Hellooo! I just got my 2nd amazon global order today!! I'm so happy.

If you're a make up wearer, a spray SPF might be useful, I got this in my order

An affordable rice brand/germ oil recommended by ratzilla

$3 sunscreen alcohol free! There's different versions but here's the basic (light grapefruit scent, dries matte but quite oily feeling as it goes on, very runny, a little white cast)

Here is a cream I have my eyes after, it has astaxanthin, a powderful anti oxidant that I really like using under my sunscreen (along with vit c). I haven't used it, I'm currently using a cream from sana with astaxanthin in and but it's becoming drying for me now we're in the winter here even in texas. The cream looks very nourishing if you translate the ingredients

minon amino moist emulsion I really love emulsions in my routine, I find they just plump up the skin and my skin holds onto it all day better rather than just light lotions. This emulsion is highly ranked in JP and is more affordable here than on amazon USA (but it is available for prime in usa)

ettusais lip essence it's soooo good. It's quite expensive though even at retail, but if you feel like treating your self... keep your eyes out for the collab versions, i think you can also find winnie the pooh ones right now on amazon global.

here is an minon amino moist trial kit that is quite affordable and has a nice array of items to try!

EDIT here is my wish list with random bits and bobs too! http://amzn.asia/7Muyfhw

Hello all, in a previous post made yesterday, I had replied with a picture of a drawer of my Alex 9 unit and received a few of inquiries about how I made my drawer organizers. So, I decided to try my best to tell you how I did it. I apologize I wasn't able to make a complete step by step with a ton of photos, but this process was done over a year ago, and I wasn't really planning on doing it again since I finished!

Materials Needed:

Ruler

X-acto Knife

-I would recommend some extra blades as well-

--Foam Board (the more the merrier)--

Flathead Pins

--Contact Paper--

-The blades become dull fairly quickly, I think I used about four during the process-

--I was able to get a piece for $.99 at Michael’s on sale

---I decided to wrap each piece with contact paper because it makes it very easy to clean. In my actual vanity, I used fabric and it has gotten dirty and damaged and I 100% don't recommend it--

Template Materials:

Copy Paper or Grid Paper

Ruler

Actual makeup products

Steps:

  1. I first made templates for each drawer. I found using grid paper to design the setup made it very easy, each block was marked as an inch. Using the actual product dimensions I was easily able to map out what could possibly go in each location. It’s nice to know that the height of a standard sheet of copy paper is the width of the drawers! Also, to note, I made sure to give a little space on each side of the product to give it some wiggle room. (The dimension of each drawer is 11.5"x20.5")

  2. I then used normal copy paper to make a full-size map of each drawer. Then using that I transferred it onto the foam board. Measure twice and cut once.

  3. Using a straight edge, I was able to make cuts of each segment. It's easiest to first cut the width of the product and then afterwards cut the height of each compartment making sure they all have a uniform width and height.

  4. After each piece has been cut, I went ahead and wrapped every piece with white contact paper. Contact paper has a sticky back that easily allows it to adhere. Also, the back has its own grid so it was easy!

  5. Once each piece was ready to go ahead and assemble, I made a new template. This one was to make a uniform depth of each compartment (my smaller compacts all had about 3/4 of an inch between each and larger had about 1 inch) A B. This also made it very easy to ensure I had a perfect right angle.

  6. I decided to use flathead pins to connect everything together. I've seen previous YouTube tutorials that used hot glue, but that can be messy and difficult to work with. Also, if you ever need to redo something, you don't destroy what you had done. I used two pins on each side which really anchors the part. I will note, the tips of my index fingers went numb from doing this so much, but the feeling came back…eventually

  7. Enjoy!

    Some other things to note:

In my palette drawer, I created L shaped panels to allow for the palette to be better seen

I also purchased from byAlegory a liquid lipstick and lipstick organizers to build around

In my lipstick drawer, I purchased little glass beads to allow for the products to stand up better

My paper towel drawer has a holder which I created using a wooden dowel and clay

Also, I grabbed plastic liquid dispensers to easily get to my various liquids

Managed to slice my finger open making little lids of acrylic to hold all my disposable paper products

*Most of my other acrylic pieces have been purchased from MUJI

I hope you enjoyed my ~teal battlestation~, if you have any other questions about it feel free to ask. And I'm sorry if it was unclear at all. And, I'm 100% aware I have a stupid amount of makeup that I've gotten over the years as a makeup artist, Sephora employee, and a true Make Up Addict.

[GIRL I GOT YOU] (http://www.amazon.com/Lipcote-Lip-8471-Lipstick-Sealer/dp/B003RVV82S)

I couldn't find it in stores but you can get it on amazon pretty cheap!

u/mctaze · 20 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Imgur separated the link for some reason, so here is the Amazon link in case anyone is interested in purchasing! Yes it's also Prime. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00VF344X0/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

(Also apologies for the horrible text-on-words.. I did this quickly on mobile. I hope it'll suffice lol)

It's 12 lip liners for $8.43 (and 2 day shipping for Prime people) by the way, not $8.43 per pencil. I honestly think $9 for 12 different colors is a great deal. Definitely not all the colors in the rainbow but there's some staple shades in there like a variety of pinks, nudes, and browns!

I would try either a liquid lipstick, which will probably last through a party. Or, if you have a lipstick in mind that you want to wear but transfers maybe try Lipcote.

Edit: Oh. I realized you didn't mean your lipstick. Let's try this again. I would spray first with MAC Fix+ (or another setting spray), then the Urban Decay All-Nighter. At that point, your makeup should be bullet-proof. Here's a great post that explains how to use setting and fixing sprays to, and I quote, lock that motha in.

https://www.amazon.com/mDesign-Cosmetics-Supplies-Organizer-Storage/dp/B014VF1WT2/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?keywords=mdesign+small+plastic+vanity&qid=1566731527&s=gateway&sr=8-17

These are a flimsier plastic than some of the other organizers here. But they do serve their purpose. They have little handles which makes it easy to remove them from the lower shelves of my vanity. They are 12" long which makes them too long to fit the short way on my cart.
Overall would mostly likely repurchase

https://www.amazon.com/STORi-Clear-Plastic-Organizer-5-Compartments/dp/B001B11ZV0/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=stori+5+compartment+organizer&qid=1566731411&s=gateway&sr=8-2

This is a nice heavy duty plastic. It is fairly tall which I like for my foundation bottles, primer bottles, and taller makeup items. It helps them not to tip or rattle around.
Would repurchase.

https://www.amazon.com/Vencer-Acrylic-Compact-Organizer-Powders/dp/B01AEBVRZ6/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=vencer+acrylic+makeup+organizer&qid=1566731366&s=gateway&sprefix=vencer&sr=8-3

These are a heavy duty plastic. Some of my compacts are too wide or too tall to fit. For example my Hourglass powders have to go in corner first. And my Bare Minerals powders don't fit at all.
Would repurchase.

https://www.amazon.com/InterDesign-Organizer-Cosmetics-Accessories-Countertop/dp/B075FKMB49/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?keywords=5+compartment+makeup+organizer+plastic&qid=1566731252&s=gateway&sr=8-17

This is a basic palette organizer. Not super sturdy but it serves its purpose. My thickest palette is a PM mothership, thinnest would be a Viseart.
Both sit nicely.
Would repurchase.

This is a sturdy brush/pencil holder. I have face brushes, then pencils, then eye brushes. It doesn't seem like it would tip easily, however, it feels crowded. Like the pencils and brushes lean into the other compartments. I would look around for separate cups next time.

The lipstick holders I previously had. There are so many on the market and they seem to be all the same for the most part. I would probably consider getting a gloss one too which helps the taller tubes not to tip.

My favorite thing tho....the clear Mac bullet top. 10/10 for sure!

u/erkala21 · 12 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Lipcote helps, but it's not a miracle worker. I find it works best on formulas that are already great for staying power, particularly mattes, but this just makes it even better. A lot of people don't like it because it smells like nail polish and leaves a tingly feeling for a minute, but I use it regularly and don't mind.

And for Canadians this set is $17.99 but not prime. Still a good deal though. View Here.

I have them for MAC and some of the first gen colourpop lippie stix.

These are the MAC ones I bought. I really like this seller, I have a ton of their organizers for my makeup.

Here are all their clear lipstick caps and matching brands (Bobbi Brown, ColourPop, NYX, YSL, Clinique)

Welcome! If you like it here, of course you should be here! Don't be afraid to post a picture if that's what you'd like to do, mostly everyone is very nice and any criticism is usually very constructive!

What size organizer are you looking for? Do you want one organizer to house everything, or are you looking for different pieces?

I think Sephora is great, but drugstore brands also have a lot to offer! Check out Ulta.com for drugstore brands and more mid-range brands that Sephora doesn't carry (Lorac being a major one!)

I have 32 of them, and overall, they're my favorite lip product. I really, really love them. I love the ability to mix my own colors, and I love their staying power when applied in a specific way.

Some of the cons are: relatively high price point, tendency to dry lips, accentuation of lip lines, inconvenience of reapplication, and questionable staying power that seems to vary between colors.

Some of those problems can be ameliorated pretty easily. You can avoid the high price by buying them on eBay and /r/makeupexchange. You can avoid the drying effects by using a balm or primer underneath. You can stop the bleeding with a clear lip liner around your lips. You can reapply them using a retractable lip brush when you're on the go. You can help their lasting power depending on how you apply them. One thin coat, blotting, another thin coat, and more blotting seems to help transfer for most people.

My favorite OCC lip tar tips:

You can get some of the matte lip creams on Amazon with free shipping here.

u/spacepal · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

ByAllegory has compact and single eyeshadow holders and they’ve come so in handy! They’re on amazon and have their own website as well. They also have lipgloss organizers which are perfect for liquid lipsticks and lipglosses that would fall over in regular lipstick organizers.
I also recommend getting your lipstick organizers at the container store because they’re cheaper they’re only $6. They also have little single containers they’re perfect for storing things like concealers, mascaras, eyeliners - I have 3 of the small ones for concealers, mascaras, nail polish (i have only 4 nail polishes) and then 1 larger one for lip liners cause they tend to be longer in length.

u/madamedepompadour1 · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I've heard good things about Lipcote which is about 3x the size as the ABH one for like $6 less.

u/belleinpink · 4 pointsr/drugstoreMUA

Ladies, I am sorry for coming to this thread so late because I have the answer!!!!!!! You can turn any lipstick into a kiss-proof, long-lasting lipstick with a British product called Lipcote which you can find on Amazon.

It's a little expensive for the typical drugstore products, but it is soooooo worth it. You can't turn ANY LIPSTICK into long-lasting lipstick. You have to follow the directions exactly, but I swear by it.

u/stupidminnow · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I own literally one Pixi item. It's the Lip & Line in Nearly Clear. Basically it's a lip "primer" on one end and a clear lip liner on the other. I really like it actually although the primer end didn't last me very long. The clear liner does what it's supposed to and I don't have to fret about finding a lip liner to match my lipstick for the day.

u/13emily13 · 3 pointsr/makeupexchange

I unfortunately don't have this item for you, but I found it here on Amazon! It's an add-on item which sucks, BUT it says you can receive it by Wednesday if you choose One-Day shipping at checkout!

EDIT: Here's a more expensive version by Anastasia Beverly Hills. It costs 10 dollars more, but isn't an add-on, and also can get there on Thursday with 2 day shipping :)

u/TheRubyRedPirate · 3 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Congratulations on your first contest! I hope you like it here so far!

This $2.65 lipstain is the cheapest item on my wish list.

I would really love these $14.99 rubber coasters. I'm tired of using folded up paper towels or newspapers. We drink a lot of ice tea and the condensation gets everything wet. Plus I'm super clumsy and spill or knock over stuff all the time.

u/lhpeanut46 · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Lipcote is the shit!

Super awesome at sealing lip products. I have big lips too, and chinstick is a pain.

u/zenzizenzizenzike · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I have three of those racks for my collection. They do NOT work well for long lipsticks, especially round ones.

I find that my lip glosses and rollerball perfumes are best stored in these extra tall acrylic organizers.

u/bekfairr · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Try Lipcote. It's about £3/4 and it works a charm. I always forget I have lipstick on but Lipcote over the top stops it from smearing all over my chin and hand. I would suggest waiting for your lipstick to dry or set a little first otherwise you'll fetch the product straight off. Also wipe the wand off before you put it back in the tube unless you want the entire tube to pick up the colour of your lipstick!

u/No_Beating_The_Busch · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Lipstick dries me out, finds it's way into every cakey crevice on my lips & it never stays through drinking, eating, etc. Does lipstick "sealer" really work? Something like this. Can I put lip-gloss/balm over it?

If the magic is real, any suggestions on which one? Something cheap (like under $15) would be fabulous.

u/ashleyjt · 3 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

Also, if you don't want to order online, I think it's available for purchase at Bed Bath and Beyond:)

u/shandymare · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Quick look at the ingredients and it apparently has pine wood resin in it which is weird and sounds like it could be irritating. The Thinkbaby one has it too and now that I think about it it did have a strong scent and I never repurchased it so maybe it bothered my skin too.

I use Blue Lizard on my kids but it's quite thick and will leave a white cast if you aren't very pale. I recommend these Japanese baby milk sunscreens if you want non-irritating protection that spreads nicely:

I use an inexpensive primer I found on Amazon that I like better than Smashbox called Emori, not sure if it's AB or not.

My current routine (this is one week after I got the giant Tarte box with everything) is typically Skinfood Salmon concealer (my favorite concealer so far, creamier but stays, ousted Boiing), Aqua Petit Jelly BB in the lighter version- usually I use my fingers or one of those toothbrush brushes), Peripera or Etude tints as I mentioned with my ulta tinted balm, the TonyMoly powder which as I said blew me away, I have eyelash extensions so nothing there, and I have a cushion blush in a tube that I like a lot but I just got the other powder blush I mentioned. I also have and like the Missha cushion, but I like Aqua Petit Jelly more.

Waiting on this because I love this brand, it's a cotton candy setting spray?

Sorry that wasn't more enlightening but it has links :) I was just surprised to be AS entranced by AB makeup as I am by AB skincare because I was a MUA for a long time and have always been a product junkie and now I use my stupid expensive stuff on days I'm not going anywhere :O

ETA: I really have to check into eyeshadows now. I've kind of hit a wall because my whole face is handled, and I do want one of those TonyMoly bunny glosses!

sun bears! if you order it through rakuten, you can find it as low as $3ish per bottle!

i’ve tried so many other sunscreens (shiseido anessa, josie maran argan daily moisturizer, tatcha) and i keep coming back to this. it goes on white but fades quickly, even on my nc45ish skin. it doesn’t burn my eyes, doesn’t cause any irritation, and plays well with my other products. every time i try out some new and exotic sunscreen, i come back to this! i think it’s also alcohol-free, not sure about fragrance.

another option i would recommend: supergoop makes an “invisible” chemical sunscreen that’s spf 40 and pa+++ but it’s soooo invisible it freaks me out. i want to see where i’m applying it so i know if i’ve missed any spots, you know? that said, i would still recommend it.

hope this helps!

I'm in the same boat, I've been slowly giving away my nicer stuff and trashing the crap. Here is what I currently use on a regular basis (and it all fits in a small makeup bag):

Chanel Double Perfection foundation. It's a pressed powder and it is AMAZING. I'm acne prone and have quite a bit of scarring and just a light application of this stuff hides it all. I've been using it for about 12 years now, have yet to find anything better. I don't use a concealer because this foundation gets it all. It's a bit pricey but I use it pretty much every single day and one compact lasts me for 6 months.

NARS blush in Angelika. I tried so many cheap drug store blushes and none of them worked, I own several NARS blushes and they are all amazing. Totally worth the price.

Physicians Formula Eyeliner. I can make some amazing cat eyes with this product. It's also fairly waterproof, I've gone swimming with it on and it didn't run. I also own a Stila liner which was more than double the price of this Physicians Formula one and I don't like it nearly as much.

Laura Mercier Brow Pencil

Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies

My lip products vary, I'm liking the REVLON Colorburst Lip Butters. I also LOVE NARS lipsticks, I actually own that color (I know it looks awful in the picture but it's quite pretty). The formula is creamy but it stays put and isn't drying. And I don't wear glosses often but when I do I use either Chanel glosses or Smashbox glosses from this set. Neither brand are too sticky which I can't stand.

I haven't worn eye shadow in ages, and when I do it's from a few Sephora brand palettes so that isn't going to help you much. I like MUFE eye shadows though. Great pigmentation.

My brushes, bronzer, and luminizing powder are all Sephora brand so I didn't bother mentioning them either. I don't use primers much but when I do I use Smashbox Photo Finish Light.

Also I'm pale/cool with dark brown hair, blue eyes, and I'm oily and acne prone, if that helps.

If you are talking about the gradient lip then most people use a concealer around the edges of the lips and a tint in the middle, something like Peripera Peri's Tint Water or Tony Moly CatChu Wink or Delight tints.

I'd be a leaf devil whirlwind, especially right now! A small localised whirlwind of chaos that’s more interesting than actually causing trouble or damage.

I think it sums up my recent holiday attempt too - lots of bad stuff happened (pickpocketed, lost, stuck on trains, lost baggage, missed coach) but it was an interesting holiday and looked pretty like leaves swirling in the sky.

Also we actually get leaf devil whirlwinds over here and most other extreme weather kinda avoids Britain... its more cold, wet and mild... but thats no fun to be!

My baby kitty Lucky, is my perfect cat. I had a calico before (or tortoise?) and she was amazing and I guess when I saw this one on a facebook local animal page, I decided it was the coloring and I'd adopt her.
She didn't disappoint. There's one spot, a 2x4, that she scratches. Never on furniture or anything else. Just this one piece of wood.
When she plays, she always keeps her claws in and when she "bites" whether in play or irritation, she never clamps on or hurts you.
Both of these things stand true in the bath as well.
Even when in heat, she wasn't unbearable. She'd moan a little or cry a bit, but only howled incessantly a couple times ever.
She likes her feet massaged, and her belly rubbed. She also used to toke with me, but I have since stopped sharing because my son let her out when she was in heat once, and I couldn't get her in all night...and yep - I'm about to be a grandma. Although this will make me a bad and irresponsible pet owner, I am kind of excited. She isn't that old and hasn't much changed her personality, and hope that it doesn't come to that, because she's perfect. I'm thinking she will teach her babies to be good like her. My favorite thing is how she curls up under the blanket I'm using, head out on my arm, to nap.
Ok, I am stopping now; I SWEAR I am not that into cats haha

here's an Elf brush I'd like

So, this is definitely kind of weird, but I hoard bike parts. Old parts, new parts, pieces of bike parts that I tell myself I'll fix, basically anything that was once on a bicycle, or belongs on one.

I like to tinker and I like to ride bikes, so it all started innocently enough. I have two bikes built out of some new, some hoarded parts: right here! and a pile of extra parts waiting for my next project. Plus, this 25 (ish) year old frame that is waaaay too big for me but I can't bring myself to let go of it: [this guy!] (http://i.imgur.com/qPieP0r.jpg) I wish I collected something cute, or fancy, but no. It's bike parts.

(Not pictured are the multitude of screws, bolts, tiny metal things, etc that I took off various projects and kept, because who knows when you'll need an old bolt, right? probably never, but still...) Anyway! If I were to win, I would love to give this a shot. Thanks for hosting!!

My top five are:

  • Naked Palette
  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (in 220 - Medium)
  • Revlon Lip Butter (in Pink Truffle)
  • My Beautyblender! (tools count, right?!)

Here's the item $5 total from Extreme Discounts Warehouse
u/tehcuteness · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Skincare routine:

Morning

  • I'll use Cerave Foaming Cleanser (just started this a month ago after seeing it on sale at amazon), or Up&Up Gentle Skin Cleanser. The latter is an off brand version of Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser, but waaaaay cheaper at six bucks.

  • After patting skin dry, I'll use Stridex Maximum Strength Pads. Sometimes I'll also use St. Ives Scrub Free Exfoliating Pads, but I can't really stand the rotten fruit smell. If I'm using St. Ives, that means my skin is not doing well.

  • While I'm waiting for the exfoliant to dry, I'll exfoliate my lips using ELF's lip exfoliator or a toothbrush. Then, I'll put Aquaphor or Jack Black's lip balm on.

  • Spot treatment with AcneFree's Terminator, 5% BP. Usually the forehead because it hates me. >_<

  • Moisturize. Cerave cream (when I'm home) or Cetaphil cream (when I'm traveling).

  • Sunscreen. I'll use a Neutrogena sunscreen daily, usually from the ultra sheer line. If I'm going to a fancy shmancy event and I'll be wearing heavy makeup, I'll go with Missha sun cream, since it plays well with a full face.

    During the day

  • I'll use a Stridex pad after any workouts. If I do this, then I don't use my nightly retinoid.

    Evening

  • I'll remove my makeup using a wet wipe and the CVS brand eye makeup remover. If its a heavy makeup type of day, then I'll use Bioderma and almond oil instead.

  • Wash face with Cerave Foaming Cleanser or Up&Up Gentle Skin Cleanser. If its a heavy makeup day, I'll double cleanse.

  • Spot treat with AcneFree's Terminator. At this point, I'll clip my bangs off my forehead.

  • Moisturize. I'll either use Cerave Cream or Neutrogena's Rapid Tone Night Repair Moisturizer (or the CVS knockoff, since its cheaper).

  • Moisturize eyelids with Vasaline, and lips with Aquaphor.

    Once a week

  • Freeman's Oatmeal and Avocado Clay Mask. If I'm traveling, I'll use it twice a week, since my pores just gets congested during the trip.

Thanks for having this contest, Daisy! It is obvious that I hang out at SKA, but I also just love reading the research on dermatology.

Nyx Matte Lip Cream in Sao Paolo
u/Feeling_Pretty · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

My favorite makeup has to be blushes. NYX blushes is a really good product. Pigmented, blendable, and the price is just right.

Revlon's Lip Butters is a great lip product. It's kind of like a lipstick and lip balm hybrid. It's somewhat sheer, but depending on the shade you get it can be bold.

Eyeliners...gel eyeliners work really well and it's actually pretty easy to apply too. Maybelline Eyestuido gel eyeliner is one the best gel eyeliner. Waterproof, doesn't smudge, and it glides really well.

Mascaras! Drugstore and high end mascaras work the stay, so I say don't get a high end (unless you have the money to spend of course). Covergirl mascara is really good and everyone really likes their Clump Crusher and Maybelline mascaras are also very good. The Falsies is one of Maybelline's most popular mascaras. Both comes in waterproof, they can hold a curl really well, won't clump your lashes, and of course, they add volume and length!

u/42spleens · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Here is my Alice in Wonderland inspired makeup (eye makeup only - my face makeup is messy from work and my hair is not Alice-y at all, haha). I wanted to do an Alice look because a) Alice is a badass, and b) I've never really done anything with these colours before. It was fun!

Umm and I just noticed that I don't have one item that is close to $20, so I will just link something I really want, which is this. Adding this would bring the total closer to $20 before shipping but if you only wanna do one thing that's totally cool!

Thanks for hosting the contest!! And post pics of your tattoo when you get it!! :D

I Heart Drugstore Makeup!

  1. Wet n Wild! Their eyeshadow palettes are soo pigmented and pretty. I almost have to say that I like their palettes better than NYX (although NYX does have better packaging).
  2. Face would probably be Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation. Cheek would probably be Wet n Wild Pearlescent Pink blush. Lips would be Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lipstain in Honey hands down.
  3. I'll probably have to go with Covergirl Blush. I bought some a while back when I was first starting with makeup. It barely shows on my face.. which was probably a good thing, back then.
  4. This might sound gross but I think Monistat Anti Chafing is a pretty sick deal.
  5. I really like moisturizer sunscreen combos, like the one by Aveeno, it makes it easy for lazy old me to put on both sunscreen and moisturizer in the morning.
  6. Flower (by Drew Barrymore) or Napoleon Perdis or Physician's Formula. All very expensive and for the same price I could get Wet n Wild with same or better pigmentation.
  7. Monistat Anti Chafing for primer, I've used it for the longest time, got a sample of Smashbox once, but to be honest, they're basically the same.
  8. Really not too fond of ELF eyeshadow palettes. Their brushes/liners are great, but their palettes are sometimes a hit or miss for me. Pigmentation is ok in some and really bad in others.
  9. Rimmel Apocalips! I've read so many good things about them, but I can never find them in my nearby Big Lots and I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy them full price.
  10. I would really love to have a NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp. I've become obsessed with NYX Lip Creams lately and it looks like a really nice color to pick up!
u/LittleMissBlue · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

The lip color is Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 025: Peach Parfait. CAN YOU BELIEVE MY MOM DIDN'T WANT THIS AND JUST GAVE IT TO ME BRAND NEW?! It actually looks way better in person than I could capture with my crappy selfies. I'd like to note that it's way pinkier on me and in person than it is in the pictures on Amazon, not sure why that is (maybe it would go on more like those pictures if I were to use LipErase or some such product first). It's quite sparkly regardless!

I like my brow shape but the hairs are so looong and go astray all the time. Texture-wise (if that makes sense?) I would much prefer it if my brows were more like my friend's brows here. How do I get them like this? I'm sooo afraid to trim them short myself! I've had my brows waxed before but never groomed like this. Who do I go to?

You've made a strange request but since you took the time to type all this up for me I will honor it!

You can also try this stuff! It's a waterproof lipstick sealant and it keeps stuff on your lips / keeps your lipstick off stuff very well, IME. I do find it a bit drying, but then dries my lips out, so it's probably no more drying than any other lip product. It comes off with oil or makeup remover.

I was eyeing some Muji drawers, but I opted for 2 of these instead. I like to store my foundations standing up and the open top part of this lets me do that. I have one for lip products and one for foundation/concealer/highlighter/bronzer.

I'll also second the byAlegory lip gloss organizer. I like to store lip gloss upright, too, and they kept flopping over in regular lipstick organizers.

u/SchultzAL · 1 pointr/AustralianMakeup

u/emythestrange · -1 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

You might just need a better liner and some primer. I'd suggest the MUFE Lip Line Perfector, it's another reverse liner that works fabulously. Goes on clear and stays all day. I think it's a must when wearing darker colors, and it seems to be one of the best reverse lip liners out there.

A primer like Too Faced Lip Insurance could also help, and if you really want to keep that shit on lock, you could throw on some Lipcote Lipstick Sealer. Dita Von Teese claims it keeps her lipstick on even through BJs.
