It's not exactly a deal at twice the price, but if you'd rather lug your problem solver along with your paralyzers in one stylish "conceal carry case" you might want to look at this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T4XOYKQ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Are what I use for 1-2 pistols. But 200 rounds of ammo isn't fitting. I generally travel with 2x 15 round mags and 1x17 for my G19 in this case.

Case Club and Plano have some less expensive options.

Original case with a padlock around it will likely not cut it. Read the articles I posted for more info. The jist is, if the TSA agent can pry the case open and touch any part of the firearm, yer fucked.

Ammo needs to be secured, not loose. In mags is fine.

I'd argue that this is just as easy to break into and those are totally okay and used by everyone. I see a dozen of them at IPSC matches.

I use these to keep pistols both secured and nearby in my home. Just make sure you're comfortable with punching in the unlock code in a hurry.

Olight's cases are one of their best features. A Pelican micro case or a small pistol case like this might be a good substitute.

I don't have 4 pistols but the way i set them up I can fit 3 for sure, maybe 4 depending on how many mags you also want to carry in the box. right now I just have a Glock 19 and 20 in here with 2 rows of 4 mags for each handgun. made another space for a maglula loader for the time being ...Flambeau case

Get something like this and place your empty gun in there. Gun rugs like this are tapered at the barrel end so you can place it on the table facing downrange when you鈥檙e retrieving it and avoid getting yelled at. Helps you follow the rule about not pointing a gun, even if you know it鈥檚 cleared, at anyone/anything you don鈥檛 want to destroy. Have fun in the class and don鈥檛 be afraid to ask questions.

I use this as a flight bag, it's surprisingly well made for $25: https://www.amazon.com/Drago-Gear-Double-Pistol-Case/dp/B073PJHBCV

I don't know your style. But there are a lot of pistol cases out there that I'd give a try. Like this one:

How about this one? and which size would be best for 404- 18", medium, or XL?

Get a quick access safe for the handgun, mount it next to your bed. Get a gun cabinet for the long guns and any other ammunition or handguns. Neither of those are "safes" in that they won't even slow down a determined thief but they will keep them out of most peoples hands. For a "real safe" the minimum price starts at around $3k.

Is she primarily a pistol shooter, or a rifle shooter? For handgun days, I'm pretty happy with my Blackhawk Sportster Deluxe. My only gripe is that it's more than a little wide and bulky, but the plus side of that is that it'll hold just about whatever you'd want to pack in there.

For rifles, I strongly recommend the NcSTAR Double Carbine Case (or the Double Subgun Case for AR pistols and similarly-sized guns). I have the 42" bag, as well as the subgun bag, and I have zero complaints. The bags aren't excessively bulky, but they have more than enough storage space, and I'm a big fan of their general design.

Silicone Oil vs ABS -> I recently bought this gun sock as a keyboard sleeve. Should I get nervous about how the silicone oil treated fabric will interact with my keycaps?

I recently bought the following for my Glock 19 Gen 3, and I'm loving it. For $25, it's perfect for as a range bag for up to 2 pistols.

For earmuffs, I second the Howard Leight ones.

TL:DR - Yes.

I started with a Seahorse case. At first I started with 84HP rails and corner brackets from home depot. These just dropped right in on the inner lip and allowed me to close the case. I used velcro to keep them from sliding around. I was trying to avoid drilling into the case. I used Trogotronic DIY Power kits and just had the power cord tucked inside. This worked great until I realized I was losing HP and that I could probably add a 1U row.

So...I 3D printed some rack ears, bought longer rails and cut those to size. I still used velcro to hold it all in place. The Seahorse case is really deep though so I later built my own case.

If you want the plans for the ears send me a PM. If I were to do it different I would place the holes a bit lower on the rails so I could have kept everything patched with the lids closed.
