I've got This one.

It's a great chair for the money. Good back/lumbar support, breathable material, adjustable arms. All round really nice chair and comfortable for long sessions.

If you have any questions about it i'd be happy to answer them.

u/redwoodser · 6 pointsr/philadelphia

thanks for telling the little fascists to fuck themselves. if you want this office chair, SERIOUS, let me know, it will be delivered to your location, or somewhere near you. i remember reading a while ago about how you worked from home (sometimes) and didn't have a comfortable chair.

The best affordable and comfortable gaming chairs I've found are a class of chair, called church chairs. They support heavier weights. This is what I would order if I were to replace my existing chairs if they were to spontaneously combust into ashes.

> stand for many hours

Standing in place for long durations (which is mostly what the natural tendency is to do in a long open-world game like this) isn't much more ergonomically healthy than sitting in place for many hours.

For optimal health, and comfort, when remaining largely stationary it's best to alternate between sitting and standing over the course of many hours.

I've tried "wobble" stools with Skyrim and VR in general, and while those give you more of the sense of immersion that standing does (since you can use them at a rather high height), they're a bit distracting due to the cable potentially getting caught up around the base as it rocks around. If I had a TPCast setup, then stools like these would be my first choice. When I use mine, I still alternate between sitting (more like perching, given its height) and standing though.

Taking cables into account, I've personally found the best setup to be an ordinary padded chair with no arms combined with periodically switching between sitting/standing.

Upgrade the furniture of the lodge. Set donor amounts to get name plaques. Watch everyone want to get plaques with their name on parts of their lodge.

Upgrading the normal chairs in the dining room to something upscale corporate or hotel level is easy.

Everyone wants their name engraved on a plaque on the back of a chair.

Another option if you have the space: Lodge Gaming Table. I see pool tables and foosball tables go ignored. But Gaming tables for tabletop gaming build weekly gaming groups around them.

You have your point, But, instant of buying a new one you may consider those option https://www.amazon.com/Stroke-Replacement-Drafting-Cylinder-Pneumatic/dp/B01B1SM9O4

that's way you can save lot's of money. But, If you truly made your mind to buy a high back chair, Go for it. Happy setting

I'm 6 foot tall and a little over 300lb, this is the chair I bought 6 months ago. LINK

I spend most of the day and evening at my desk (ref 300+ lb!) The back of the chair being open mesh is nice and cool. The gas strut is rated for way more weight than I am. I'm not sure if it's available in the US as I got it from Amazon UK.

This would probably be pretty comfortable. And it's adjustable.

I got one of these for at work....and it does wonders for me. And under the $100. Comfortable imo. Have a bad back myself. Hope this helps.

I'm getting a new chair after Christmas and can't decide between these 2.

Which one would you recommend?

u/Ovidhalia · 1 pointr/battlestations

I don't know their budget (or their location) but there's no shortage of them on places like Amazon. They could spend a lot on a white Embody or Sayl or they could get something like this chair from Amazon which looks pretty similar to the one the OP has in black. Its not the most ergonomic chair but on the low end it's better than what she's using.

u/DJMooray · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I was looking at this one is it good?

I'd give it 4 out of 5. Can recommend but surely you can find better if you are willing to spend bit more.

u/Flipsyde127 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Probably one of the most recommended chairs for under $100. Super comfortable and decent to assemble.

I am currently getting this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004OR13NS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
Now it's on sale I can safely say that it is worth it!
Otherwise, look for used chairs, as long as you do your research, you can bag a hell of a deal.

$75.

I recently bought this (actually 2 days ago) and I'm loving it! It's big, is a flexible chair in that it's not a static chair. You can flex yourself back and it bends. Has height settings with handle. It's fairly comfy for it's price point. I can take my feet off the ground and snuggle in this thing and watch movies/etc on my PC. I like it a lot.

And the assembly takes 15-20 mins (no additional tools required on your end of course) it's so easy. Good luck on whatever you end up with!

I bought the same one a month ago, and don't recommend it. Overall it's great, but the cushion on the arm rest is terrible. There are deep impressions on the arm rest (both sides) exactly where I usually rest my elbows after only a months use.

u/wanderlust_0 · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

awesome. thanks so much. i'll go do this soon. there's a hardware store that's a 5 min walk.

So Do i get washers or nuts? aren't washers super thin? Do you think I could get 2 inches out of this? How about even more like 4 inches?

Here is my chair:

It's a pretty large one. Will the tork be too much when leaning back on the washers?

PS: there's tons of youtube videos that show people easily removing the gas cylander from office chairs. but i've tried on the two i have and it's impossible even when I'm swinging the hammar so hard it almost damages the chair.

Looking for a high quality office chair at or below $150.

The biggest factor in my choice is the most healthy/ergonomic for long sits behind the desk.

I don't really like the look of the "gaming/racing style" chairs, but a little bit of a sporty flair to it is cool by me.

The best I've found so far are:

Not from pepperfry but I have bought study/office chair from amazon. this one (I probably got it for ~7k after discount/deal).

Recently I bought 2 chairs from local wholesale manufacturer. It's very similar to green soul. I got it for 4400₹/ chair after bargaining. Only problem with these chairs is sweating. For that you can go for mesh version.

In my opinion gaming chairs also provides very good comfort. ergo/gaming chair But prices are high and unless you are spending long hours on chair, you don't need to spend that much money. Gaming chairs from circle are also good.

u/TheAethiestCleric · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

NOT A GAMING CHAIR

So, just get a comfy sturdy chair. Like those racing seat "gaming" chairs are mostly crap and come with a huge premium for what is essentially looks.

I game on this, buts that's partially a matter of its weight limit (I weighed a LOT more when I bought it)

u/Racist_Cornflake · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

a friend of mine bought this one

It seems to be going pretty well for him. It is really comfortable and can lean back. Worst case if you don't like it you can always return it.

u/perpetualsaltfish · 1 pointr/whatisthisthing

That first one is pretty close... though they're both a bit out of my price range. I found another one similar with legs that I might be able to remove, would you happen to know how that might affect the structural integrity? This is the one I was looking at http://smile.amazon.com/Flash-Furniture-BT-1404-WH-GG-Leather-Reception/dp/B007F9C5A2/ref=sr_1_43?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1404443975&sr=1-43&keywords=armchair

u/xevian · 1 pointr/sysadmin

Use to be any normal chair worked for me. Once my back started showing the signs of being unsupported man that hurt. It began in my early 30s, and my 20s I never had an issue with my back and a random chair. I guess I have been using an unsupported chair for long enough my body is noticing it.

I bought a very sturdy one from Amazon for under a bill:

I got this on Amazon UK about two years ago for £60, actually really enjoyed it, until the recline broke.

u/NoInvincibleArmies · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

This, this, and this, are some good cheap choices for a new chair around $100. For the $200-$300 dollar range, this is comfortable and well made, and this is essentially a leather chair on a swivel, will last long, but no back support. If you still want a DX Racer, here's a DX Racer chair from their Formula series, but cheaper than on their website. Lastly, this is something very similar to the DX Racer, with about the same reviews. I'll leave you to decide between those.

My newest accessory that I don't know how I went without for so long, Uplift Motion Stool.

It's an adjustable height stool with a heavy rounded bottom so you can freely move around. You can also set it really high, lean it forward and sit on it like a tripod so you are basically standing but most of your weight is distributed back onto the stool, which was extremely cool in Windlands 2 because I felt that much more weightless while swinging around.

Another good thing is it keeps you centered in one spot so you never have to worry about knocking things over or hitting stuff. I don't even need to have my guardian turned on at this point.

I highly suggest this stool to all VR gamers because it definitely made games more enjoyable for me.

I got a K & M Performance Stool, and it wasn't cheap either, but it was one of the best investments I've made. I absolutely love it. Seems to be built very well, and I'm a good 18 months in, and looks and feels like new, so hoping it will last a long time.
