I used to miss chips and sweets but I solved that problem with pork rinds. I bought microwave cinnamon pork rinds from Amazon.

I microwave them to puff them up, place the pork rinds into a plastic ziploc bag, add a tablespoon of granulated fiber Splenda, and few shakes of cinnamon. Mix them all up to make a tasty, sweet treat. You can also do make salty snacks by adding whatever spices with the rinds. I personally like lots of garlic powder and some garlic salt.

Amazingly there's not a single place in Australia that sells them online, the only thing you can buy here is the puffed up one. I ended up ordering them off Amazon, I'll grab the link for you when I can find it.

I HIGHLY recommend getting the microwave pork rinds. They are delicious. These are amazing

Don't know if you're still interested, but I like these. I've had mixed success with microwaving them, but have gotten great results frying them. It just takes an inch or so of oil and they puff up in less than a minute. Drain on a napkin and add seasoning. I like straight salt or sometimes a little lime juice and chipotle powder. They're really good hot. I've also heard you can do them in the oven, but haven't given that a try yet.

Good! I love bacon too, but never found pork rinds to taste too similar to bacon. I started getting tired of the store bought kind, then I discovered these microwave pork rinds that come in different flavors. So good.

They're good for a snack that won't effect your ketosis, but as you found out they're not so good as a source of protein. They are fuckin' delicious, though. I really like these. I get 'em at my local Safeway.

I...think you could probably do that? They're difficult to describe: they're very airy and crisp, they're not heavy like you'd expect. They're light and taste like...pig. It's the only way I have to describe it.

I have an obsession with Amazon that I realize many people don't share (and I'm not sure how Amazon works in Canada), but you can buy 12 bags for $13 USD here.

If I weren't on keto, I'd suggest swapping pork rinds for ketchup potato chips (which I understand are sold in Canada, but are difficult to find here), but...I can't eat those. D:

These are awesome, throw them in the oven though, they cook way more evenly.
