Is this /r/fitness? This should help with your problem amazon

u/Cheesetoast9 · 16 pointsr/AdviceAnimals

protip order some of these on amazon just fold up after and throw in the wash. They don't soak through like a towel and hold plenty of liquid.

You can use ostomy prep supplies to prevent this. I'm allergic to lots of adhesives and tend to get ulcers on my skin from contact. Whenever I have surgery or something requiring adhesive I have to use a barrier product to reduce the reaction because my body is so effing melodramatic.

Medical supply company Smith & Nephew makes Skin Prep protective barrier wipes to be applied to the skin before adhesive and allowed to dry. Make sure you apply to the entire area the tape will be attached to plus an additional margin.

To remove you carefully pull up a corner (leave one turned under if you can) and glide a Uni-Solve wipe just under the tape pulling on the tape as you wipe. You really shouldn't feel the tape coming off - the Uni-Solve should do the work. Uni-Solve is greasy feeling so you'll want to have something to wash up with.

For both a single wipe covers a large area. It's pretty expensive, my local medical supply store sells the foil packets per each so you don't have to buy a whole box of 50.

There are other brands available, this is just one I'm not allergic to. Stuff burns like a mofo if it's applied too close to an IV site - catheter has to be in before it's applied. But it's still pretty awesome stuff!

u/pdorris · 12 pointsr/diabetes

We use this uni-solve brand and it seems to work great:

They’re basically the same thing we use in the hospital for incontinent patients!

u/my_flipside · 10 pointsr/ABDL

My favorites are the GaryWear Active Briefs.

u/vairuh · 9 pointsr/guineapigs

Honestly, I let them do their thing, and than clean up afterwards. Poops are picked up with tissue, and odors can be addressed by sprinkling some baking soda, letting it sit, and than vaccuming.

For stains, I recommend Folex which is hands down the best carpet cleaner I have ever tried. Even if you don't have pigs, you should have some of this stuff on hand.

I always love these absorbent washable pads which are super absorbent and waterproof. I actually use these in my pigs' cage under the fleece, and wash them weekly. I think have a bigger size than the one I linked to, so find the best size for you. I think the brand is northshore.

Good luck!

Read through your post on relationships too, they brought up some good points. You definitely need to bring it up before you spend a night with them. Be honest with them that you need to wear "briefs" (not diapers) because of an issue - don't get science-y, mention it's been a lifelong condition. If you're comfortable with it, they'll understand.

It looks like you're wearing either an Abena or Tena, which are very absorbent, but very "diaper" shaped too. Have you tried experimenting with a pad and a disposable brief? A Tena pad and Depends should be a suitable pair for going out. It ends up being about $1.60 ish/night, which is a little more expensive than yours, but it's worth a shot, no?

u/sugarwifey · 8 pointsr/sexover30

This is what I was going to recommend. We have about 5 mats that we use. They are way cheaper than the fancy sex blankets and are soft and quiet! Something like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M0PRKRE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mQdNBbDJ15X4C

u/Unsoluble · 8 pointsr/diabetes

Unisolve remove wipes, or something similar. Smear one all around the edges, wait a minute or so, and it'll lift right off. (Depending on the size of the patch, might need to sort of work your way in from the outside.)

u/trancematik · 8 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

Lol my mom's a nurse so I have one of those washable absobant bed pads, and kotex ultra thin overnights + diva cup + white undies.

I take no chances, I love my luxe bedding.

u/Angrylillis · 7 pointsr/moderatelygranolamoms

We use these: Washable bed pads
I layer them under the sheet so that I can do a quick change if we have a big leak in the middle of the night. I also used them when we potty trained my oldest. I would lay one across the counch and put a sheet over it to keep accidents at bay. The one i linked is crib sized but you can find bigger ones as well.

While they are not crinkly or vinyl you will find that they dont breath the way cotton sheets do and so they get hotter at night.

u/sospir · 7 pointsr/ABDL

Sounds like you want some Gary Active wear briefs:

https://www.amazon.com/GaryWear-Active-Brief-Large-Gray/dp/B00B8N8WEY

They're not so much 'plastic' pants as rubber, but they're the best I've used. The interior fabric is a soft stretchy rubber material, while the outside is cloth. Very discreet as they essentially make no noise, and the outside fabric works well under other clothing. I use them if I know I'm going to go #2 in the diaper I'm wearing (helps keep smells limited), or if I sleep in a diaper overnight. I know I've had instances where I've flooded my diaper while sleeping and these contained the leak really well.

They come in pretty neutral colors and aren't easily distinguished from other laundry.

u/9400301 · 7 pointsr/ABDL

I hear you, but he’s right, and I can say, as someone who also doesn’t love plastic pants either, that I’m finding I really like the PUL ‘plastic’ pants that I’ve tried from GaryWear:

https://www.amazon.com/GaryWear-Active-Brief-Large-Gray/dp/B00B8N8WEY

I tried one pair and liked them enough that I’ve gone ahead and bought a couple more. They really do help a lot with smell, and they come in various colors to suit either of you as needed. I like them both for when I’m concerned with possible leaks, but mainly if I’m going to be wearing outside and I’m worried about having to bend over or if my shirt may come up above my waist line. I’d much rather they see a pair of these in black or blue than see an ABU diaper. :)

u/BxMnky · 7 pointsr/sex

My wife and I go through the same thing. Get you some of these, or something like it, and have fun.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CP97YXK/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485784616&sr=8-4&keywords=hospital+pads

u/honkimon · 6 pointsr/ToolBand

Just get one of these and there's no need to go anywhere and no one will want to be close to you after a few uses anyways.

u/accidentalhippie · 4 pointsr/xxfitness

I bought some of these for "special occasions" where I don't want to have to run to the bathroom constantly. It's like a little sticker that puts just enough pressure on the urethra to keep it closed. Haven't tried working out with it though.

https://smile.amazon.com/Finess-Softpatch-for-Stress-Incontinence/dp/B01438A52M/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1503504092&sr=8-1&keywords=finesse+bladder+control

There's also this - it's kind of like a tampon, but it puts pressure on the urethra to stop "leaks".

https://smile.amazon.com/Poise-Impressa-Incontinence-Bladder-Supports/dp/B00ZGZSI80/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Both are really more short term solutions - might be something to try while you work on the PT and get things back to normal.

u/bonekeeper · 4 pointsr/sex

My girl has no tightness issue but one thing I've found works really well when I want it extra-tight is to sit her on the edge of a hard surface like a table or countertop - I think her ass pushes against the vaginal canal or something.

Also kegels by themselves can take a while, try these.

Also inflatable butt plugs can make things pretty tight.

u/lavonne123 · 3 pointsr/stepparents

Definitely put your foot down. You are doing right by encouraging your SD to go the bathroom frequently. This will establish good potty habits. You can also ask her if she feels like she has to go. Maybe she doesn’t understand the sensation of needing to pee? And if she says no, then still ask her to go try. My SS cannot feel when he has to poop so I have him on a strict one a day toilet visit for a bowl movement so he doesn’t get backed up. I think that getting her some pretty pull ups is a good idea. But try not to encourage the idea that just because she is wearing pull ups she doesn’t have to go sit in the toilet. For the protection of your furniture and beds, purchase what we call in the nursing home chucks or bed liners you can get washable or disposable.

u/ComicFoil · 3 pointsr/IBD

Also, like others have said, maybe hold off on the drinking in the club if it can ultimately ruin/end your night.

u/WearingClouds · 3 pointsr/ABDL

PLEASE READ: THIS IS THE BEST DEAL I CAN FIND!

Here is the best deal I can find on the Abena M4.

It's under $60, has free shipping, and will arrive to you quick! It's sold from a great seller and I can't recommend these enough!

u/ElegantAnt · 3 pointsr/Parenting

I tried to night potty train my daughter when she was 5 - put her in underwear overnight and she did great for a couple of months (including a vacation out of state) and then started wetting the bed again for no apparent reason. We put her in overnight diapers, which worked well for a few months, but then she developed a persistent rash and we decided we needed to stop with the diapers so the rash could heal. I've been waking her up every night before I go to bed (~11) for a potty break. That seems to do the trick most nights. But it hasn't taught her anything about getting up to pee when she needs to - she sometimes has a nearly full bladder when I wake her up, but her body isn't waking her up. Anyway, main point of this story is that some 6 year olds aren't able to stay dry at night and it's not due to illness or stress, it's just how their body works.

I bought six or so washable bed pads. They have been lifesavers - I put them on top of whatever she sleeps on (not under the sheet - on it!). Easy to switch out in the middle of the night - no changing sheets. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sahara-Extra-Absorbent-Washable-Underpad-White/dp/B000FEGUEQ/ref=sr_1_8_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1479431879&sr=1-8&keywords=bed+pads

These are much less expensive than the Liberator throw and work amazingly well. They come in lots of different sizes, too. They may not be as soft and aesthetically appealing as the Liberator throw, but I don't care.

Not the most comfortable item - obviously not designed by anyone who might actually have to use them!

u/_John_Doe · 2 pointsr/ABDL

I would suggest a tranquility Premium pull up style diaper. I've worn these in public and I found them to be very quiet. As for absorbency, two medium-heavy wettings are the most I could manage before these start to leak. That said, I'd go ahead and stand for the second wetting to minimize the chance of leaks. Plus it's like $17 for 18 diapers.

I have a three year old T1 who pumps. Here is what we've learned:

  • Use Skin-Tac when installing an infusion site and it won't come off accidentally

  • Use TacAway to help remove infusion sites and CGM sites

  • Cover the CGM sensor site with IV3000 and it won't get accidentally pulled off

  • After removing a infusion/CGM site first clean it with an alcohol wipe to remove left over adhesive. Then use Neosporin or a thin film of a Zinc Oxide product like Desitin to help heal it

  • For active people, like my 3 year old, SPIbelt is a great product to hold your pump (you can even sleep with it on)

As mentioned in other posts, always have a kit with you. Your kit should contain:

  • Emergency sugar (glucose tab, cake frosting, or juice box)
  • Backup rapid acting insulin (pen or vial/syringe)
  • Glucagon
  • Your BG meter
  • Some kind of ID that you are a T1 diabetic (bracelet, dog-tag, tattoo, or id card in your wallet)

It is also a good idea to keep in your car, office, family, and friends houses an extra infusion kit (wipes, reservoir, infusion set). Train your family and friends on how to test your BG and also administer Glucagon and/or Insulin just in case you aren't coherent.

    Happy pumping!

First off, high five back at you.

Second, grab a generic waterproof underpad from amazon. The liberator is supposed to be good, but it's damn expensive and the Amazon pad is just as good. Reusable, washable, and no plastic so it doesn't crinkle distractingly when you're getting busy. It's white on one side, blue on the other, and you don't need the extra large one.

>What are some of my options out there, anyone have an advice for me?

I'll be honest, ever since we've had all of these wonderful companies making ABDL specific diapers, I've mostly used them and thus can really only speak to the cutesy printed stuff. I also don't really use any of the lower capacity offerings, but here it is:

I can say Rearz Safari is, in my opinion the best diaper on the market, incredibly absorbent, quite thick and a darn cute print. They do run a bit expensive and are probably overkill for what I imagine the average bedwetter voids. If it's something you'd be interested in, they also have a darn cute Princess Pink diaper too.

Bambino sells them, as does the official Rearz website.

ABU has the Space/LittlePawz Diapers that are similar absorbancy and a little cheaper. They offer an all white diaper called Simple if you don't want prints. Preschools might also work for you depending on the absorbancy you need.

On the medical diaper side:

Dry 24/7 worked well the last time I tried them (Maybe 2 years ago or so?)

I have a really heavy flow, and I recently bought these, Always Discreet Underwear: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KXUW72G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glA2xbF9MG8MT

They feel sort of like diapers (a little thinner) and are super comfy and absorbent. They help me feel littler on my period, so maybe you'd like them too??

I loved those big pads they gave me to wear in the hospital. Now that I'm home(2 weeks pp) I've been wearing these, and they're great.

Postpartum, I'm wearing these sexy things ooo la la!!

u/throwaway48159 · 2 pointsr/ABDL

Pullups are tough for lying down, they work best for standing/sitting. You might have to experiment a bit to get the right product and size. The two pullups I like are Abena Abri Flex and Tranquility Overnight Underwear, both are comfortable and pretty effective for me (although I'm not actually a bedwetter, I just pretend sometimes). Kind of expensive but not as bad as some premium diapers, and both should hold up for a few nights without wetting which helps. Abena is a bit better in that regard, but they're more expensive to start with so it probably evens out.

u/holaquepasa · 2 pointsr/sex

There are few options. You just have to be prepared.

You can use waterproof underpads. They have disposable ones. Or reusable ones. [There are many kinds]
(http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/medline-washable-underpad-30-in.-x-34-in./ID=prod6013826-product). You can keep a few on hand in strategic locations, and they are easy to move around and use.

You can get a waterproof mattress pad (with a sheet is nicer but without works too) that you place over your sheets and pull off when done and you have a nice, dry bed underneath.

Wool is absorbent so you could use any wool blanket as well. Or any waterproof blanket.

Or a combination of all or some of the above works too. Especially if you don't always have sex in bed.

Seriously though, I'm sorry for your unfortunate shipping situation! Maybe northshore Adam will read this and try to expand his market (i can't remember if he is on here or just adisc so I don't know how to tag him). They are defiantly worth a try but you get rearz that offer some great diapers IMO. I hope someday you get to try northshore diapers because every diaper is worth trying at least once! (I hope i come off as joking and not rude, being rude is no where near my intent!)

Good luck!
And happy diapering!

I bought this sealer a couple months ago. I was already looking at it and it went on lightning sale for 20 bucks cheaper. It's worked great so far. I also bought these vacuum sealer rolls so I could create my own bags to any length needed.

I've really gotten a lot of good use out of it.

I used freezer bags and the displacement method before without issue, but wanted stronger bags with a better seal for a longer cook on a prime rib roast. It turned out great!

u/zzsjourney · 1 pointr/MtF

When you say black rings I assume you mean fuzz/lint from the adhesive? You can try alcohol pads or something like this. I use the latter to help get the tegraderm (medical adhesive tape in using to keep them on) off of me without pulling off little bits of skin. I also it to get rid of residual adhesive if I ever notice it though I usually find that if I scrub the site with tacaway after taking off the patch I usually don't need to revisit it later.

u/quietlyaware · 1 pointr/infertility

But aren't the patches designed to release a steady amount every day for seven days? Hrm. I know there's at least one pharmacist on this subreddit but I don't remember their username!

Apparently petrolatum based stuff works well. Vaseline was okay, baby oil (mineral oil) was better, and goo gone (the blue medical version) has been the best! Although this stuff actually has better reviews on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000E5BKVE/

u/Jammer27 · 1 pointr/diabetes

Tac-Away always works great for me.

u/whenifeellikeit · 1 pointr/AskWomen

We use these.

Just keep three or four of them around. Take them to the washing machine in the morning. Keep them in rotation. Towels don't work for me either. I make puddles. I've actually gotten dehydrated from it after really hot sessions. So yeah, the pee pads are awesome. Nobody has to sleep in the wet spot.

Oh, incidentally... keep baby wipes by the bed too. This isn't just advice for squirters, either. Baby wipes make cleanup after sex super-convenient so you don't have to ruin the mood by running to the bathroom. Oh, the inappropriate ways that I use my children's stuff...

u/caliboy_557 · 1 pointr/incon

Tena Slip Maxi hold about as much as an Abena M3 and absorb very quickly. They're half as thick as well. In terms of what you can buy on Amazon you may want to try Northshore Supreme and Northshore Lite. Northshore supreme are fairly thick for daytime wear. I don't know what your body type is, but I'm 6'1, fairly skinny, and wear mostly skinny jeans and stuff, those wouldn't work for me during the day (Not discrete). Hence why I use the Tena Slip. The Northshore Lite diapers are thicker than Tena slip and hold less.

They make incontenence briefs that look like real briefs if that would help.

I've used these before. Good price and reusable.

u/anyd · 1 pointr/seriouseats

After trying a few this Crenova is my favorite.

When it seals it turns the heating element on, and then vacuums the chamber to put pressure on the sealing point. I've probably used it for 100+ bags and only had it fail twice (both were my fault; allowed near-freezing liquid into the sealing point.)

Also when setting the first seal from a roll, you can set the seal right on the edge of the plastic. With my MIL's Foodsaver you waste 1" every time.

u/NotURDaddysLilGirl · 1 pointr/sex

I think everyone else pretty well commented on the cleaning side of things, I can offer some advice on the sheets side. Get yourself one or two mattress pads. My boyfriend and I bought four cheap from Amazon, the kind that are meant to be used in hospitals (so they're super durable, and very absorbent), and put one on top of the sheets whenever we go to have sex. Whatever gets on the pad will not leak through, and your sheets are good to go for snuggling right after! :)

Here's an example just to show what I mean.

what are some equipment to start off for beginners? going to build pull up bar, dip bar, rings, resistance band and Parallettes. anything else to consider

for parallettes isit better to start off with shorter of longer 1s? would it be better to start with shorter to learn the basic skills that can be done on both then get taller 1s to do more advanced stuff that can only be done on taller 1s like L sit into handstand and handstand pushups or better to go taller and save some money. is there paralettes routine to follow?

two options am looking into are - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07J191B71/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.co.uk/RAMASS-Parallettes-Gymnastics-Calisthenics-Bodyweight/dp/B072KLDHXK/ref=cts_sp_3_vtp. if there links to build them with basic equipment then i might also look into that.

I tried using charts and bribing which worked great until the charts and bribes stopped. My son was far more interested in playing than taking potty breaks. What finally worked for us was making him clean himself up when he had accidents. Go into the bathroom, remove his wet underwear and clothes, take them to the laundry room, go to his room and get clean underwear and clothes. Once he figured out how much longer it took for him to clean up after having an accident vs. taking a minute to go to the bathroom he was fully potty trained, no accidents since. For night time potty training, I bought these washable underpads (http://www.amazon.com/Sahara-Quilted-Washable-Underpads-Absorbency/dp/B000FEGUEQ/ref=pd_sim_hpc_5) for his bed. I bought 3. I place one ontop of his bed sheet so if he had an accident I could just switch to another pad, and change PJs. Good luck!
