Came across these at a store I wasn't expecting, which was ironic as I was looking around toys r us for the nick wilde infinity figurine. Only have two judy's, but that's okay. Much cheaper then I expected also!

The elephant portion of him is he will trumpet, "toot toot" a dejected trumpet and other various elephant noises. Seems to be around 6 different noises keeping with what Judy and Nick do. However, he has 12 different sounds total for both personalities.

 

Some back story on the mechanism. When you purchase him, his elephant nose/trunk is tagged to his face. Just cut and remove them, the mechanism for the elephant portion is in the trunk. For some reason, mine still goes off now and then, even when he has shed his disguise and the tags are cut. Same tags as what secures him in the box used there.

 

You can also tuck his elephant disguise behind in some velcro pockets it appears, so he just has his elephant body on and nothing else. Very detailed in what they put into the design!

 

Shed his elephant costume and he says the following as Finnick:

 

"Small mammal, big heart baby"

 

"Okay, one hug"

 

"Yeah, I'll give you a toot toot"

 

"She hustled you good"

 

"Did I hear you? I'm 95% ears"

 

"I'm a grown mammal, Fennec Fox"

 

And something I have never seen in a long long time, replaceable batteries for all of them. Yep, there is a velcro portion in the back to allow the battery pack to come out with both and you can swap them for fresh. All also have switches inside to turn them off when silence is prefered

I love this. She's my faborite plush toy.

She has a bunch of boice sounds she can make, both english and french :p, and is all around adorable and a joy to hold and play with.

She's not soft throughout becuase she has a big button to move her ears and activate a boice box, plus a battery compartment on the bottom.

But she feels soft and is firm and great for hugging or holding in my arm to sleep.

So I worked at a video game store for a few years and this couple came in with their young son once. He was a very sweet kid and he was looking through all the toys and wanted a stuffed giggly puff (Pokémon). His dad however said no, that he wasn’t going to buy his son a girls toy and that he needed to pick out a boys toy. They were trying to get him to want a blue pomsie toy like this instead. Literally only because it’s fucking blue no other reason. Both the mom and the dad were trying to convince him to put GP back and that this was a boys toy and he could have it instead. Poor kid looked so sad. They were talking right by the counter so I just leaned over and said “that’s even more of a girls toy...it’s just a wearable pet accessory...Pokémon are pretty universal that one just happens to be pink.” Well now they didn’t want either because all they heard in that sentence was “girls toy.” Kid left with nothing, poor lad.
