Amazon prime, and only $9.99! I had literally just typed in a search for crochet hook cases because mine were being stored in an old makeup bag and it took forever to find the right size hook whenever I was starting a project. I just checked my order and the brand is Teamoy, and this item is called “crochet hooks holder.” Here is the link but just a side note, they do sell bigger cases that are a bit more expensive. They have so many cute patterns for the case to choose from!

Edit: I just checked and they have different prices depending on the pattern you choose but I think the range was about $8-$12

Lurker from r/knitting, but did you guys SEE the zippered case they have?? I just got the fabric to make myself a case (once I actually decide on how I want it), but I seriously want that one....

I can't believe how reasonably priced they are! And yours is so pretty!

Hello all! I wanted to share with you my organizer for all my daily cross stitch stuff. I had been looking for an easy solution to store my stuff without having it all over my coffee table and be able to easily move between rooms to continue working on my projects. I finally found this little organizer on Amazon and it's PERFECT for what I needed. I thought it would be fun to go through my bag and show what supplies I keep in there. Not pictured are obviously my hoop this is my all time favorite and the grime guard that I am trying to learn to love.

Everything is stored in the Roll-up canvas organizer that I got from Amazon. It's made for crochet supplies, but comes empty so you can load it up with your own stuff. Lot of designs available, but most importantly, CATS!

Section 1:

-Dritz seam ripper

-Cottage Cutz 2-in-1 needle threader

-Basic travel scissors

-Embroidery Scissors

-Needle Minders - one homemade from a dichroic pendant from a local craft fair, one made from a Babypietattoo hand painted clay pendant

-Tiny magnet set - I used this as a "minder" before I got around to making new ones. I keep it inside my kit now to use for my needle threader. I usually stitch with the kit opened in front of me, so it's easy to just throw the threader down on the magnet and have it handy

-Needle threader

Section 2:

-Needle Twister - this thing totally rocks and I want one for each size of needles!

-Magentic needle case

-Assorted sewing needles

Section 3:

-Needle minder from Maggies Minders

-Hem clips - I got mine in a vintage sewing box from an estate sale. They are perfect for clipping back extra aida to keep it out of the way

-Clover fine tipped water soluble marker

-Snip-a-Stitch scissors

Section 4

ORT [Thread catcher] from Maggies Minders

DMC magnetic needle case

Dritz Fray Check with applicator tip

Yarn label recommendation was for 5mm hook but I find with Tunisian crochet that increasing a few hook sizes helps (a little) with the curl, so I used a 6.5 mm bamboo cabled hook.

Like these ones- https://smile.amazon.com/Carbonized-Crochet-ManYee-Tunisian-Knitting/dp/B0793NZNGJ/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1526124972&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=bamboo+cabled+crochet+hook

My partner gave me this faux leather needle case last year. I use it all the time. It's the perfect size for a few sets of dpns, crochet hooks, small scissor, stitch makers, and tapestry needles.

I used to just use it for travel, but now it's used mainly for traveling throughout the house. It's nice to keep all of my emergency tools together and close at hand. My only complaint is that it is lined with a cheap fabric that smaller dpns could punch right through. I just recently found my missing size 1 clinking around between the fabric and leather outer.

I also purchased the 15" case for regular needles, but don't really use it since I like to display my needles in my art room and don't tend to lose the larger needles when I take them out. Also, tall case looks like it houses a dildo.

This is the case I got for Christmas. It's great because it can hold more than just hooks, and there are different patterns to choose from. You can find more by searching "crochet case."

I bought a hook case on Amazon that I love, and use a regular totes bag to carry everything around.

It's sold my knit picks as well. I love it! I can keep notions in there as well as the needles and I always have everything I need.

I only have a few sets of straights and those are in a tube. The circs are kept in two different containers. I made something like this for storage of most circs as it prevents curling and holds all lengths. What I bought to hold some circs by my chair (frequently used sizes) isn't made any longer, but it is something like this. One pouch holds notions. This way, if I had to suddenly leave to care for a relative, I just had to add some yarn to the bag and didn't forget any important notions. I bought something like this to hold double pointed needles. I've been knitting for years.
