There are Korean snacks marketed to be eaten this way!

u/hailandwellmet · 10 pointsr/tumblr

Well, it’s a common thing in Korea. We even have special snack ramen made just for it.

u/romanticheart · 7 pointsr/1200isfineIGUESSugh

I bought these from Amazon. So worth it. 120cal/bag and small pre-portions. Even if you eat two it's smaller than a "small" bag from the store.

Very low calorie foods:

  • artificial sweeteners

  • oat fiber

  • shirataki noodles

  • sugar free gelatin (Jello's are 10 calories each, but there are others out there that are 5 calories)

  • vegetable broth

  • Egg whites

  • many condiments: mustard, horseradish, salsa, hot sauce, etc

  • aquafaba (can be beaten into a large volume of fluff)

  • Crunchmaster multigrain crackers (roughly 8 calories each)

  • freeze dried fruit (this is higher in calories than I'd like, but I'm including it because it can be an easier alternative to fresh or dried fruit)

  • cashew or almond milk (25-40 calories per cup for unsweetened, use it in small amounts and it's almost negligible)

  • Walden Farms salad dressings and dips

  • Coco Lite. I found an asian version of this same kind of formula at my local Korean grocery store. Was way cheaper and tasted better.

  • Artic Zero ice cream and Halo Top ice cream

  • Tofu if you cut it into little 15-30 calorie cubes and bake it. They keep fine in the fridge for a week or so.

These are so good, almost as good as cheetos. I get Pirate's Booty brand[in the US.]

E- Added amazon link but I've seen them at Walt Mart.

u/lorem_opossum · 5 pointsr/vegan

There’s a brand called peatoes that have a “fire” flavor that is vegan.

I grew up a couple of towns over from Woodlawn. Hot fries in this context are definitely not fresh hot fries. They're these: http://www.amazon.com/Andy-Capp-Fries-3-5-Ounce-Bags/dp/B000CQE3JQ

u/yukimontreal · 4 pointsr/1200isplenty

Suzie's Thin Cakes are about 15 calories each and I sometimes use them as an alternative to sandwich bread. I actually really like them too, and as a bonus, I can put a bit more of the sandwich fillings. Dave's Killer Bread also does "Thins" which I buy which are either 60 or 80 calories depending on the type you get. Here's a link to the Corn Thin Cakes in case you're interested. They are with rice cakes in the grocery store https://www.amazon.com/Suzies-Cakes-Quinoa-Sesame-Ounce/dp/B00BFJ4Z6K/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1483649214&sr=8-4&keywords=suzie%27s

IDK why but his face here reminds me of the cheetos dude

Can you get them online? http://www.amazon.com/Frito-Lay-Cheetos-Flamin-Hot/dp/B001KON47G I'm on mobile so I'm having issues navigating but some of those sellers ship internationally

u/PancakePolice · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

Doesn't exactly qualify as a food, but my dude will always eat Bamba. Anywhere, anytime.

This stuff: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0078DPBII/ref=sr_ph_1_s_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1492373268&sr=sr-1&keywords=bamba

I put chocolate halo top in the microwave on defrost for two minutes so it's soft, and then mix in pb2. Tastes really good. Also if I crave something crunchy but don't have many calories I spread chocolate pb2 (with water mixed in it) on one of these.

u/sasunnach · 2 pointsr/TheHammerKeto

It was a plate of crickets that had yellow cheese dusted on them. Whoever could eat the most won. Had it not been a competition I wouldn't have had a single one, but something in my brain is broken that when it's a competition or being graded I have to be 1st. I had little worms too. I definitely have a competitive problem.

No idea if they ship outside of america but I dont see why not. Get them if you can, they're fucking awesome.

u/king_sting · 2 pointsr/AskNYC

Can you have those Hot Cheeto Puffs delivered monthly by Amazon? There's a British grocery in the West Village called Myers of Keswick that has a variety of different 'crisps' you could check out (including Prawn Cocktail).

u/Doonce · 2 pointsr/snackexchange

They sell Flamin' Hot Cheetos on Amazon. Kool-Aid as well. I know that's not technically an exchange.. but trying to do whatever I can do to help your craving.

I know they sell the Cheetos where I am, Midwest USA, and we have plenty of Kool-Aid too.

u/rightfootedglove · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Happy Zambambo

Here is what shall burn my mouth in oyur honor!...I love spicy things.

u/sableheart · 2 pointsr/lastweektonight

I just want to know if they are comparable to the Nongshim shrimp flavoured crackers coz those things are amazing.

u/redddc25 · 1 pointr/india
u/SigmaSeed · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I will love you forever <3

I just realized how calm my character is compared to everyone else. They're all freaking out over the end of the world, but I'm just like "Got my Cheetos. Life's pretty chill right now." /crunch/ "F*** yeah."

u/AccountClosed · 1 pointr/snackexchange

Can't you buy them online (Amazon or eBay)? Many sellers have reasonable rates for international shipping.

u/SamanthaRobot · 1 pointr/utdallas

I know what you mean, though I did grow out of most of it thankfully. When I was little I just to rip the ends off of french fries because they were much crunchier than the rest of the fry for example.

Most texture differences like that don't bother me know except for berries that have hard seeds. My archnemesis is strawberries, I love the taste but the little seeds on the outside just ruin it for me. DAMN YOU TINY, CRUNCHY SEEDS! I stopped eating these because they used to have a consistent texture, but suddenly all the ones in the surrounding grocery stores started having little super crunchy nodules inside, do not want.

u/d0ntp4n1c · 1 pointr/funny

I once ate an entire giant bin of cheeseballs due to munchies. I'm not sure if I'm proud of that or not....probably shouldn't be lol. In Texas they have Griff's which is better the taco bell when it comes to stoner food.

u/AvramBelinsky · 1 pointr/snackexchange

No problem! Here is an Amazon link if you want to try some.

u/Winkleberry1 · 1 pointr/snackexchange

If you don't find anyone ( I'm on east coast too) they do have them on Amazon
Cheetos XXtra Flamin' Hot Crunchy - 8.5 Oz (6pk) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FY7WBLK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_bejIAbWERGYEP

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/AskReddit

They still make these in other brands. They sell big tubs of them at Sam's Club.

edit: Here they are.

u/the_saddest_trombone · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

haha. fair enough. they're on Amazon but we may switch to some PB cheerios when we get our pincher grip down. :)

Hi, sorry for the late reply. It taste similar to shrimp cracker ( http://www.amazon.com/Nongshim-Shrimp-Cracker-Ounce-Packages/dp/B000LQNK6Y ) while giving you the hard and crunchy feel to it like regular hard crackers. The after taste of it is very enjoyable. There are also different flavors of this cracker such as wasabi, shrimp and cheese I think.

u/Dank_London · 1 pointr/AskMen

Give him Flamin' Hot Cheetos, XXtra hot ones, not the normal ones.

u/Overnighter_Owl · 1 pointr/loseit

Suzie's Thin Cakes.

Great plain, dipping into salsa, low cal hummus [I have a 35cal/tablespoon one], soup, spreads [cream cheese OR peanut butter, jelly, etc], deli meat, cheese, etc etc. The pack I linked is 48cal/3 slices.

u/mfigroid · 1 pointr/AskReddit

Ever hear of Amazon?

u/mrnoonan81 · 1 pointr/videos

I think most Americans would react similar to Korean shrimp flavored crackers or cuttlefish flavored peanut balls, but I can't get enough of them now that I'm accustomed to them.

u/fesnying · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I think they sell them here somewhere! I'll keep an eye out.

Edit: is it these by the way?

u/MasdevalliaLove · 1 pointr/SemiHydro

Kind of way out there, but maybe you could reuse some containers? There used to be kind of giant containers of cheese puff rounds everywhere that were clear. You could cut it to the preferred height.

Pic to what I am talking about:
https://www.amazon.com/Cheese-Balls-Real-Snack-Ounce/dp/B0001UXQ9Q?th=1

Edited to add:
If you were willing to go opaque, coffee containers from Maxwell and/or Folgers are a good size too. I am planning on repainting a Folgers container to transplant an Oncidium that's outgrowing it's 64oz deli container.

u/crystalsmuse · 0 pointsr/beyondthebump

I've heard lots of great things about the peanut snack Bamba. I ordered some off Amazon. The only ingredients are peanuts, corn, palm oil and salt. They also are easy to eat for babies, as they dissolve in the mouth easily.

u/detroitdoesntsuckbad · -15 pointsr/Portland

I am addicted to those XXtra Flamin Hot Cheetos.
