FYI save the bypass filter that comes with the fridge if you want filtered water. The stock filters are like $60 and the water pressure actually declines when it’s time to replace it so you either buy a new one, deal with water taking forever to fill, or put the bypass in. They require replacing far too often.
Or there’s another option. You carefully take off the rfid sensor from the bypass filter and attach it in the same spot on a third party filter like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GAB3DT2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kSZADbE0R85QQ. The fridge will tell you the bypass is in, but the filter will work. Then you just need to decide when it’s time to replace it.
Amazon. It was $19.99 USD before shipping when I bought it.
You also need to be aware of the chlorine/chloramine in municipal water. Get a prefilter like this one for $9ish a piece.
I'm in the process of reading this with my kiddo. At first glance they range from 5th grade level reading to young adult:
I am looking to get these over the next 6 months:
Thanks - it's one of the these so I only know it does chlorine, not chloramine.
Not sure on both points there is a us store http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Backplate-Cooling-Case-100-BP-0972-B9/dp/B00OSAT62Q not sure about shipping thow
Backplates apparently help cool the card but it's more of an aesthetic choice. You can purchase backplates for EVGA cards separately like I did.
Got mine from Amazon for 20 bucks, with no issue. There in stock
I bought mine on Amazon. Make sure you get the correct model.
you could go for the evga 980 ti buy a waterblock like this and this backplate brush/paint both of them white.
How effectively do solutions like this washing machine filter work?
