NZXT Aperture M Internal 5.25-Inch Mesh Card Reader with 2x USB 3.0 (AA-APMU3-B1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008KEPWMY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_oARAzb1KGHM9P
I had this card reader in my last rig. I'd still use it but I don't have another 5.25 bay in my case. It always worked great and added 2 more USB 3 ports to the front
This is my list of priorities:
No idea how to end this super comment, so:
THE END
you could also purchase a 5.25 inch bay extension that has 3.0! NZXT makes a really sexy one.
This one
This will easily max out FFXIV :p
I also included a NZXT Aperture that comes with SD card readers and usb 3.0. from Amazon.

Just squeezes into your budget but it has a lot of stuff going on!
I began with the 5820k 28-lane Core i7 Processor. It will be awesome for video editing in premiere pro and handling multicore/threaded workloads. The motherboard and cooler go along well and they are backed up by 64GB of ddr4 also ready to go for your video editing. Next comes the storage: You've got a samsung 950 pro for your boot drive and application storage, when fully optimized you should be able to boot from power off to windows desktop in under 5 seconds. You've got 250GB 850 pro evo ssd as a scratch disk/temporary storage backed up by 4tb of mechanical storage from WD. Then, the video card which can be configured for GPU accelerated tasks in premiere pro and should be able to play all your favorite games at 1080p at 60 fps. All of that will fit into the 200R by corsair powered by the evga 750w fully modular power supply. You've got an optical drive for burning/watching DVD's and last but not least, a built in card reader from NZXT (make sure to click on that link to see it, I couldnt find it on PC Part Picker) for all your card reading needs.
This was just a pretty quick rough draft but let me know what you think! I can help make any revisions if you're interested!
Are you talking about something you stick in the front where a CD-ROM drive might go? Assuming you're using onboard graphics and your mobo has headers for all these things you mentioned, you can get those. If you have a discrete GPU though, there isn't a standard solution to have outputs anywhere beside the card itself.
Something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/EXCELVAN-Multi-Function-Dashboard-Reader-USB3-0/dp/B00J4FJC8I
I just researched this myself yesterday, and I'll be doing the same thing as soon as my parts are delivered. The speeds will definitely be higher with a PCI-e USB 3.0 card like the one you linked. It will work with your motherboard, although you might have to install drivers for it.
If you have an empty 5.25-inch drive bay, you could get a front panel USB 3.0 hub/card reader instead. That would give you easier access to the USB 3.0 ports than having them at the back of your case. It has a PCI-e cable for the USB 3.0 ports, and has USB 2.0 cables that plug into your motherboard's USB headers for the card reader.
You can get something like this - https://www.amazon.com/UCEC-5-25-Inch-Front-Panel/dp/B00UBFXMXG
They go into 5.25" drive bays, they also have them in 3.5" floppy bay sizes. Though cases without either bays are getting more common nowadays.
You can also get something like this for more functionality - https://www.amazon.com/Excelvan-Multi-Function-Dashboard-Reader-USB3-0/dp/B00J4FJC8I/
or this https://www.amazon.com/Multi-function-eSata-Reader-Temperature-Dashboard/dp/B00GTEM0HW
You can make them fully external if you want I guess by making a custom enclosure out of wood/plastic whatever, and running the cords out the front or back and protecting/insulating them properly.
USB is fine, but if you really want to take up an expansion bay you can get something like this
Here's an older video of someone doing a seperate hub with I/O features.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpXOvjavjWc
There are a lot of card reader/external interfaces, at least they made a lot back a few years ago. You'd normally put them in the optical drive or floppy drive bays.
This one here: https://www.amazon.com/Multi-function-Front-Panel-Ports-Reader/dp/B00GTEIL1G
would be a good start. As for buttons and such, I made my own with a simple bat switch (I also placed a guard over it, so it's like a launching a missile when I turn it on). As long as you wire it up the motherboard at the right pins you'll be fine using any type of switch.
The Meshify C is too big, the Dan Case has crap cooling (where would a fan go anyway?), and none of the other cases on the market do it for me.

I've spent way more time on this than I should have. This is inspired by the Meshify C, the Dan Case and the DIY Perks MDF case.

You should be able to do this with some MDF and some patience. While the dimensions aren't perfect, the final product should be around 12.3L, which is as small as it gets for having space for two 2.5" drives behind the MB, 2 platter drives, the best GPUs on the market, a CD-ROM, and the best cooling that you can get (no compromises).

You could easily shrink it down by nixing the CD Rom and the two HDs, if you've no use for them.

I already answered this for you.
it was the ZE-C288 Black Aluminum Panel 5.25" Bay that I picked up on amazon like 3 years ago. It's out of stock on amazon and new egg.
Here's one similiar to mine, minus the pwm fan controllers here
These things are awesome if you have the room
I have one on each desktop I own.
The problem right now is my liquid cooler has a logo on it that is turning red when i play high demanding games. I think its overheating. Could the pump to my liquid cooler not be getting enough power?
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/meteaz/saved/#view=HctD4D
I also have these in it, and they are not on pcpartpicker and are not included in that 625watt estimate. And when I looked again it's actually 628.

Pretty much.
I got it for $20 - http://www.amazon.com/ZE-C288-Black-Aluminum-Reader-Controllers/dp/B00BPA5GD0
Get a PCI USB 3.0 card with internal 20 pin header. Something like this and for the front 5.25 bay, get something like this. Connect the 2 up and remember to give power to the PCI USB 3 card and you should be good to go.
I am considering the Gigabyte GA-Z170 mobo. The case I'm considering, the Enermax ECA-3253 has front (ok, top) mounted USB ports.
I'm a noob, so this is a stupid question, I'm sure, but will I be able to connect these ports and an internal memory card reader such as this one to the mobo?
I am looking to add a lot of USB 3.0 ports to 5.25" bay but have not had luck finding something I like. This is about as close as I can find, does anyone know something with more then 2 usb 3.0 ports?
I got a this card reader as a gift for Christmas. The problem is, my mobo only has 1 usb3.0 header. Is there a way I can hook this up too?
I also got 4 new fans for my case. My mobo also only has 3 system fans spots. How can I plug the fourth in?
I have an MSI Gaming Z170A GAMING M5 mobo inside a Corsair 500R case and I'm interested in installing an NZXT Aperture M Card Reader. My mobo only has 1 internal USB 3.1 connector, but the manual indicates that it "supports additional 2 USB 3.1 Gen1 Ports". What do I need to do to expand that USB 3.1 header so I can connect the card reader?
This is the reason I wanted one...not op though.
I would switch the ram and hdd for these
