The DRC Edge tail light seems to be pretty common. That's the integrated one with an upgraded circuit board but the one that's just a tail light can be bought here. The Acerbis supermoto fender seems to be popular for the front. My friend has a pair of these Zeta hand guards with turn signals that I really like. As far as racks, my favorite is the b&b rack but they're based out of Australia. Any all metal shift lever such as this or this will probably help with black marks from the rubber on the stock one. I have a Corbin seat from the previous owner and I don't really like it much more than stock. I'd probably get a Seat Concepts or a Renazco. As far as foot pegs, I had a bike with IMS pegs and I liked those for the short time I had it.

u/Armonster20 · 6 pointsr/Trackdays

You'll need at least a few of the D-style, the purpose is to connect pieces of bodywork to one another in places where there is not a mounting spot on the bike itself (i.e., nowhere to put a bolt).

You can also drill holes in the factory bolt locations, and use normal bolts there. But that won't be enough on its own.

I went with this for the front fender, which really helped to cut down wind pull (and just looks cooler, honestly.)

These are the front turn signals that I traded out, still plenty visible, but not huge like the stock ones.

Add these lights to the front fairing for a whole lot of extra visibility, both at night and for daytime rides too. Easy to wire up, and just takes two holes. Make sure you get the spot beam, not the flood.

I've got this bash plate + crash bar combination on mine now, it's already stood up to one test on a dirt road.

Here's a picture of mine as it stands now. (and a detail shot) Apologies for the garage picture, and dirty bike.

Akrapovic carbon full exhaust, crash cage (but don't get the one I have, get an impaktech!), The front signals are high-tech speed proton 500s, the rear light has integrated signals, the relay for the front (rear comes with them), motodynamics tail tidy, stainless steel brake lines were easily the best upgrade by far. I bought it with a stoltec ECU flash (amazing), and racetech suspension front and rear (also awesome).

Hey y'all! Some of you asked about mods so here is a full list of what I have done so far with links.

Radiator guard - Has a nice little FZ-07 etched at the bottom.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075MCXCM7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Shorty levers - Mine are gray but they come in lots of colors.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0197N3KA2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Bar end mirrors - You can find these for less but I chose these because the reviews indicated that they might be better quality than others.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q3UL6S6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yoshimura fender eliminator - Kinda pricey for what it is but it looks really nice.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T6J9IM2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Motodynamic integrated tail light - I also looked at the TST but after looking at some videos decided on this one.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015NN3YUG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Proton 500 flush mount LED - These things are brighter than the sun. You can also change the signal pattern which I thought was cool.
http://www.hightechspeed.com/products/Proton500/yamaha.html

Flasher relay - Prevents hyper flash and let me get rid of resistors.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RM26LXO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Stompgrip volcano black - I really like these and they have great grip. You can also get them in clear from their website if that's your thing.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018NH74BE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Akrapovic TI - This exhaust sounds sweet, I also purchased the CAT for it through cyclegear.

Other mods that i'm considering in the future
Stainless Steel braided brake lines, FTECU on the bike flash kit, T-Rex Racing no cut combo.

What does he currently own? I got a Fender rumble 40 that’s $200 Amazon.

I've got the progressive springs and I love them. Dive reduction on hard braking is the most noticeable feature. I don't think it will affect the wobble issue though. If you have the stock fender, try taking it off and do a run down the highway and see if it makes a difference. I replaced mine with the Acerbis Supermoto fender and noticed a big difference in wobble at highway speeds.

If you're replacing your windshield, you might look at the Zero Gravity ST. I'm using it and love it.

u/lolliegagger · 2 pointsr/Bobbers

If it ends up not working check this one out I just ordered it for mine but it hasn’t come in yet, beats 200 something for tjbc, even tho his is tight. Has a couple pics in the reviews with vlxs

u/compel · 2 pointsr/hondagrom

Hey Buddy - I saw this fender delete listed in a post a while back and everyone seemed to love it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0VTHCF/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A1W5TMCJ579Y88&psc=1

u/breefield · 2 pointsr/supermoto

You replaced them, or you are looking for new ones (idk what stock looks like in different regions)? I used this tail tidy kit and I fucking love it.

this one is $70

stock turn signal are huge, get something smaller

u/jbblingboy · 2 pointsr/Kawasaki
u/MundaneCrysis · 2 pointsr/FZ07

It's this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NS1IA78/ref=pd_aw_vtph_0_bs_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HT7YKM3C1CAVVN5E7RJ7

It works well but the one they sent me, the two base plate screws didn't line up, so I was only able to screw it in with two of the four screws. So far it's holding great though!

Also, make sure you keep your left and right signals separate if you use the stock signals, otherwise you will end up putting them on the opposite side like me.

u/fuzzmedic · 2 pointsr/FZ07

I’ve got the vagabond tail tidy and I like it. I reused the factory turn signals and it was a simple install

u/duphre · 2 pointsr/Bass

An initial investment will be required. The Fender Squier is the absolute standard in beginner basses. $150 new, much cheaper used. So if you check ebay/craigslist, you may find some decent deals. Indeed it may be defected, but that's the risk you run when buying used gear. Maybe you can work out some deal with the seller. I'd buy a used amplifier as well. The Fender Rumble still serves me to this day as a practice amp. Either way, I would just look for cheap used equipment. Beginner gear isn't supposed to be amazing. Just functional. Whatever fits your budget.

I'm a gamer myself as well. A thing that keeps one playing games is a feeling of progression - you're improving in mechanical skills, equipment, talents, etc whenever you play the game. Things that were tough aint shit after a while. If you put the time in for Bass, you will have similar experiences. Songs that used to make you sweat become childsplay. You have no idea how you used to struggle on that. You will see tangible improvements.

If you want to use your PC, a possible solution is getting an Audio Interface. Rocksmith comes with a $40 cable that can be used as an Audio Interface iirc. I'd still recommend using Guitar Pro and going to https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ for all your bass tab needs. I tried using Rocksmith last year and didn't like it. However, maybe I would have enjoyed it more as a new beginner, since many people in this thread recommend it. Too bad it didn't exist when I started! And again, I highly recommend you play with your friend. When you play with somebody better than you, it accelerates you much quicker. You're forced to get on their level.

u/FuriousGorilla · 2 pointsr/Bass

I would say something in the 15 watt range would be plenty for bedroom practice.

I am fond of my Fender Rumble amp (http://www.amazon.com/Fender-Rumble-Bass-Combo-Amplifier/dp/B00HWINK1E $79). I use this one,s big brother in my band.

I also have a friend who has an Ampeg like this one (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/BA108V2 $99) if you want to get a bit louder and dirtier. Welcome to the club!

u/MyBrotherTypedThat · 2 pointsr/Bass

That's a good deal. There's also this alternative for less money but it's just the bass itself. But with a bass amp like the Fender Rumble 15 it still adds up to $279. But with the deal you found on the Guitar Center site, I'd say go with the one you linked. It's the same price as what I just linked but yours has a lot of extra stuff. I say go for it! Maybe someone will post something better but until then I like the direction you're heading.

Sure thing. I got the fairing off Amazon for around 30 bucks

Front

Fairing

It comes as a "translucent black" so I just lightly sanded and sprayed it black. Bolts right on to the headlight screws.

u/gunslinger_006 · 2 pointsr/sportster

LOL @ "PLANET BULLSHIT"...shit I was drinking coffee man.

Its the HD Dyna Mini Fairing, they only sold it for like 2 years, but now people make knockoff kits that are identical.

Mounting is easy, just one bracket, it takes 10 minutes.

Acerbis Supermoto Front Fender - Black 2040390001 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MQ6L0U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MmFlDbA9N2S07

This is the front fender I run now and I think most people do, it’s a direct fit for my WR250X.

As for your tires, they might be brand new but they also might not be the Grippiest tires for street. I’m not saying that the tires are the problem either, it very well could be that you aren’t used to leaning over that far yet. Which is fine, it’ll all come in due time, just a matter of seat time.

u/Eytol · 1 pointr/Dirtbikes

My problem is I can only find the Polisport for Cr’s that are 2002-2007. Haven’t been able to find it for a 2008.

u/3PercentMoreInfinite · 1 pointr/FZ07

It’s the Ransoto fender eliminator. Only $35 and just as good quality as the $80+ ones. Would recommend.

u/DirtBikeRider89 · 1 pointr/Dirtbikes

Those are too flimsy w/o sides. You could benefit from ones like these made by Maier plastics. My dad had them on his 92 ktm 300 to make "bypass trails" through manzanita, lol.

Edit: I wish I knew if this $50 set comes w/ the framework or not.

This one

Easy to install, works well, looks good, isn't too expensive.

u/tenbits · 1 pointr/hondagrom

Thanks! I got the Vagabond: https://www.amazon.com/Vagabond-Motorsports-VM-HG710-Fender-Eliminator/dp/B01M0VTHCF

I like it because it was very easy to install, required no permanent modifications, and used the stock turn signals and license plate light.

Edit: Here's a before/after pic: https://i.imgur.com/JJFddUj.jpg

Fender delete is from Vagabond Motorsports. They have a YouTube video that makes installation a breeze.

I’m loving the Zoom. I paired mine with the chimera intake and the bike pulls much harder in 2nd/3rd gear. Great sound and solid dB level for other drivers to hear you coming.

u/brethalleran · 1 pointr/FZ09

Highly recommend the Motodynamic fender eliminator (tail tidy) and Motodynamic integrated taillight. Installation was simple, especially for a dummy like myself. The fender eliminator comes with a really bright license plate light too. Also, they are both relatively cheap

Do what you think will make you want to play more-- within reason of course. A 4x10 cab would probably be a little overkill in your situation. Fender rumbles are great amps for the money. I had the older 75w version and then upgraded to a 150w version, but a 40w might be good enough for your needs
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HWINMR6/ref=twister_B01CQKCVDU?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

As for headphones-- I like the Sony MDR 7506. They dont look all that special, but theyre industry standard and have a great flat response.

Enhanced LPT: You can buy complete washer, bolt, and nut kits in metric and standard. They come in things that resemble tackle boxes. Ultra Valuable!! I have like 20 of these around the house. You just dip into them all the time.

Here's an example of one I purchased for one of my motorcycles:

https://www.amazon.com/Specbolt-Suzuki-Maintenance-Restoration-Fastener/dp/B006NOH5UA

That's metric and motorcycle specific but they make all manner of these. I highly recommend one be purchased for your house (if you are in the US that would be standard sizes with 1/2" as some kind of midpoint. Bolts, screws, lugs, washers, nuts.

u/NeedmoarCCs · 1 pointr/klr650

That’s this guy from Acerbis

u/ShitBoy_StinkerBomb · 1 pointr/Bobbers

Thanks man. Here is the fender. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000KOTY3K/ref=psdcmw_404665011_t1_B00ML4HXSU. The 12" was good for me just don't get the 8" it's probably too small
