It's probably because of the two females right next to him within hearing and smell ranged but he can't get to them. I think you're just gonna have to deal with it until you can get him neutered and then introduce the three of them together so they can form a proper herd. It's kinda crappy but I don't see any other way to deal with it. He's stressed because there's other guinea pigs that he can't hang out with. How long do you have to wait until you can get him neutered?

They're like $40 right now but buying them direct shouldn't be that expensive. I'll see if I can find some direct imports, but the two sites I frequent are out of stock for now.

I find it less useful now, but I depended on a diagram of SVI ACL directions for a year or two. I had more stateful firewall experience than router ACL experience before so when I saw "in" and "out" I thought of inside and outside and would get confused with SVIs thinking of it not as a virtual interface but as the router itself, so "out" would be facing the world and "in" would be facing the SVI's subnet. Reality is the opposite - ACLs applied "out" are for traffic leaving the SVI to the rest of its subnet, and ACLs applied "in" are for traffic coming from the SVI's subnet entering the router (and headed to other subnets).
