (or its generic version) is my holy grail, I keep some in the office at my store

u/mragentgrover · 2 pointsr/dishwashers

I looked on Amazon for long small gloves maybe these? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GTVYXB7/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_Ld1VDbVGB8SX1

Hope this helps.

I usually rock some heavy duty black nitrile gloves, something like these: https://www.amazon.com/Black-Lightening-Nitrile-Gloves-Powder/dp/B000QDYLUQ they are thin enough for fine work, though durable enough to use all day. If I think I need extra protection I just put on a pair of Mechanics brand cloth gloves over the black nitrile ones and tear shit up.

u/d0o0fy · 1 pointr/cars

I personnally use this kind:

Atlas Nitrile Tough Gloves

I find them much more durable than the disposable black nitrile and a lot more comfortable. And have a bottle of Fast Orange in case I still get messy. I use Mechanix for heavy duty work.

You might try these for next time. I think there is a version called C-Guard, made by a redditor, as well.

u/sporad1c · 1 pointr/Fishing

I use these gloves. They're not very warm, but I can use a baitcaster with them on and they take the edge off. I like the medium size because they fit tight. When I go ice fishing I keeps these in my pocket for when I'm actually fishing and have a heavier pair for when I'm dragging the sled around.

By no means am I an expert on the hike, but I can help for sure.

The gloves I was recommended were these and they worked great. They have similar brands/types at Home Depot.

As others have said, especially on a day hike, it'd be best to only fill up a little water at a time. The Vernal Falls footbridge station was closed and has been for a month or more.. so check the status or ask around before you go. Bring a filter so you don't have to rely on it and fill up at Little Yosemite Valley. There is water access above each waterfall, but use caution on where you decide to pull water. Basically, in this photo, fill up on or near the sand beach where the background people are.. avoid rocks and fast-moving water.

Start early, like 5-6AM early.. pack the 10 essentials (or most of them at least) and just be sure to check the weather before you go.

u/CrazyCooter22 · 1 pointr/guineapigs

I found rubber gloves like these work best for those types of pigs. You can wash them and have a really good hold!

Magic Ssak Ssak 100% Silicone Eco-Friendly Scrubber Cleaning Gloves for Multipurpose... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CQNCKN2/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_T58TBbRMG13PP

I bought these gloves:

Reusable Waterproof Household Rubber Latex Cleaning Gloves, Long Cuff, Kitchen Gloves. 16 inches Long - Pack of 3 (Medium) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078QLD822/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kS8kDbYC0FZWE

And I just get both hands in there and rub the poop off. Then I flush, swish it around real good again if needed, and flush. Then I rinse the gloves in the clean toilet water and hang them over the tub.

I take the inserts out before I do this. No solids are on the inserts so it's fine to not rinse them. They might be more likely to stain though.

>all me weird but I don’t like the idea of buying rubber gloves just to throw out a pair every time I cut a pepper.
