(Part 2) Best oxford & derby boots for men according to redditors

i know they're kinda overstated here but get a pair of Iron Rangers by Red Wing. I just got my first pair yesterday (after falling in love with their Beckman's) and they are by far the best purchase I've made. Below I've linked the two styles I have, but obviously both boots come in multiple styles.

those are not Iron ranger, since IR does not have zippers on the side of the boots.

They're cap toes boot, that is for sure, the brand is i am not sure. I tried googling all saints cap toes boots, but none matching.

These are just the ones by doing a search on Amazon for "wingtip boots" sorting by price, and scrolling through less than a page. You and the other people downvoting away and arguing are all just unwilling to accept that this boot has dropped in quality, isn't the only boot that looks like this for the price, and therefore isn't the amazing buy it used to be. It's not the worst boot in the world, but don't pretend it's some superb value. It's a crappy leather boot at a crappy leather boot price. If you want leather that's going to show its age within the first 10 wears, then get these, but don't try to oversell them saying "they're the only option at this price."

Go with the wolverine if you want beautifully made and functional leather boots. Amazon has most of their products if you want to check out

Not to say 511 and Timberlands aren't beautifully made and functional, but they wouldn't be as easy to fap to as Wolverines

That's a tough one, especially if you're referring to serious rain, sleet, etc. I like Bean Boots for serious inclement weather, but they aren't office-appropriate and you'd have to bring along a second pair of shoes. That's what I do. If you're strongly opposed to that, you could also look into a pair of boots with rubber soles (Red Wings, for ex) or a pair of slip-on rubber overshoes.

Slim fit (for someone your size) pearl snap or flannel button up.

The biggest thing you want to avoid is wearing clothes that hang off of you. Not only do it accentuate the fact you're thin, but it is often seen as lower class. If you want people to think you're respectable, make sure they think you can afford clothes that fit, not your older brother's hand me downs.

I think moc toe boots look stupid. Am I in the minority?

I'm trying to find some winter boots that are not boring, so I'm looking for suggestions. I commute by transit so water resistance is key.

Currently stuck between Sorels which seem built for winter and suede Wolverines that are much better looking but would need to be waterproofed.

Interestingly, the boots now are shown with a wool lining and not the original shearling lining!
