Search Amazon for Middle Eastern, Asian, and North African-inspired fashion. I'm going with these Buttonless cardigans: 1,
2, a v-neck t-shirt, harem pants, a tactical belt, a scarf and a pair of boots.

Shirt and pants go on first, then boots and the hoodless cardigan. Then I tie the scarf around my waist to hold the cardigan closed and don the belt over it. Hooded cardigan goes on last.

The outfit has a Jedi-esque look blended with a Batuu vibe.

Looks like a Cole Haan LunarGrand boot.

I don't know if they're factory seconds or not, but I got my Golden Fox 6" Boondocker Service Boot Pro off amazon, they're $80-90 depending on the size. I like mine a lot, put some oil/conditioner to protect and darken the color a bit and it looks like a dressy-ish casual boot. It's comfy as well.

Love my Golden Fox boondockers for the price

How do you feel about engineer boots, with buckles instead of laces?

Red Wing

Chippewa

Wolverine

Or maybe you could go for a chelsea style boots like these Chippewas for j crew.

I think most boots with zippers on them are for women, at least from what I've seen. I don't see why they couldn't make them for men, however.

Depending on how frugal you mean, check out F21/H&M/DSW

While I don't love these for everyday, they were the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture: http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Martens-Mens-Pier-Boot/dp/B002AJ7ZZW

Sweet, Laidback Luke will be dope this weekend. Every single dude wears the loose fitting untucked button down and jeans and imitation leather shoes out, so just by subscribing to this sub I'm guessing you're better than that already. If you're gonna be dancing don't go with anything you'll heat up in too quickly. Bring a warm coat or sweatshirt to check and get rid of quickly. Usually at venues like this I try and combine comfortable with functional. I usually wear something like my slim fit gap khakis, they're like a darker burnt khaki and roll the cuffs with my black Aldo boots and a slim black Henley or a slim black V-neck shirt. Uniqlo and H&M are great for these clothes that you'll wear out and dance in and spill drinks on and generally destroy but it's cool because they're not too expensive! I try and go minimalist but stylish, simple, and comfortable. Sorry for the links, I'm on my phone at work and couldn't do imgur

Edit: is it Laidback luke Saturday or Michael woods Friday? Fuck I'm jealous if it's Woods, I'm out of town and couldn't go see him this weekend. Have fun!!!

I always assumed he'd wear Rangers or Doc Marten's.

I created the info graphic myself in photoshop. I can try to help you find links for all the items if you would like.
Here are some links to the items. I couldn't find links for all of them:

I wear the classic 1460, keep in mind people will make skinhead jokes. Look out for a sale, my girl picked some maroon ones up for $40, black ones don't seem to go on sale though.

I'm looking for my first pair of boots, what are your opinions of these Dr. Martens Pier boots? I was directed here from MFA when I asked about these.

u/jboogie458 · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

Are steve maddens generally bad quality? I am looking for a boot that can last me a couple seasons before I upgrade to something more expensive. Looking at these right now

Maker/Model: Golden Fox Boondocker

Size: US 12

Leather: "Crazy Horse Leather" Genuine Leather. Pig skin collar

Sole: Crepe

Pictures: http://imgur.com/a/LA7323X

Price: $65 shipped (PayPal)

Wears/Condition: Worn about 20 times

"Fudge" color (Golden Fox 6" Boondocker Service Boot Pro 7 Fudge https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074BQ4KJD/ref=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_apa\_wEp8BbMB7AR8K)

Polished with Kiwi brown shoe polish after about 10 wears, polished again today and wont be worn again.

Love the look and feel of these boots but the sizing doesnt work for my size 13 feet. Length is moderately acceptable but narrow toe box has caused me to quit on these, too much pinching on the pinky toe at the ball of the foot.

Bought some CDBs, returned them once I realized that I overpaid (paid full price). My plan was to order another pair for less online, but since they were pretty uncomfortable and the leather felt pretty rough on my ankles, I've started looking at other options. I was looking at [this] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W2K42W9/ref=twister_B073QVRP84) and [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Golden-Fox-Boondocker-Service-Fudge/dp/B074BM3368/ref=sr_1_2_mc?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1509581175&sr=1-2&keywords=golden%2Bfox%2Bboondockers&dpID=511LJv52uFL&preST=_SY395_QL70_&dpSrc=srch&th=1&psc=1), but I have no experience with either.

Opinions? Other recommendations? Don't have any boot style preferences, just want a good daily boot. Keeping it at $130 or less would be ideal, but I'll go higher if it's absolutely worth it.

I'm indoors most of the time, and snow is not an issue, if that helps.

u/suryabeep · 1 pointr/motorcycles

What are features/materials that you look for when you're buying a pair of shoes for motorcycle usage? Do you know of any sneakers that incorporate those features?

So far, whenever I get on my bike I always have on these boots, but I find that they look very out of place wherever I go. I want to buy a pair of boots that 1) provide decent enough protection and 2) don't look like I walked off a construction site.
Ideally they'd be a pair of sneakers that are 'modified' by the manufacturer to use safer materials and more padding, but a more dressy pair of boots with protective features could do the trick too. An example of this would be SF AF1 (would these be bike-appropriate btw?).

u/kolacomfort · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

I am looking to pick up a pair of combat boots, Struzik Combat Boot - Cognac. I really like the style but is it worth taking the risk? If not, are there similar boots that you could recommend?

u/DrewTheHobo · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

I just bought some chippewas and i think they match the Skater look, especially with skinny jeans. Might want to also look into Doc Martens

u/denimiskillingme · 1 pointr/goodyearwelt

I have shortlisted 3 pairs of "summer boots" to wear in this hot & humid weather in Dubai. Which one would you pick for a light and easy wear and why?

Doc Martens Chukka

Red Wing Weekender Chukka

Golden Fox Boondocker

I am wearing Iron Rangers at the moment and the Golden Fox 'Looks' like a boot I want but not sure about comfort and if it looks cheap. The RW Chukka, I don't like how it looks but I've heard it's the most comfy boot they offer. I generally don't like the look of any Chukka. But teh Doc Martens kinda looks decent. Again, no clue if the docs are GYW.

u/swscheiblein · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

Thanks for the advice, man! Really helpful

EDIT: Found them

u/MrMember · 1 pointr/TwinCities

I bought these for this winter, I like them a lot so far. Great traction on the ice and snow.

Paired with wool socks they can be used as snow boots.

u/Grimeyz · 1 pointr/BuyItForLife

Sorry for being so uselessly vague...

Isn't there a line of boots that use Nike (or a different running company's) soles? Like a legit boot upper, but comfortable running shoe bottom.

EDIT Found em! Cole Haan makes a whole line of shoes with Nike Lunarglide lower parts. But they ugly! Mostly dress shoes too, but here is a pair of boots: Amazon listing

Been looking at a few brands in particular I need opinions on, as they do not show at all in the beginners guide. I own a pair of one of these brands, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them; however scuffed they may be now.

Matterhorn & Corcoran (I own a pair of Corcoran Men's 10 Inch Side Zipper Jump Boot-M)
Rocky's (which I ordered and set back for size matters)
Bates (eyeing off for a while, but reviews all say quality's dropped.)

I wanted to ask why these brands don't appear (my expectation is poor quality), to which I say, my Corcorans have done really well over the last 6 months, they can very much handle the Australian climate.

For reference, the boots I'm most interested in looking at are paraboots (essentially): Above the ankle; cap-toe; military style; and preference in a side zipper. Are there any other brands which are easily accessible in Australia that are good quality for 100-300 dollars USD (150-450 AUS)? That fit that style of boot?

I've been looking at Thorogood's side zipper jump boot on Amazon, and I think when there's another sale, I'll be purchasing them. But I wanted to see if there's more options on the horizon. Thank you!
