It's a bit less than that, but similar to above: Tangkula Glass Coffee Table International Occasion Tea Table https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4NPKIS/

u/haremon · 8 pointsr/malelivingspace

I found two during my searches!

  1. Emerald Home
  2. Best Choice
u/theinfiniteom · 8 pointsr/malelivingspace

Here's a somewhat similar one for $85.99: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3QGJYW/ref=emc_b_5_t

This one is only $50 and you could probably just switch the top to a piece of glass for a reasonable cost? amazon

OP 1) Purchase brown or light brown sofa covers; if they're too steep in price for you get yards of those solid colors and toss them over both.

2) Move the loveseat exactly to where the sofa is at placing it flush to the entrance frame as your sofa is. This will free space up in front of your fireplace and ALLOW you to fire that fireplace up without fears of the loveseat's fabric going ablaze.

3) Rotate the sofa 180° counter-clockwise so that the end without the armrest is closer to the door frame and yet opposite and adjacent to the loveseat. (The armrest side of the sofa should be the nearest to the fireplace side.) Then move it towards the fireplace by 1-1.5 foot.

4) Purchase https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MLYPKZ and place it in that 1-1.5 foot space I previously mentioned. This will allow anyone either seated at that corner chair of the sofa to have somewhere to write, place their drink or you to wisely place a small lamp. This product will also match your rug, flooring and livingroom set after installing covers.

5) Purchase several of these https://www.microcenter.com/product/486225/black---white-ergonomic-lumbar-back-support and then stack them on each other and leave it resting on one of the sofa or loveseat. As you get people sitting, pass them out as this will help their backs. Hell the straightness of that livingroom set hurts my back looking at it. But for $2 a piece you can't and will not go wrong.

6) Lastly pull the black coffee table back towards the new placement of the sofa by a foot. With both the sofa and loveseat now facing each other, you can use the table for board game nights or great nights of hosting amazing parties.

I've just moved into a 1/1 in South Florida that has a 12.5' x 18' combined living/dining area as in most apartments. I moved with relatively little furniture and am starting fresh. I already have some plans here but want some feedback on my selections and ideas.

To start with —

The couch is a Ryler from Ashley Furniture in steel: https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/p/ryler-sofa/4020138.html

The TV/media unit is a BYÅS from IKEA. It is a glossy white but I am not necessarily trying to let that dictate the rest of the furniture in the room: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/byas-tv-unit-high-gloss-white-80227797/

I also own an Avenal shaded arc lamp from Target (in nickel finish) but haven't assembled it yet: https://www.target.com/p/avenal-shaded-arc-floor-lamp-project-62-153/-/A-52937505?preselect=51021780#lnk=sametab

The walls are white and the floors are a light grey/brown faux wood. The colors of the walls and floors both change a bit depending on the light — sometimes the walls look grey or off-white, but they are white. The floors look more brown than grey in the photo but in direct light they are pretty light. There is one ceiling LED fixture just out of the frame here, but the ceiling fan light kind of sucks and doesn't light the room very well, hence the big lamp.

Here are my plans —

Obviously will be moving my dog's bowls and food

How about all in one?

Nothing will be as cheap as a Kallax new. And most of the simple/cheap/vintage ones that size lack the shelf because they're made for all-in-one Victrolas and the like. But there are some out there.

/u/tgillly posted about the Line Phono Turntable Stand which is being advertised all over right now. It's overpriced at $400, but imo it's beautiful and functional and well-designed for a modern setup.

Croseley Brooklyn. $190, dope-ass vintage design I love, and I like that it copies a record store's listening booth, but little storage and no amp shelf, just a small shelf below for headphones/accessories.

Novogratz Concord - ~$75, simple and has an amp shelf. I think the $160 upgrade to the tall unit with shelving looks great too, and there's a wider version with drawers. It's MDF so you're basically dealing with base Ikea quality.

Crosley Soho - basically a Line Phono ripoff. I am so close to getting this, and it's available at many places for ~$150

Check other cheap modern furtniture places like Wayfair for their audio shelving. Not all are confingured properly for turntable listening but some may work and you may find some attractive.

Get creative, you could use a bar cart, a kitchen island cart, a shoe rack, a mobile shelf unit...

Finally... you could make your own Line Phono if you're handy with a CNC machine...

Pretty cheap price and the quality was surprisingly excellent. It’s solid wood, not particle board.

u/ewenwhatarmy · 3 pointsr/InteriorDesign

I have no idea of this item's quality, but it is similar in nature to what you're seeking: http://www.amazon.com

However, I've learned enough myself and from other people's experience that quality should be your top concern ~ as such I'd second (or 9th at this point) ah18255's boconcept suggestion.

u/marceriksen · 3 pointsr/pcgaming

No problem. I have my battlestation setup in the living room and love it! Also if you're looking for a semi desk solution check this table out. Best piece of furniture ever.

u/mscrsll · 3 pointsr/AmateurRoomPorn

Believe it or not, they were hella cheap on Amazon. Rivet Geometric Modern Glass and Metal End Table, 15.6" W, Gold Finish https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074KN35MV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_GcG8BbTC52HNG

u/kiwiandapple · 2 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

Sorry for being late, this took me lots of hours to make. Didn't get to finish it last night, so continued today.

Note: I only did this for fun, I am not an amazing expert in terms of interior design.

---

I used Google's SketchUp, which is a free 3D rendering . I haven't used this in a long time and also couldn't find the installation file to run this. So instead, I used the browser version. Which worked very well, but I couldn't find props, so I hand made everything.
Yes, the bloody plants were a disaster! I also went a bit crazy on my own picasso. Deal with it!

  • 3D render pictures:
  • Picture 1
  • Picture 2
  • Picture 3

  • Size reference list:
  • Couch, TV table, TV, Coffee table, Bookshelf
  • Chair, Small round table, Slim side table, Plant (lol)

    ---

Overall, I am not too sure about the fireplace. It feels a bit too cramped, but I had it further away from the fireplace which made it a bit awkward in terms of the couch.
I do really like the couch, but maybe instead of the coffee table, get either a smaller one or not one at all. You could consider a small TV stand and wall mount the TV instead.

Anyway, if you have any question. Don't hesitate to ask!

Was looking at this but probably way off.

Hah, I love it! If you're looking for a similar concept at a cheaper price point, how about this , or this. They're glass instead of acrylic, but they might be more within your reach.
Either way, I think the living room looks great! Nice work!

Newly acquired college pad.. really struggling to commit to a rug just because the floor is so busy. I really like those vintage looking rugs with patterns but I think it would be way to busy with these floors. Also trying to stray away from getting a solid white/light grey since I don't have any color in the room.

Also I just purchased this round coffee table, hoping it'll suit the room?

I know the TV is too high, please don't roast me.

u/eeisner · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

this is the one I bought, but you can find identical tables under different names on Amazon, Wayfair, etc etc. It's also all over this sub, which is where I got the idea from.

u/dospaquetes · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

It's this one, I took out the wheels and added fur pads so it would slide under the sofa

I don't know the actual name for it but something like this?

u/wildmonkeymind · 1 pointr/AskReddit

Probably this... and a $400-$500 bottle of scotch.

u/DrRabbitt · 1 pointr/AskReddit

i saw a coffee table yesterday at Big Lots i think that had a mini fooseball table built in to it

like this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002QSLS46/ref=asc_df_B002QSLS461631278?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B002QSLS46

only i think it cost less

u/stinkylibrary · 1 pointr/shutupandtakemymoney

Closest I could find I think this one was one-of-a-kind. I remember the original post for this table and he had people offering him like $500 for it.

u/GeneralConcept · 1 pointr/buildapc

Damn, so much unwarranted rudeness in the comments for just asking for help.

I would start looking around on Amazon, they have a pretty good desk selection. I don't know specifically what type of desk you are looking for but, something like this fits your dimensions.

You could also look into "training tables." that's what I use because I prefer large unobstructed desk space. I don't know what your budget is but something like this or this might work for you.

u/oddsnsodds · 1 pointr/buildapc

The smallest desk I found workable was inside a shelving unit; the shelves were 15" deep by 30" wide, just enough room for a keyboard in front of a monitor.

This is slightly larger and I would probably find it fine for temporary use:

https://smile.amazon.com/Winsome-Wood-94844-Rochester-Occasional/dp/B0046EC1CG/

u/MyUsernameIsJudge · 1 pointr/BudgetAudiophile

Stands are so overpriced :(

The bookshelves are tall enough they should be fine on a TV stand or similar. I have tall bookshelves on something like these:

https://www.amazon.com/Furinno-2-99800RDC-Turn-N-Tube-Corner-Shelves/dp/B00KCSHQTI/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=furinno&qid=1564187539&s=gateway&sr=8-14

Same brand but a different model. That would give you enough for a sub. The towers are sold individually. A subwoofer is going to give you a bigger upgrade than going from bookshelves to towers or Sony's to Pioneers.

u/crazyloof · 1 pointr/audiophile
u/Viktor_withaK · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

It looks like Zinus actually makes matching nightstands for this bed frame, amazingly!

EDIT: It turns out that the Modern Studio nightstands don't actually match the Ironline bed's color. They have a similar wood-and-metal style, though.

u/Mr_Soju · 1 pointr/DJSetups

That's brilliant about the 2x2, rack, and table top. I've had a hell of a time trying to find some kind of perfect record/DJ unit & audio rack to hold a couple receivers/graphic equalizers I've collected over the years. What I have in my mind's eye does not exist. I basically went with this solid night stand from Amazon that gets the job done and sits next to a expedit 4x2 w/ 2 MK5s and a mixer on top. I can't find a pic at the moment. :(
