Sleek face form in fair! It's only ~$12 (free shipping but not Amazon prime), has lots of product (20g), and the formula and pigmentation are great. The blush in rose gold is a dupe for NARS orgasm. The compact is also very sleek (hence the name) and portable. I cannot recommend this product enough.

I like Tarte Maracuja oil because its supposed to be good for acne. There's a cute little set on Prime right now that includes it in the small size.

I second the Lorac Pro palette and the Lorac Pocket Pro (I got it as part of this set: LORAC Close Up Real Life to Red Carpet PRO Face Tutorial)

Illamasqua's gel eyeliner is also a great investment, and I'm in love with my Naked palettes. You could also invest in some nice lipsticks, I have Illamasqua's atomic and love it, MAC will always have something to please you, and Besamè have some beautiful vintage inspired options.

They're on Amazon! Beauty Book, brushes, and bronzer.

I have Amazon Prime, so if you want to PayPal me, I can order them for you and have them all shipped to you with 2 day shipping :)

Becca undereye concealer! It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way!

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector Light to Medium 4.5 G (0.16 OZ) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00USIPGR6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vWhPAbPNGNKPY

That's it by itself but

Becca Jet Set Glow Prep & Prime Kit, 3 pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0763SCRSC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_iXhPAbPQKMW91

The smaller size in this set is sufficient to last you a good long while and you can also try these two primers under your foundation which helps make your whole face look luminous. They are also great!

Can I cheat and pick the Tarte Treasure Box set from Christmas 2017? I find the shadows are pretty well organized so they are easy to pair and create looks with. Not only are the eyshadows amazing, but it also has a highlighter, two blushes, and two bronzers! And it also comes with a mascara and lip gloss.

My daughter always loved playing with makeup when she was little(still does) back when I was a very young, single mother I couldn’t afford to let her play with my stuff either as I wear it to work and needed it to last.

This time of year the Dollar Store and Walmart often have kits like this they have a large variety of different products. The quality isn’t good enough to use as everyday/work purposes (just my not an expert opinion) but they last a really long time. I used to get these for us to play with so my makeup was spared and she felt very cool having her own makeup.

They vary in price depending on the size but are really affordable and often get deeply discounted just after Christmas. The one I linked above is $30 which is a bit more than typical but here is a more affordable option

Merry Christmas!

I have this Double Decker Color Wardrobe palette from Laura Mercier, and it is amazing. It has 8 shadows (shimmers and mattes), 2 shades of blush, a gold highlighter, 3 cake eyeliners, a brown gel liner pencil, and three shadow brushes (which are really good!). It was 125 when it came out at Christmas it's only 83 on amazon now.

Get her a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry from Etsy. You can even get something custom-made.

You could buy her Clarisonic's skin cleansing system Mia ($99) or Mia 2 ($149.) They sell them at Macy's and Sephora. I have a Clarisonic Pro (which was $250+) and it is absolutely amazing!

You could also schedule a fun class for the two of you to take, depending on your interests. If she's a girly-girl, she might like a make-up or a hair class from a real artist/stylist, a cooking/baking/decorating pastries class, a class on how to mix drinks, etc. Check out Groupon, Gilt City and Amazon Daily Deals.

You could buy her this Sephora limited edition make up kit: http://www.amazon.com/SEPHORA-Academy-Palette-2013-Blockbuster/dp/B00EPG7X00/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1412488635&sr=1-1&keywords=makeup+kit+Sephora

Hello fellow makeupaddictioner!! I'm OBSESSED with makeup and hair so you're in luck, lol!

First things first: Makeup!
For a very natural, professional, and simple makeup look these are my go to essentials:

  • foundation any type that suits your fancy! My personal favorite is Bare Minerals because it gives a super matte, flawless finish that looks like your skin with minimal effort. I literally just dip my brush in, dust off the excess and swipe that bitch on my face...lol

  • concealer only if you need it/have time. I only do it half the time...lol

  • bronzer I use this just to warm up my face after I apply foundation. Sometimes when you apply foundation it can cause your face to look very flat and one dimensional. Applying bronzer to all of the areas that would naturally get sunlight gives your face depth and dimension.

  • Simple Neutral Eyeshadow No need to get fancy here just a simple neutral eyeshadow will do the trick :) I don't even use multiple colors just one color I like.

  • Blush I apply just a small amount on the apples of my cheeks. My personal favorite is Elf blush in Berry Merry.

  • Mascara I'm sure you know all about mascara!

  • Chapstick I like to use chapstick rather than an actual color when I'm going with a no makeup makeup look.

I think these essentials are perfect for the professional world. The makeup isn't overbearing and it gives you the appearance that all you had to do was wake up and wash your face... that you woke up flawless which I think is infinitely more effective/professional/approachable than piling on tons of makeup.

    Here are some links:

  • Foundation

  • Concealer

  • Bronzer

  • Eyeshadow

  • Blush

  • Mascara

  • Chapstick

Also, here is a tutorial! I really like her and it's very simple and something I would do everyday not just for traveling :)

Now onto Hair... Are you still with me?? lol.

Here are my three favorite "Professional" hairstyles:

  • The Sock Bun

  • The Chignon

  • Ponytail

I think all of these hairstyles will work great with thin hair! Especially the Chignon and the Ponytail!

Here are the tutorials (All for thin hair):

  • The Sock Bun

  • The Chignon

  • Ponytail

I hope you found this really helpful! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask :) I love helping!!

    Bonus - Hair Accessories:

  • Sock Bun Helper

  • Hair Cuff

  • Headband

  • Another Headband

  • Peacock Barrette

    The End! lol :)

    Edit: I'm bad at words.

Check out the Sephora HG list for what to buy there.

Does she have quality makeup tools? Sides makeup, I think a bleauty blender would be a great addition. I've heard the Real Techniques ones is a great dupe for the original if you want to save the money for makeup. Their starter sets brushes are nice too.

I really love Lorac products. You should check some of Lorac's holiday set's on Amazon as they are a pretty great value compared to buying these things individually. I think this kit and the lip gloss set would be a great combo. For eyeshadow, this would be good!.

For oil, I think the NYX HD finishing powder would be a great setting powder. Sticking to drugstore, Clump Crusher is one of the better mascaras I've used. It looks like she could use an upgrade on eyeliner too, I swear by Maybelline's gel liner with a fine tipped brush.

If you know her shade, take a look into MAC's Mineralize Skinnfinish Natural. It's just personally my favortie powder that doesn't give me a cakey powdery look. For blushes, bronzers, highlighter, I really love theBalm products!
