This is our dining room that my girlfriend and I designed! I’m very excited to share it with you - a zen home has always been a dream for me (one that I never expected to achieve). Our first room that we would like to share with you is our dining room.

I kind of agree that the plastic ones look cheap. My friend actually had these gold doilies in place of chargers that I thought looked really elegant. You ever see one of the 1/12 Scale kits?? They apparently still come on frame runners and are like five feet tall, but are just scaled up versions of the original Gundam kit.

That is a table/placemat. For reals. Go to anywhere that sells fancy home decor/furnishings or even crafts type stores.

wiggins weaving house was the name of Wiggins tavern in NORTHAMPTON,MASSACHUSETTS. It's now a hotel decorated in items similar to the one you have. A placemat was sold on amazon for $12.

My suggestion, If i was going to put this on consignment id buy one of the postcards, the most rustic looking one. find a wooden stained box that looks niceand is just big enough where the blanket doesn't pop the lid open and print out a history of the tavern and the weaving parts of it as well as it's currant use as a hotel on very rustic paper (craft stores have it). Sell it as a piece of Americana and you could reach a price of $130-150. It might sit for a while and this is something you do not want as an auction (you'd be lucky to get $15 that way. if you are going to just sell the blanket you might get, if lucky $40-60

I actually got mine in an art shop. If you don't find them at all you could actually order them online. Here's a link to the same exact ones like I bought.

I feel like round corner square or (1or3)round corner trapezoid would look nice maybe even something simple as an (2)oval placemats

My cats have the SmartyKat Purrfect Play Activity Mat and Crinkle Chute. SmartyKat also has crinkle sacks.

It is easy and inexpensive. You can change them out for fall or spring if you want to. That's when I usually change things around. The table runners I have now are from Simhomsen, but Amazon has a ton of them. You may want something a bit more modern, I have a more conservative look to my place. Just look up table runners and placemats...you'll see plenty to choose from.

I use this mat. I had originally gotten it for my daughter when she was younger, but she hated it, do I use it for my makeup table. It's non slip on both sides, so it works out for not sliding all over the place, and if I get powder or something on it, it doesn't blow all over the place and I can clean it up easy.
