Here's a link to it on Amazon. :D
AZ is pretty open right now as far as that goes. When it's hot out I tend not to light a fire regardless...
[These lights have been amazing for light at night.]
(https://www.amazon.com/GardenDecor-Waterproof-Festival-Christmas-Interface/dp/B07D3QDF17/ref=sr_1_41?crid=254E2SFXY5I5A&keywords=led+usb+string+lights&qid=1573587898&sprefix=led+usb+string+%2Caps%2C182&sr=8-41)
First...check with your apt community about making changes.
Some places dont really care...some do care about uniformity.
If they don't care...I'd run string lights.
Hang LED Edison lighting from the ceiling rafters. If you took your time, you could probably run a power cord up the corner clipping into onto the siding...and it wouldn't look all that bad.
Also...check out the Ikea patio floor tiles. Would look way better than the concrete
These lightweight plastic LEDs are more ornamental and not the brightest lights going. And we have lanterns, LED flashlights, and hiking headlamps too. The wife wanted something easily clipped onto the Batwing and these work well.
For backpacking I’d want something sturdier, I could see these cracking if not packed within a hardshell case.

The link goes to "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HCTCHHK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_a-AjybEHCQ5SF". I'm no computer expert, but this looks like an Amazon referral code embedded within that link: "ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_a-AjybEHCQ5SF". If that's a referral code, that means somebody is making money off each Amazon purchase (and not just for that item, as the referral cookie stays on the person's computer for other Amazon purchases). I note that the link works without that extra portion, but yet its there. Perhaps someone can explain as its hard to believe a mod would do that, but look at the source.
Half of the color in the light is actually the color of the hula hoop. I used a battery powered white fairy light wrapped around a red and yellow hula hoop. I hit the trigger at the height of throw and cut it as soon as it hit the ground and the camera was at F2.8 with an ISO of 800 if i remember correctly.
You just inspired me to get some lights. Just ordered these lights from Amazon.
i saw a couple of string lights on amazon black friday deals of the day today:
33' fairy lights
33' multi color fairy lights
8 3' fairy lights
72' solar lights
72' solar lights warm white
Now all you need is to line the inside of the case with this, and change it to red: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A5DDDE6/

IMHO warm light string lights similar to these make things super cozy. Can hang them with command strips that (supposedly) don't leave marks on the wall.
I use battery operated ones. They light up the inside of a canopy surprisingly well and have plenty of power with 6 AA batteries for each string. Two of these are enough to cover the inside of a 10x10 and they have a timer built in so they turn off and on automatically.
My life would greatly improve with This bathroom set because ours is falling apart and looks like crap, or This table because our current one is a safety hazard to our three children or a weight set to get into shape.
Somethings I think you should add to your list are: one, two, three, because I noticed you like camping as well. We try to camp as often as possible it is just so relaxing getting to get away from everything for a weekend.
You can just delete the "ref" part from the URL and it still works.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HCTCHHK/
These would look nice on my tent while I camp all spring long!
A cheap idea that he might like for a night light, that you may possibly already have on hand are holiday lights! We used a string of holiday lights for awhile, and then not long ago found some discounted colorful lantern party light type things that he really likes. I think he enjoys it so much due to being able to hang them up around his bed.

Edit:
Here's the kind of lantern lights I'm talking about.
But I'm pretty sure we paid no more than $5 for them on sale at some place like dollar general or walmart. I would definitely not pay $20 from amazon!
We used 3 strands of these under our EZ-up last year and could see in our tent and whole campsite without needing a lantern. http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-2000001475-LED-String-Lights/dp/B001TSCDBQ
You're probably not going to find an off the shelf kit that just does what you're asking for. But you can find the parts you need and with a small amount of effort you can make it work.
https://www.amazon.com/Ustellar-Waterproof-Changing-Brightness-Operated/dp/B072C265SW
These look to be pretty good RGB fairy lights. Buy some, find out what voltage they're driven at and then just hook them up in parallel to a network connected LED driver that can handle the current for 30 meters of the stuff.
Had a friend that did a totoro nursery. Have you seen this night light?

Amazon! and then I have these star ones in my bedroom.
This is a known problem with the 5 meter one. The 2 meter is unaffected.

Its in german, so rely on google translate :)
Also people on Amazon report the same:

You could also use mini led wire lights. I used them for my outfits at edc last year. The battery pack is pretty small and they come in different colors. I think there's a guy on etsy that sells them. Here's an example from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017SMQV1E/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?qid=1463329802&sr=8-11&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=mini+led+wire+lights

Really like mellow light.

On our new trailer we have the factory bright white LED strip which I am not a fan of.

Ive got 2 sets of these, warm white and red, that I have glued around the top of the canopy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J444DMY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It works well for soft lighting in the truck. If I was to redo the lighting i would use these instead, and power them with USB power packs. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWMIT4P/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The photo itself is 2 seperate photos blended together, one exposed for the lighting outside the truck, and one inside the truck.
Upvoted because this helped me discover these, but I ended up going with this for my needs (2-day prime):

soooo it's this: https://www.amazon.com/Oak-Leaf-Bedroom-Wedding-Decoration/dp/B01COLV0I8 ???
I'm no professional, but I feel like you could do a lot with these parts:
Empty Case:

LED Lighting
https://www.amazon.com/BrillGlow-Multi-colored-Background-Waterproof-Controller/dp/B01A5DDDE6?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1
You could probably combine these three parts, in various sets of configurations to build something "Hollywood"
I used this for some inspiration

Last question, which of these two would provide more illumination?
I like the first because they're not glass and are cheaper, but if the second make the room brighter, then I'll go for it:

I haven't attempted outdoor lighting yet but I can imagine this would be a fair amount of work, especially without a structure. I wonder if you could use the TS-99B stands with a bracket on top to hold them up around a perimeter? Or maybe pipe/drape poles and base plates. Zigzag over the audience? I don't know how you'd do that due to the weight. For reference, I put these up on the pergola behind my house and they are really nice... https://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-Commercial-Dimmable-Weatherproof-Connectable/dp/B01LYXQYU5/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1517583818&sr=8-13&keywords=outdoor+string+lights
I bought them at Home Depot under the Hampton Bay brand. But they are rather heavy. I have them supported by small hooks at every bulb which was a little overkill but it's a permanent install. You'd need stands fairly close together or cabling like Kameix1 mentioned to support the weight. Pricing doesn't sound terrible at around $650 but the liability has me on edge.
These are pretty nice:
https://www.amazon.com/Brightech-Ambience-Outdoor-Weatherproof-Commercial-String-Lights/dp/B01IQVWJIA
24 feet, 7 bulbs. Also available in 48 foot, 15 bulb assemblies.
100Ft Outdoor Patio String Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DNQCZH8
I used this then cut off the end to my desired length.
I'm surprised no one mentioned what I would consider to be the easiest/most obvious solution: solar-powered lights. Something like this -
https://www.amazon.com/GDEALER-Powered-Waterproof-Christmas-Decoration/dp/B01GCBP636/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479310677&sr=8-1&keywords=christmas+lights+solar+powered
Though they come in a multitude of offerings. Battery on these is usually large enough to keep them going through most of the night. Works great in my case
>Happy to help, homey. Wasn't trying to say it should be obvious to you, just that I was only going over some of the basics.
Don't worry; no offense taken!
>so get one of those tall paper lantern floor lamps form Ikea
Why a paper lantern floor lamp, specifically? I don't have anything against it, but I'm curious why you mention it! I was going to just go with a regular floor lamp with one of those upside down cone things on top (can you tell I have no idea what I'm talking about?), but that was just by default. I haven't really given the lamp or the dresser much thought when it comes to design.
>You can put some fairy light/christmas lights over the windows too, but make sure their white or just off-white, not something with multicolors. There are very nice looking versions with larger Edison bulb type lamps instead of the classic Christmas lights, those will look swanky and rustic.
I'll definitely be adding some fairy lights above my bed as this has been suggested by other users as well. I can't seem to find many good options for Edison bulb string lights besides this one. I probably don't want to spend more than $25 on the string lights.
>Sheets, I think you want a classic white, a solid medium grey, and then you can go with like a light blue, a dark red, or whatever suits your fancy. You don't have to go super high thread count, just go to target and get their basic sheet sets. Get one nice comforter/duvet and two covers for it so you can change them out for cleaning. White and grey with a texture would be my advice. Get like four actual pillows and then a few decorative pillows. This is already getting expensive so build this up as you go. If you have a guest in your bed you want to make sure they never want to leave your clean, fluffy nest of joy.
This is going to sound like a dumb question, but why do I need so many sets of sheets? I also could use a quick summary of the difference between comforters and duvets, as well as covers and sheets. If this is something that Google could explain better, then feel free to let me know. Do you have any suggestions for pillows as far as cost, firmness, and material? I bought some cheap ones from Target that seem to get the job done, but I think I'm ready for an upgrade.
>If you have a guest in your bed you want to make sure they never want to leave your clean, fluffy nest of joy.
I love this! I definitely want my room to be the most attractive place in the household (almost magnetic) when I bring over someone who I'm interested in.
>Someone else suggested moving the bed length-wise against the window wall and moving the head flush up against the cross wall. That sounded like a good plan. However it will look condensed. Having the bed where you have it looks more grand and impressive.
Do you mean where I have it in the picture? I already rotated the bed to the wall with the cross on it, but I haven't pushed it into the corner because I was thinking of putting a nighstand there. It gives a little more room between the bed and the closet, but it does create this long space between the bed and the wall with the window. However, I think that space will look more natural and "filled in" once I add some plants below the window along the wall ledge. I'll do some experimenting once I actually buy some of these things.
>Sounds like you've gotten a lot of good advice from everyone here. Post some after pictures once you get it fixed up a bit more. Good luck!
Yes I have! Every piece of advice I've gotten here has been useful to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I haven't even bought anything yet (besides the guitar mounts), and I'm already excited to post update pictures!
>Almost forgot, get a nice soft rug for the floor. If you're in the Midwest like I think you are, you may get some cold winters. A nice comfy rug on the floor will make standing on the floor in the morning a lot more pleasant and will, as they say, tie the room together.
Agreed. Any suggestions for the material? Size? Store?

Alguna parte que venda luces de navidad RGB?
Algo así pero que no implique comprar en amazon
It really depends on how you want to accomplish it. In a something like mine scenario will be around $200 depending if you find a deal (Philips hue stuff is having discounts in different retail stores and amazon lately):
- Starter pack 4 bulbs with hub: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Ambiance-Equivalent-Compatible-Assistant/dp/B07351P1JK/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=philips+hue&qid=1572475712&sr=8-9
- Philips hue lightstrip plus: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Hue-Ambiance-LightStrip-Assistant/dp/B07GWKB1ZS/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=philips+hue+lightstrip&qid=1572476040&sr=8-4

However, if you have a smaller setup and based on what you said, you can go with around $150 depending on pricing available:
- Philips hue lightstrip plus with hub: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-LightStrip-Compatible-Assistant-Lightstrip/dp/B07KPBS8FV/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=philips+hue+lightstrip+plus&qid=1572475791&sr=8-7
- Add 1 or two Philips hue bulbs: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Hue-Bluetooth-compatible-Assistant/dp/B07QV9XB87/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=philips+hue&qid=1572475815&sr=8-6
