(Part 2) Best living room chairs according to redditors

We finally finished the baby's room! I've been a Muppet lover since I was a little girl and luckily my husband is always on board. We had a Muppet themed wedding five years ago. **Edit** Since people have been asking, here are two photos from our wedding in 2014 (Cake and Table Setting). Crib: Originally my husband wanted to build the crib himself, but after talking about safety concerns while interviewing a pediatrician, we decided it was best to just buy one. This was from Target.

Rocker: was from Amazon. I found the same brand at a home store in my town and tried it out before buying. It is still slightly stiff, but I know it will get broken in soon. It was about $100 cheaper on Amazon.

Curtains: Also from Target.

Rug: We already had this rug in the house. All the walls are pretty much this same color and we have hardwood throughout so I bought a bunch of colorful rugs when we moved in. This one seemed perfect for the room. It was purchased on Amazon a few years ago and I can't seem to find it in my purchase history.

Dresser and Nightstand were purchased for $40 from Facebook Marketplace. My husband painted them.

Muppet Movie poster was a Christmas gift from my husband on our first Christmas together. The other Muppet collage was made after our wedding. Instead of table numbers, we had table Muppets. Each of the pictures in the collage was framed separately and you were assigned to the "Gonzo Table" etc. I turned them all into a big pictures after the wedding.

Pouf: was from the At Home Store. It doesn't look like they list it on their website anymore, but it is similar to this one.

Hi)) In my opinion, it will be suitable to organize a rest area and place a chair or armchair (like this one) in the right corner. Then you can put a coffee table and decorate it with different statuettes or photo frames. The left corner can be complemented with home plant. It will be effective to hang the wall lamp, so that there would be light cozy atmosphere. If you prefer to read books there, you can surely hang the shelves and place there favorite books)))

It's top-grain, not full-grain leather. Top-grain is, generally speaking, the second best quality leather. So it's not bad, but for that price, you can do better. If you want that exact design, amazon's new furniture cover rivet sells something extremely similar for a few hundred dollars less and it also has top-grain leather.

Hope that helps. If you want the benefit of being able to try it in person, and have a west-elm near you, then it may be worth it to just go for the west-elm. If you are buying online regardless though, it may be worth looking into these other options.

Great rug! I saw in the comments that you are willing to get rid of the big chair, I think that it would be best to do so. The furniture is too big for the space. Below I put some links for chair suggestions. I also saw that you want lighting suggestions so also put pairings together.

I would also suggest maybe painting the wall behind the couch to help make it pop. If you do get rid of the chair, the couch you need to center on the wall along with the coffee table and have a chair or two in the other side on an angle to it can be a more social space.

I agree this room could use a rug. Maybe something like this or this. I'd be tempted to try out putting your bed against the wall your desk is on. I'd prop a big round mirror on top your dresser and add a cat-friendly potted plant or two.

Underbed storage my be helpful, plus upgrading to a nightstand with a bigger drawer.

You have beautiful light in your bedroom, enjoy it! Swap out your rolling desk chair for a comfy armchair in the corner or an accent chair for your vanity (One | Two | Three).

Back support, but no need for something to lean against a wall or furniture, since you can place it in middle of a room on top of zabuton. I just place the floor chair on top of my zabuton, sit cross legged, and use a couple of pillows to prop up my knees. It's way more comfortable than what you're currently doing, which is what I used to do.
