Stupid question but could you get one of those folding granny shopping carts?.
I guess you're unfamiliar with the use of personal shopping carts for urban shopping. How do you think the large number of urban dwellers who don't have a car do their shopping?
It was a cart like this probably
Wellmax WM99017S Double Basket Folding Shopping Cart with Swivel Wheels, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000UZ58C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_C7YBybD6TMMYN
She wasn't likely pushing a Costco giant cart. In any event you've never seen a person pushing a cart? It's such a peculiar part of the story to get hung up on.
Get one of those collapsible shopping carts for your groceries, and you should be all set!
http://www.amazon.com/3M-Adjustable-CPU-Stand-CS100MB/dp/B000KI8HKC
Your solution is the rarely seen Cart of Old Lady.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0000UZ58C?pc_redir=1407010071&robot_redir=1
With that, all of your food and drink (including potions, even weapons and armor!) will be portable. I proudly had one of these (though it was +1 agility, +2 charisma) when I was of lower level.
This is the biggest challenge for me as I do not live close to a grocery store. Currently I bus there/uber back if I'm going from work or uber round trip if from home (no convenient bus lines at my house). Previously I've puchased a grandma grocery cart like this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000UZ58C/ref=psdc_8615548011_t1_B000LPFUG8) and walked but I live further away now. As others have mentioned in the internet age this is only a problem for meat and veggies and sometimes not even that.
> Will probably stick it on a plank of wood.
Yep, that'll work. Or a short table, or one of these.
Also, a lift like this works too: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RQ3JQMM?psc=1
I use one at work like this currently. I can stand, or sit for the day, depending on what I feel like.
I use this behemoth. I believe it's made for scrapbook paper but it's perfect for next to my vanity.
Not necessarily the same as a handtruck but close to it - http://www.amazon.com/Magna-Cart-Flatform-Wheeled-Truck/dp/B002TITK8O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409066040&sr=8-1&keywords=flatbed+cart
I bought this for my mom and it is light enough for her, very compact, and easy to use. Easily folds up into a car trunk and durable as well.
I personally look for a desk to hold two 27 inch monitors and a long mouse pad. I donโt really like the keyboard trays cause I move my hand around with my mouse and wouldnโt want it to be on a different level than my keyboard (if that makes sense).
I like a basic desk. No shelves/storage stuff. I have tried those before and it was a mess. One thing I invested in so I wouldnโt have my desk holding my PC was a PC caddy. Cost around $10. Incredibly helpful so you have maximum desk space. I got mine off Amazon. Also I sit on my legs A LOT and personally hate sitting โnormalโ when gaming. So I got a little foot hammock so I can have my feet off the ground and stretched out and comfortable.
Here are the things I mentioned in my post:
Desk: Zinus Modern Studio Collection Soho Desk / Table / Computer Table https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073R1DJYT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_nfXRaU1wwmQHS
Foot hammock by Basic support - Black - Ergonomic adjustable feet rest for a comfortable utility foot stool under your office desk that you can fold-a-way https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NGYUAD9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_l3M0Ab3CDRKA8
Caddy : Adjustable Width ATX Computer Case Caddy Stand with 5 Caster Roller Wheels Foldable Flexible https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BYRO7O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_53fuUKihOAwjL
This was a serious problem for me as well, but I've since solved it by using this. It makes any table or desk into a standing desk, and can also be used as a low table so I can sit on the bed or on the floor.
Agreed.
Should get something like this
This, it's to keep the case off my carpet. The PSU fan feeds out the bottom.
I love that it's called a "cpu stand." haha.
I couldn't find any reference to this being from Ikea, but I did find a couple that look super similar if not the same on amazon.
There's a couple of things off the top of my head, but of course I don't know your budget or her taste. There is a drawer organizer for storage, StitchyBox sends a box of stitching supplies and fun stuff. If she like Heaven and Earth designs they have similar boxes but you have to know her preferences. That's all I can think of at the moment!
I picked up this hand cart last year, made a world of difference. Folds flat in my truck, and moves a whole lotta water packs.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TITK8O
I use one of these for the PC in my carpeted living room. Works great.
I bought this thing to put on my desk, allowing me to stand when I want to. It's wonderful. I love it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RQ3JQMM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I really like this one, has a keycap puller on the other side too. The little logo plate on the side fell of after a week but that doesn't affect anything. Keycap Puller Stainless Steel Key Keycap Removal Tool Keycaps Remover for Mechanical Keyboard for Removing Fixing keyboard tools https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075CZCTXM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jFjwDbFETSN42
I keep it on my carpet, but I use this to keep it elevated. I'd recommend it, works incredibly well
I've personally got one of these for my desktop.
Sure. Was pretty easy to put together too. Nothing crazy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07581Z9SM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_iyvHDbCW65V3D
I use this floor stand for the TV with this monitor stand mounted on top of it.
There are folding chairs provided.
I recommend a foldable rolling cart for your tower:
Magna Cart Flatform 300 lb Capacity Four Wheel Folding Platform Truck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002TITK8O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_UYE7BbG9YQHMZ
This is what some of our guys use.
Be aware that the load-in process this year is.... not ideal. New security measures and just the layout of the venue mean it's just gonna be kinda awkward, particularly if you have a large tower.
Thanks, I found something similar, maybe I'll just 2 of these:
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-Desktop-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW
Invest in one of these bad boys.
This.
It's the most expensive thing on my list. I searched high and low for one of these over the summer for my pop culture lecture where I take A lot of items to class (like vinyl records, rotary pay phones, pagers, etc.) They are not easy to find :)
Use a lightweight wire folding grocery cart. They're reasonably priced, and since they are wire, the administration can't complain that they cannot see what you are carrying. No way to sneak in a bomb!
(Except by hollowing out a textbook)
It can fold up so you can get on the bus, it can fit in a standard locker, and it will certainly carry as much as a backpack - maybe more.
Where do you live? Country? State? City? In many neighborhoods (spoilers: poor ones) there are no grocery stores. Maybe the bodega has some almost-spoiled bananas. Maybe the guy selling fruit out of his truck has some oranges or something. But no real grocery stores, and without grocery stores, no one in the supply chain is going to send trucks into that neighborhood.
Then maybe, a few miles away in the better part of town, there's a nice grocery store and hey, they even have sales sometimes! But you're too poor to live there, which is why you live in the poor part of town. So your options are
And if you have kids, you get to either bring them with you and further complicate the logistics, or try and find someone to watch them for a few hours.
Oh, but what about growing your own food? The startup cost to begin a garden in not only cash but time is most likely too-high a burden as well, and if you don't figure out what the soil will support, do your research on every plant you want to grow or what their optimal conditions are, you can waste a lot of money getting it wrong before you get it right - or even if you get it right, an early frost, a drought, or roaming deer can destroy your hard work and leave you hungry again in a heartbeat.
Even if you've never lived in a food desert, just thinking about how big the US is should make someone realize that there is a wide variety of circumstances, and Sally in Oklahoma isn't going to have the same access to fresh fruits and vegetables as Wilma in SoCal or Beth in Queens. Puerto Rico is an island and suffers from a poverty rate double that of Mississippi, the most impoverished state in the US - I doubt most citizens are importing quinoa or tofu.
Edit: I want to clarify that I'm not saying this is justification for anyone to give up and eat nothing but dollar menu burgers 6 times a day, I'm saying that it is not an even playing field and what needs to happen is investment in making such resources more evenly available, and education & funding for children to be exposed to healthier food throughout their entire school lives. I was a fat kid - it was partially my mom's fault because she was a single mom and worked really hard to take care of me and my sister, so sometimes chicken nuggets and french fries were the easiest way for her to get us fed with what energy she had left. But my mom isn't fat, my sister isn't fat. I got almost all the way through college before I understood how the things I ate did or didn't fuel my body - there's a simple level of "diet and exercise" that every one understands, but it can be so obfusticated or obliterated by all the fad diets and 9 minute abs and gimmicks that if you are in a mental/emotional/physical state to have gotten fat in the first place, it can all seem very overwhelming.
to drop off orders at the customer? i use this and highly recommend it i keep it in my trunk and it folds/unfolds easy.
I've been using this for months. Keeps it way off the ground for plenty of space below.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BYRO7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The TV stand is here on amazon. Little pricey but saves you drilling into the wall. Hope this helps.
Buy one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004B9V1R2/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1479659348&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=travel+dolly&dpPl=1&dpID=31bBDLZKhjL&ref=plSrch
For the car seat. It's a life saver. We also had our kid sit in the seat with it attached to wheel him
Around.
It folds up really small and light and you can slip it in a suitcase pocket but really helps with toting the awkward car seat around
Buy two of these and just use the mount from the second one if you can't find a separate mount only.

I love this rolling tv cart from Amazon:
VIVO Black Rolling TV Cart for 32 to 65 inch LCD LED Plasma Flat Panel Screen | Mobile Stand with Wheels (STAND-TV03E) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TFXO4Q4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_x6ByDbWWEDC3T
I kept the feet on my 43 inch tv for easy swiveling but I move it from in front of my treadmill to my weights area during my bootcamp workouts.
The stand is made by Griffin. Griffin Elevator Stand:
https://www.amazon.ca/Griffin-Elevator-Stand-Laptops-GC160342/dp/B013BNHROE
VIVO Black Computer Desktop ATX-Case, CPU Steel Rolling Stand, Adjustable Mobile Cart Holder with Locking Wheels (CART-PC01) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xpYtDbED5VQAH
Use this. It has wheels and the sides slide out to multiple sizes. Keeps the floor from getting sucked into your pc as well. Was my old riser. Currently just using a metal monitor stand. You could try that if youโre rocking like a cooler master huge case and donโt like the walls
as long as the board is hot-swappable, you can use a knife to carefully pry up the switches or get one of these.
I got one of these to solve that problem:
http://www.amazon.com/Syba-SY-ACC65029-Castors-Plastic-Adjustable/dp/B003BYRO7O/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1371724718&sr=1-1&keywords=Syba+SY-ACC65029
Works great!
https://www.amazon.com/Magna-Flatform-Capacity-Wheel-Folding/dp/B002TITK8O/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1473558164&sr=8-9&keywords=wheeled+cart+collapsible
Something like this is even better, and will save you from trying to keep it on an angle while pulling.
https://www.amazon.com/Halter-Ventilated-Adjustable-Laptop-Notebook/dp/B01AB1ES0A
Or just google for "B01AB1ES0A" to find the Amazon store for your country
Not even that though. It's a mechanical switch that follows ordinary specifications, meaning the switch is designed as a module that can be removed and replaced with no soldering required - mechanical keys are primarily not soldered on to make it easy for companies where they don't have to separate production lines for each mechanical key variant you sell - just different switches that you pop in.
They only cost a dollar, and if you're not certain whether it's the switch, or the board underneath, you can always swap it with a working one. Some motherboards come with the tool for grabbing the keycaps themselves, but you can also buy them for $5.
EDIT: Also, 90% certain that he's using a HyperX Alloy model, which are like $80 to $140.
Off course iT is this one
https://www.amazon.com/Griffin-GC16034-Elevator-Stand-Laptops/dp/B013BNHROE
Theres things like this and this that don't take up much room and allow for it to be moved easily and keep it off the floor.
I was in bed for the first two weeks and essentially housebound for 2-3 more. I did LOTS of PT in advance and thus Iโm recovering ahead of schedule. And that means Iโm finally now clear to walk as much as I can tolerate, which is about a mile a day of total steps. I can sit maybe 1.5h without too much pain on a good day. And I still live with ice packs multiple times a day and a heating pad for the spasming muscles in the rest of my leg and core.
Something like this was key https://www.amazon.com/Executive-Office-Solutions-Mount-Notebook-Macbook-Light-Sitting-Black/dp/B00RQ3JQMM/

Yeah of course. I use this PC stand. It's nothing special but it works.
switch puller you don't just yank them out. https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Mechanical-Keyboard-Removing-keyboard/dp/B075CZCTXM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1542679313&sr=8-1&keywords=switch+puller
This is a necessary failure in order for you to realize you need one of these bad boys. Shop on, my friend.
Are you looking for something like this? (Damn, the nomenclature they use makes me want to stab someone).
I think it is this product: https://www.amazon.com/Office-Depot-Mobile-Folding-16in-H/dp/B00DB8O26Q
Something like this. A block of wood would probably work too, any solid surface where your tower can stand and have some air flow.
https://www.amazon.com/Seville-Classics-10-Drawer-Organizer-Multi/dp/B008O0LKLG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478319631&sr=8-1&keywords=seville+classics+10-drawer+organizer+cart+multi+color
Cheaper and no shipping (for prime members).
Not sure this is what you are looking for. But, it will "stand it on the floor."
Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TFXO4Q4/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_9f.MDbNB3NT56
There are several different models to choose from.
this
or this
or maybe you like this one more
and this
[Here is its] (https://www.amazon.com/Executive-Office-Solutions-Mount-Notebook-Macbook-Light-Sitting-Black/dp/B00RQ3JQMM/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1506016180&sr=1-1&keywords=laptop+stand). I have to stack some books underneath it so it's high enough, but it works pretty well.
Not a DIY but how about a PC cart with wheels
>This leaves public transportation. After getting off at the bus stop, you have to bring those groceries home. And bags of rice and beans and canned vegetables and whole chickens are very, very heavy to bring a few blocks or more and then up to your walk-up.
I do that every single week. There are old ladies on my bus doing it, too.
They use these things: http://www.amazon.com/Folding-Shopping-Double-Basket-Capacity/dp/B0000UZ58C
looks clean my man! I dig the case too, it's different from the stuff you usually see on here. I see what looks like a mechanical keyboard box keeping your PC off the floor though, I know this won't add much value to the way things are currently setup since you have relatively easy access to your PC but if you switch things up and want to still keep it on the floor, 3M makes a desktop stand with caster wheels on the bottom to easily pull your PC out from under a desk, etc. It's like $20 on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KI8HKC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use one of these.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BYRO7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Bless your heat kiddo! I'm 45 and didn't get my dx until two years ago. Always had issues but not nearly as bad as yours. Could you use a bag on wheels like for groceries and moving things around the house? I've a foldable plastic cart that looks like this and you could use it to sit on when you get winded perhaps? Mine doesn't have a lid but it sure would be handy.
Sex life is possible!! Granted it's not like when I was younger but is still possible to have those fun randy moments!! And, there are therapists out there that can help you find positions that won't hurt quite so bad.
My youngest has it worse than I and Lyrica + Cymbalta has helped her so much for the day to day pains if back, neck ... life?? You might have to start out with gabapentin as it is cheaper but not everyone responds to it.
The best advice I can give you is to Advocate for yourself. Make a binder with a timeline of all your dislocations, diagnosis, medications tried and which doctor prescribed them. This gives a physician an overview quickly and piques their interest I find. Take a friend with you to your appointments! I forget to tell my doc so much and my husband will often times have to remind to tell the doc. Also, does your healthcare system have patient advocates? They can be extremely helpful as a liaison between you and your medical team.
Gosh, sorry if I overwhelmed you by rambling. Feel to PM anytime. I'm nit able to work anymore due to the EDS&POTS and taking care if my kiddos so I'm online almost every day. <hugs!!>

I put these on the desks around the house: Vector Cup Holder -- Clip-on they have saved lots of expensive stuff
Amazon Link It is an awesome stand. I can move the TV from one room to the other. Only need 1 tv now ;)
lol lucky I found it! Bought this almost 5 years ago.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006V9AUMC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you absolutely must have wheels, you can grab a tower caddy like this: https://www.amazon.com/IOCrest-Adjustable-Foldable-Flexible-SY-ACC65029/dp/B003BYRO7O/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_229_lp_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=8DQ4N4JX0RCB5QRBQTHN
If you absolutely need to elevate it, your best bet might be to get a busted old PC and repurpose the case.
It's a Halter Mesh Stand. It's really cheap but works great. Looks like Amazon Basics has a version with wire management for a few bucks more.
Saw a few people recommended moving PC to the floor, and placing on a stand. Sounded good to me as well and wanted to recommend this one
Switch pullers are like $4, or many similar pieces of metal would work. You could do it with a small screwdriver if you'e a bit creative, even. One side at a time. If you have two you're all set.
I'll be using a cooler master silencio 352 matx case. Will I need 2 of these stands or can I get by with 1? https://www.amazon.com/IOCrest-Adjustable-Foldable-Flexible-SY-ACC65029/dp/B003BYRO7O/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
Only one review stated that it fitted a cooler master n200 matx, but IDK if he was referring to 1 or 2 stands.
My PC sits in the (wood) floor. Should I get something like this for it?
iM2450 storm. I believe that's pretty much the only case that both fits the Cerberus and is within carry-on limits.
No wheels though, so I use this.
Itโs called the Vector Cup Holder. It was absolutely STUPID expensive, but I needed something because my options were to have the water bottle block my view of the monitor, get knocked over by the cats, or both. I ordered it from Amazon but I think it is also available for the same price a few other places.
Amazon link for Vector cupholder
There's no "standard" height for that. Your tower just needs to be high enough for your power supply fan on the bottom to suck up air into it. You case has little feet that put it just high enough. What I've seen most people do is find a little piece of wood that is just wide enough, or maybe a little wider than their tower, for it to sit on. Me personally, I've got a stand with wheels on it that I can't recommend enough.
Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/Syba-SY-ACC65029-Castors-Plastic-Adjustable/dp/B003BYRO7O/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1396236179&sr=1-1&keywords=pc+stand
It's got 5 wheels on it, and is a bit of a pain to smoothly roll around, but if you don't move your PC for anything other than dusting it out every so often (I do it every 2-3 weeks), it's MORE than worth it to purchase. The stand will keep your tower somewhere between 3-4.5 inches off the floor. Really hope this helps.
Personally, I have found a lot more use from the Magna Cart Flatform (or a similar product).
It is really sturdy and can carry a lot of weight, and you can stack boxes or bags on it. More than anything, I like the fact that it folds up flat so is easy to stow away.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Griffin-Elevator-Computer-Laptop-Stand/dp/B013BNHROE/ref=sr_1_16?m=A2OAJ7377F756P&s=warehouse-deals&ie=UTF8&qid=1511263929&sr=1-16&keywords=laptops&refinements=p_72%3A419153031
Think about that for a second.
Your PSU pulls air from the bottom, but it sits on the floor.
Now I'm just a big nut for air flow and cooling efficiency, but if you care about it as much as I do get this
When I got mine I just ripped the wheels out and put it under my tower. It gives about an inch of clearance from the ground which just makes me feel better about airflow.
I'm so excited for you all as well! I've reached the weird final detail stages as I'm currently gluing a plate to a candle holder to make a tall "cake stand" for our pie topper dinosaurs to go on the dessert table. I need to make one final ribbon curtain as I weirdly spazzed and thought I had already made it (nope). Need to pack all the stuff that is currently taking up the dining table (this rolling cart thing is a godsend when moving items in bins). FH and I are going on an adventure day on Tuesday to get our marriage license, a massage, and try out a float tank. Have such an awesome time at your shindigs, everyone!
It won't be hard with a keyboard support similar to this.
You should probably get a stand to put your PC on it. It can suck up too much dust and that can harm your computer.
I recommend this: https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Computer-Desktop-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=computer+stand&qid=1564690485&s=gateway&sr=8-14
I used to use a canvas tote bag, too (Land's End) and it was good before I had a laptop except for on the days when I was taking home a bunch of math journals or something. But even just a laptop in there made it pretty heavy on one shoulder.
Some of my coworkers also have this kind of thing for days when they have to take home LOTS of work (like during report-card-writing time). Depends how you're getting to/from work, though. That could be annoying on a bus.
IO Crest Black Computer Stand with Caster Wheel (SY-ACC65057) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B006V9AUMC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_XI66xbZT7VSKP
Buy a folding luggage cart
My desk came with a little caddy/tray with wheels made having a define S and r5 so much more manageable! I'm sure Ikea has something like that or even prime able you might want to look into.
Gives a few more inch ground clearance so less dust, easier to move out of the way for general vacuuming again less dust and moving it around is easier when you want to open it or plugin stuff in the back.
Something like this https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Computer-Desktop-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1564175287&sr=1-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&dpPl=1&dpID=412jA0TQ6TL&ref=plSrch I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there.

VIVO Black Rolling TV Cart for 32 to 65 inch LCD LED Plasma Flat Panel Screen | Mobile Stand with Wheels (STAND-TV03E) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TFXO4Q4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BTWnDbJHC7FSX
I have been using this stand that I purchased off of amazon for the last year. I was really impressed with the fit and finish during assembly. I have a 60" mounted to it and have nothing but good things to say about it. The convenience of being able to move it around to accommodate the optimal viewing angle from the living room, dining room and kitchen is so nice. I actually am disappointed now if I am somewhere where I don't have a perfect straight on view of the TV. The internal cable routing keeps everything on the ground and mostly out of sight, even on the back. Also, the wheels are very impressive. They appear to be too small and hard, but I have a very deep pile, shag rug and they roll across, on and off of it with ease. My only regret is I noticed they are now selling it in white, which would match better with my decor than the black one I currently have.
I'm wanting to put my PC on a small side table. I have this right now, but I'd rather have it elevated. My PC will weigh about 20-25 lbs (Fractal Nano S). Any recommendations?
I've had it for so long I'm surprised I found a link but here it is!

You're more than welcome, I'm glad to help!
I totally understand your position regarding the K63. As I said, if you already have a good pair of keyboard and mouse, that device isn't worth the investment. I only mentioned it because I thought you were more interested in a true lapboard rather than a "lap desk".
I actually purchased a couple of lap desks in the past, but with my laptop in mind: this one and this one.
The second one is really good for laptops when you're lying in bed or on the couch, but I wouldn't recommend it for kb/m use. As for the first option, it works much better as an actual desk replacement, and there's a larger sized version that could be perfect for you, depending on your intended use.
Are you planning on using that desk while sitting on the couch, like Paul does on the video I linked? Then I can vouch for it. If you're thinking about using it while lying down, however, that desk is still too "tall" and uncomfortable to use, even at its lowest height setting.
The one you linked also looks like a nice option, but I'm concerned about those legs - they look rather flimsy. If you're going to support it on a solid base, like a coffee table, it probably won't be an issue. But if you're actually balancing the table on the sofa's cushions, then I'd suggest going for something a little more robust.
Try searching for โcomputer cartโ
I have one of these in our office: VIVO Black TV Cart for LCD LED Plasma Flat Panel Stand w/Wheels Mobile fits 32" to 65" (STAND-TV03E) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TFXO4Q4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_sWgDAbJRPPCC9
You need one of those personal shopping carts!

Why not just use a something dedicated for a PC
Seriously though, I use a stand like this for my 15 R3. Metal construction so it can take the weight, with room under the laptop for charging a stack of various tablets.
How about something like this VIVO TV stand? They should also offer a flat base without the rollers but you get the idea. It's what I currently use.

I am in a one-bedroom apartment, and my sewing space is also our dining room! I'm so jealous of people with a dedicated craft room, sigh.
I bought a 2x4 Kallax unit from Ikea and put the wheels on it. Two of the eight compartments have small drawers for holding pins, my rotary cutter, zippers and other notions (currently sorted into labeled ziploc bags), and all the other small bits and bobs. The other compartments have the felty-cardboard bins to hold fabric, patterns (in comic book boards/bags), and the bigger items. I have a nail driven into the right side to hold rulers, and my craft books are lined up across the top, as well as the plastic organizers that hold my thread and embroidery floss. This is an Instagram post that shows it a bit better. Parked next to it I have an organizer cart to hold WIP's. (The link goes to a rainbow one, but mine is black, to match the Kallax unit I chose.)
My most frequently reached for items (scissors, marking pencils/pens, seam ripper) are in a coffee cup on the top of the unit, along with a container for holding waste like snipped threads, trimmed fabric scraps, etc. (It was a mason jar, now it's a pig-shaped container that used to hold lychee jelly snacks.) I also have a little box that usable scraps go in as they get cut.
I love organizing products (The Container Store is basically heaven to me), but really the big thing is having a space for everything -- and remembering to put things back into their place when you're done using them. Unfortunately, there's no magic product or trick to make that last part easier. I often have stuff scattered around when I'm actively sewing, and I have thought about making a little organizer like this one or this one, but haven't gotten around to it. I do my best to put fabric away once I'm done cutting, and sort out trash and usable scraps immediately and dump them in the proper places. I've also gotten in the habit of setting my small scissors and seam ripper on top of my sewing machine while working so I know where they are and I don't have to hunt for them under other things.
I basically let myself make a mess while actively sewing, but make myself tidy up at the end of the day so we can have our dining table back. I'm honestly not sure if I would have that discipline if I could close the door on it at the end of the day, though...
Most of the students in my program have these! I have one as well and I love it; it's become my child at this point.

I've been looking into something like this recently- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BYRO7O
There's a lot of options, just gotta find one that's sturdy and fits your needs.
It looks like something similar to this : http://www.amazon.ca/IO-Crest-Computer-Caster-SY-ACC65057/dp/B006V9AUMC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1413435907&sr=8-2&keywords=cpu+stand
If you have a big enough vehicle to carry it get a full sized folding dolly/hand truck with larger (preferably inflatable) wheels.
I have one of the smaller versions that folds up flat but the wheels are small and hard plastic that sends all the shocks from brick sidewalks or rocky surfaces straight up through my stack of gear when I'm dragging it in and makes it much easier for things to get bounced off compared to a more traditional full size dolly.
I can't fit a full size dolly in my car with my full rig so the flat pack works well enough but it can be precarious loading in across different surfaces with those smaller casters.
Table tote easily 2nd best imho. You should try out some version of this kind of stand:

No decent spot to mount, wife doesn't want in area where it would be watched. Only watch like 1x per week.
Could imagine putting on a tv stand, but need somewhere to stash that... I realize I have a ton of requirements, that's why the projector was attractive

I legit JUST bought one of these last week off Amazon so I can keep my desktop off my carpet floor... Still called a CPU Stand too! Works great...

I got this for my computer that sits on carpet under desk, it works great, and wheels allow you to easy move it to get to back of machine.

It really shouldn't fall over. Everybody I know has it normally and I have never heard of putting it on its side, but I imagine it would raise temps a bit. If you put it on the dresser you should have less issues with dust which will keep temps lower and you won't have to clean it as often. This also goes with putting it on top of the desk. If the first two aren't options then just put it under the desk but try to not have it directly on the ground. Something like this could help with that and make it easy to move around. I wish I had one of those haha I might just have to order one now that I think about it.
That's not true.
CPU was a common term for the tower. So much so that when referring to a device that holds a tower, it was often referred to as a CPU stand.
http://www.amazon.com/3M-Adjustable-CPU-Stand-CS100MB/dp/B000KI8HKC
http://www.staples.com/Staples-Premium-CPU-Stand/product_642214
http://www.newegg.com/shop/cpu-stand.html
Do you think Staples, Newegg, and 3M don't know what a CPU is? Obviously the term has become less and less used but the same argument can be made for people who use the term GPU in place of a video card. Semantics aside, what matters is usage and people's ability to recognize what the person is referring to.
Something like this?
I use a variation of this.

This. I use it to keep the computer off the carpet and allow the psu fan to function properly.
Ideally you'll want at least 2-3 inches of clearance off the ground for the sake of your PSU and 4-6 for every other side that has any sort of air flow just to make sure the air can travel properly. What I did was got a CPU stand like this one and put a plastic mat under it (like the kind you use for wheeled office chairs) to ease getting it out from under my desk for periodic cleaning/dusting.
If you want to bring your own cart, you actually can! Check out something like this. Granted, you can't put your kid in it, but you could also carry your baby/toddler in a carrier. You could also use a wagon or something like that.
I have 2 of these that I use for laptops / tablets / midi controllers and I even use for gigs to keep my laptop at eye level when I'm performing https://www.amazon.com/Halter-Ventilated-Adjustable-Laptop-Notebook/dp/B01AB1ES0A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1520999677&sr=8-3&keywords=mesh+laptop+stand

I have this one on the left that came with one of my boards. There are other specialized versions from retailers. I googled switch puller for it. It basically pinches the switch and to unclip it from the plate.
This nice
PCCPU StandSomething like this?
One of these- https://www.amazon.com/Office-Depot-Mobile-Folding-16in-H/dp/B00DB8O26Q/ref=pd_sbs_229_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00DB8O26Q&pd_rd_r=E7972N798VKEM7GWFPGK&pd_rd_w=VeIS7&pd_rd_wg=sP8FQ&psc=1&refRID=E7972N798VKEM7GWFPGK Then buy some foam from your local fabric store, some elmers glue, and some foam boards- https://www.amazon.com/Pacon-Board-Inches-16-Inch-Sheets/dp/B002NM94IC/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1501699428&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=foam+board&psc=1 You cut the foam to make your tray compartments, then glue the boards to the bottom of the foam, and you have some pretty darn sturdy customisable foam trays in a very transportable cart. I used to carry all my Hordes stuff in one(very large army, well, for Hordes). And you can always add boxes onto the top of the rolling cart and strap them on. It's cheap, sturdy, and customisable. Just not very pretty :)
My fault for not being specific, it is under my desk at the moment, it is around 65cm tall and has another 10 to play with, need to keep it under my desk as there is no room next to it.
I need something like this ideally
https://www.amazon.com/IOCrest-Adjustable-Foldable-Flexible-SY-ACC65029/dp/B003BYRO7O/ref=sr_1_4?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1506363749&sr=1-4&keywords=pc+stand
But one that fit my computer.
My desk setup is just a large, deep desk and my chair is made by Osborne ergonomics, it was made to measure, a guy came round and took a tape measure out.
But I don't use it anymore as my couch setup is just so damn comfortable for working and for gaming.
I have my monster pc on a sideboard in the living room. My seat is a two seater recliner which is a decent height off the ground and I have the back against the wall for when I want to rest my head, I also use two bed pillows. One on it's side and one sitting straight on top of that one, it's really comfortable this way and I can sit for multiple hours.
I can sit upright when typing and recline when I feel like it, especially when gaming.
To my right hand side I have a low stand which has a roccat sova mk Lapboard, I reach over to grab it etc, I also keep my controllers there.
The Lapboard is the best out of all the ones I've tried and feels perfectly comfortable and balanced when on your lap.
In front of that I have a thin table which holds cups and remotes etc.
My monitor is on a wheeled pedestal stand, I have it at just the right height for sitting up but also good for reclining, I have a soundbar on its shelf.
This is the stand I use: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074TB5MG5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_LVJTDbP271QFK
Works a treat, I cut the remaining pole off as I have it quite low, I also recommend if you go the couch and monitor route to make a cover for protection. I ordered one off amazon for standard aspect 52", cut the height in half and used industrial strength double sided tape to tidy the edges up and inserted a cut piece of card with quality microfibre to the inside.
Honestly, this is more comfortable than any desk and chair combination I've ever tried, even the most expensive, fully ergonomic ones.
Everyones back problems and pain are different. I'd recommend getting the recliner first if you decide to go that route (if possible goto a store to sit in them), then if that's comfortable going from there with the rest of the setup.
Edit:
I also, always sit on the right hand side, partly because that's where I keep everything but mainly because my problem is to do with my L5 disc, sitting to my right is much more conformable, my couch has large padded arms that I can lean into.
i just went to Amazon and same thing is LESS EXPENSIVE... thanks /u/OkamiTenrou for the suggeston... here's the link to help everyone out: http://www.amazon.com/Folding-Shopping-Double-Basket--Capacity/dp/B0000UZ58C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380940677&sr=8-1&keywords=narita+shopping+cart+with+swivel+wheels
pillows + e-tables (kinda like this) are my go-to, it's easier on the back than sitting/standing but don't expect to stay there indefinitely, after some hours you'll start to feel uncomfortable
I have this cart that i bought for my pc so it would stay off the ground : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074P76TBW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
but it haven't used it cause i want to see my glass window pane on the side :(
I bought a mobile stand that's working out pretty well. That being said it does tend to tip just a bit if you push at the top of the case.
I use this to not only lift it from the ground but also give my PC the ability to be moved around easily
I just moved one of my kid's PC's to a carpeted floor to make room for a second monitor on his desk. I used one of these stands for $11 to keep it up a bit as the case is a big Fractal Design R5 and has a fan and filters on the bottom. Been working well but still need to be cautious rolling it as it is a big case. If your case does not have bottom airflow it is probably not necessary, but does help with accessing the back panel.
If you have the S be very careful with those controllers as many report they are not as durable as the controllers from the CV1. Some find a small mat in the center of their playspace helps keep them from venturing to far.
I use one of these on my carpet:
I love it.
These things
You need a carpet stand.
I bought this stand from Amazon for my server which is housed in a Fractal Design Define XL.
Stand works well, and includes casters if you want to move it around your desk (if necessary).
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BYRO7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Pretty generic.
Not Lyft related, but I do rely a lot on walking and mass transit. Have you considered getting a rolling grocery cart like this one to make your grocery trips easier and/or buy more stuff so you have to make less trips?
This is my go-to when I pack the car:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TITK8O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I ordered: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B003BYRO7O
I like it since it has room at the bottom for the rear mounted fans to get air.
Pretty much exactly my setup, but the Volcano on the left next to the window. Very nice, but you need to get a computer stand and put that shit on the floor. Too much desk space taken up, but you don't want it to sit directly on the floor either. It's a tricky situation. Then you need a second monitor and a dual monitor stand to be a real badass. Desk space is essential.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006V9AUMC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s01
It's metal and sturdy. It also makes your computer look like it's levitating. Works great with the Fractal Design R5, but that's exactly as wide as it will get.
Serious suggestion: get a rolling crate/handcart.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000G1KTMM/ref=mp_s_a_2?pi=75x75&qid=1346501283&sr=8-2
What's an innovative way to keep my midtower ATX off of the floor? I need to move my computer underneath my desk to save space, but I want to keep it slightly off the floor to avoid it getting too dusty. Since it's a carpeted floor, I don't have need for a wheeled caddy. Also, it's not like I need to move the computer.
Maybe a small table would work? I also have a battery backup and subwoofer that I wouldn't mind better managing. Really just want a couple of inches off the floor. The tower is 20 inches tall and the space underneath the desk is 30 inches.
Have you considered buying a small folding rolling cart for your existing bag? I see technicians and sales people use them all the time. Attaching the cart to the bag just means you'll have to replace both when one wears out. http://www.amazon.com/Samsonite-Luggage-Compact-Folding-Black/dp/B004B9V1R2
Or just get this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BYRO7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
One option to deal with the TV is to use a cart that can be wheeled into another room or closet when not in use. It makes the room a lot more flexible (and attractive). They can be had for under $100 on amazon.
(note: I don't have that one, so I can't speak to the quality, but reviews seem positive)
K on the mount, then get this:
