This is the case they are talking about

Or for $50 less you can buy one of wireless photo printers Kodak has been making for years.

I haven’t watched the episode yet so I don’t know if that’s what you mean when you say “photo printer” but I just wanted to say that I got gifted the “Polaroid mobile mini printer” for my birthday two years ago and I love it! You simply connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and it prints pictures in surprisingly high quality :)

u/krskilltherhythm · 5 pointsr/VaporwaveMiniDiscs

One of the things that’s been most fun for me with vaporwave Minidiscs has been putting together MDs for albums I enjoy, and especially picking/editing/the cover art and spines for each of them - so I thought I’d share a few of the customs I’ve made, and see if other people wanted to share how they make their own!

I got a pack of MDW80BC discs (the “Basic” clear ones) from Japan for blanks, and I’ve been using a Polaroid ZiP printer to print out artwork. It prints on sticker paper that I stick on the inside of the case labels - they fit the dimensions pretty perfectly, so it’s quick and easy!

The second picture in the album has all the custom VWMDs I’ve made so far. The top row is three of my favourite climatewave/signalwave releases:

In the mean time you could use something like this. It's a bit round about but it would get the job done.

I think this is a great idea! I wanted one desperately then i found this: https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-Smartphone-Printer-SP-2-Silver/dp/B01J4K0THK/ref=sr_1_11?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1523289712&sr=1-11&keywords=polaroid+printer

Basically its a way to make instax of the photos she has already taken on her phone.

u/kschang · 3 pointsr/AndroidQuestions

No, but you don't need the whole Internet... Just a WiFi Access Point (that's not connected to anything except power).

Basically, give her one of your old routers. it doesn't need Internet. Just hide it on top of a cabinet and connect it with power, and give it a proper SSID with password and such. Log the printer into it (most printers are WiFi nowadays) then setup your tablet to access that WiFi. No Internet, but you don't need it.

If you can live with smaller photos... This Canon has its own WiFi "access point mode" so you don't even need that router "in between"

I'm currently looking into the HP Sprocket.

u/ingepurl · 3 pointsr/Journaling

Thank you! And the photos are from an Instax SP2 printer. You use an app to print photos from anywhere!

u/tsdguy · 3 pointsr/iphone

It's not the first instant camera case. This is Prynt's second model. Here's a link to the original https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017BK9RXC

Very cool! I bought the spouse a Polaroid Zip 2 years back, and I feel like it would be perfect for this kind of stuff! I've got some tap handle threads, a bunch of magnets, and plenty of scrap wood, so maybe I'll take a run at this setup!

u/imaoconfusedrn · 2 pointsr/photography

Try a portable photo printer. They work through Bluetooth. Everyone takes pics with their phones all night & on the way out you have this setup on a table with a cool board of some sort & have them print it out and stick it to the board.

I'm thinking the sign has a very small plotter built into the space between the frame and the board- if you look at the chalk board there seems to be a gap between the frame and board. I think the chalkboard is wired into a tablet somewhere so that whatever is drawn on the tablet is also drawn on the chalkboard.

Then you have the guy- he could do it with somthing like this
which could be linked to a custom android app that syncs whatever is scribbled onto the screen to both the chalkboard and the card. From there the card would also get whatever the words are and Jimmy Fallon's signature.

Are you sure you want an instant camera?

Maybe you just want an instant printer you can print shots from your phone to ?

They exist as well

u/Ciryamo · 2 pointsr/Cameras

I'm not that into polaroid cameras (yet) and my knowledge is limited to the 600 series but:

The old 600 ones don't really break. Heavy plastics are used and the technology is quite simple.

They are all basically toys and won't give you any quality like anything you can buy today.
Plastic lenses, mostly fixed focus and fixed aperture.

They are just fun to play with and can be very cheap second-hand.

The one you've linked to is basically a refresh of those old ones. Maybe try find an old one before spending tons of money. Film is also not cheap.

I don't know of any camera that does am immediate digital copy and I don't think that's technically possible.

There is a little printer device however that can print your smartphone pictures in polaroid style paper. It's pretty expensive afaik.

I custom ordered the yard sale sign here:
https://www.buildasign.com/CustomSigns/browse-featured-signs?s=2&m=8

got 2 for $25 with a deal.

Pictures are printed from a Polaroid ZIP Bluetooth printer. The pictures are sticky and cost about $.50/pic.

> I'm not sure if there is a Instant Camera that allows you to view your image before you print it?

You're (kinda) in luck, the new Fuji Instax SQ10 fits that bill: it's a digital camera which can print instant photos after you view them, add filters, etc. The bad news is it's $250. Also the square film is brand new, so it's more expensive than the more common Mini film.

Otherwise you're looking at something like the Canon Selphy or Instax SP-2 which hooks into your smartphone via Bluetooth and takes Instax Mini film.

Yea, that is what I thought. Thanks for your feedback. We just started using this printer: https://www.amazon.com/Brother-VC-500W-Versatile-Wireless-Networking/dp/B07KWW7RH6/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=label+printer+color&qid=1555972307&s=gateway&sr=8-3

We are putting them on the top of the lid on the laptop for both the customer and it has our number and email address. We put it on so when open someone the lid then someone sitting across from them will see our info. Acts as advertisement for us and at the same time provides support for the end user and lost and found info for someone that might recover it.

The labels are waterproof, scratch proof and have a gloss to them. They seem to be pretty tough. Time will tell!

Also for naming conventions we name all laptops wireless-## and Desktop-##. Servers get names based on the roles like companyfileserver or companysqlserver. We never name a device after a person just for the reasons mentioned.

Thanks again! J

Something like this?

Be sure to check the price per print. Unless you want a very fast turn around, print shops can often print cheaper.

Isolating this between the Instax Mini Camera - https://www.target.com/p/fujifilm-instax-mini-9-camera/-/A-53804280?preselect=54084371

&

the Instax Mini Link Printer - https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-Mini-Link-Smartphone-Printer/dp/B07XYPBKT9

Both uses the same Fuji mini film. Say you took a picture of the same object/same lighting (Maybe I'm not understanding this) - but simply put...are the print quality different between the two?

u/jrd22566 · 1 pointr/China

If you are in a nice hotel in Shanghai or Beijing, my experience is that you won't have a problem getting it printed out. But if you are bicycling cross country in the middle of Hubei and have to involve the police to convince the hotel staff that you can stay in the hotel, and maybe even operate the registration system yourself, the probability that there is a working printer connected to the system is much lower. Bring a portable printer under such circumstances if you need the document.

u/mmaaddii · 1 pointr/Polaroid

Instax makes a photo printer.

Impossible Project made one for polaroid film for a minute a few years ago but I don't believe they make them anymore.

Best bet is ; https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-INSTAX-SP-2-Printer-Silver/dp/B01GTKG6RA

u/huffalump1 · 1 pointr/photography

Fuji Instax Wide is a good choice. Instant cameras and film aren't cheap though, and the lens has limited zoom. And you can't control the shutter speed so you'll have to get good at panning.

You could get a digital camera and an instant printer like this: https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-INSTAX-SHARE-SP-2-Printer/dp/B01GTKG5Z8

u/KTHD · 1 pointr/DIY

Plus there's also this camera...which is a little more convenient.

u/jackoff_thebatman · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

So this isn't exactly what you are asking for, but you might have a lot of interest in it.

my husband got me this printer for christmas it's cute, but it only prints small sticker photos. What the hell am I going to use it for?? I got a hard back journal with a fox on it to write down mile stones as they come. Because the pre made baby books really suck. Also the more room you have to write the more individual you can make it.

Feb 4 OMG You are walking!

Feb 14 OMG sit down and shut up!!

You know? You can write letters to the baby, and write down funny things they say as they grow up.

But now I have pictures all through it! I have pics of holidays, I have pics of first time standing, sitting, ect. It's truly amazing. I love it soo soo much!

u/leaw_bha · 1 pointr/AskPhotography

I have a Polaroid Zink printer- an older version though. It's pretty good.

u/travellingmonk · 1 pointr/photography

Classic film camera? Canon AE-1 Program with 50mm f/1.4 FD lens. If you want autofocus, Canon EOS 620 and 50mm f/1.4 EF lens. Point and shoot? Maybe the Yashica T3... never tried one myself but heard good things about it.

If you want prints, you could always just use your phone and a portable printer like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Polaroid-Mobile-Printer-Printing-Technology/dp/B00TE8XKIS

I haven't used one myself but again have heard good things. I've used a Canon Selphy printer before, which prints bigger 4x6 (the Polaroid only prints 2x3) prints. While it's portable, it's still rather big compared to Polaroid.

u/yomerol · 1 pointr/gaming

Actually isaw this there other day, I almost bought it but then realized that I don't want random printed pictures
