FYI save the bypass filter that comes with the fridge if you want filtered water. The stock filters are like $60 and the water pressure actually declines when it’s time to replace it so you either buy a new one, deal with water taking forever to fill, or put the bypass in. They require replacing far too often.
Or there’s another option. You carefully take off the rfid sensor from the bypass filter and attach it in the same spot on a third party filter like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GAB3DT2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kSZADbE0R85QQ. The fridge will tell you the bypass is in, but the filter will work. Then you just need to decide when it’s time to replace it.

You also need to be aware of the chlorine/chloramine in municipal water. Get a prefilter like this one for $9ish a piece.

Backplates apparently help cool the card but it's more of an aesthetic choice. You can purchase backplates for EVGA cards separately like I did.
