Hidden Valley the Original Ranch Dip Mix, 1 Ounce Packet (Pack of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C546G66/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-8IWDb7CE0ET3
It isn't that weird. The ranch powder packets you can buy from the store have you use mayo as the base plus some (butter)milk. It's just making the ranch a bit thicker in this case.
Walden Farms makes a zero everything ranch dressing, but, like all of their other products, it tastes like absolute dogshit.
Irish fella here. Lived over there and now me and the Mrs living here. We do a thanksgiving every year. One thing to note, it is not a session. Few drinks at dinner and that's it. It's usually is a very respectful family event that is more about eating than drinking.
It is basically a big pot luck. You bring a cuple of dishes. Maybe a big bowl of champ mash or a salad, or even a cuple apple tarts. Bring a bottle of wine maybe too. You do not have to go all out buying all that but there is some ideas.Best thing to do is actually ask him. "Hey, I wanted to bring some food or drink over for celebration; Is there anything I can cook and bring to make your day easier?"

If you're looking to bring him something from America, then order some of these. Of all the Americans I talk to here, this is the gold dust! Make sure you get the mix packet and not the bottle if you go this route.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hidden-Valley-Original-Seasoning-Envelopes/dp/B003G9L1TQ/ref=sr_1_7?adgrpid=59082866795&gclid=CjwKCAiA8K7uBRBBEiwACOm4d0ZoaG-bp_fWfZGYm0KMC6QnZWvvbuvQ3619mw_21jwkbTNjrMA_LhoCrMcQAvD_BwE&hvadid=291461063033&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=20479&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=b&hvrand=5554114308059697605&hvtargid=kwd-295729881566&hydadcr=8469_1790195&keywords=hidden+valley+ranch+dressing&qid=1573674640&sr=8-7
Hit me a PM if you need any more info. Fair play in trying to make him fell welcome. Definitely bring something!!

Edit: Americans fucking love sweet potatoes so bang up a few of those and mash em.
As a ranch enthusiast, bottled ranch is a pale imitation. Mixing a packet of "ranch mix" with mayo and milk/buttermilk is the way to go, short of making your own from scratch.
This recipe looks to be very close to what's in the packets although I haven't personally tried it out.
Russian is more traditional but thousand island is a very common substitution. Just make sure it's Russian dressing (which should be pink and have bits of stuff chopped up in it) and not "red Russian dressing," which is a variation of Catalina dressing.

I found this on Amazon Pantry...keto friendly and can make a LOT of dressing:

Saltines + Canola Oil + Red Pepper Flakes + Ranch Dressing Mix, shake them together in a bag, you're welcome.
Try Brianna's Ranch dressing. By far the best one I've ever had and tops most resturant ranch dressings. This is what it looks like. I've seen it sold all across the states since I travel for work. https://www.amazon.com/Briannas-Classic-Buttermilk-Ranch-Pack/dp/B0045W2D0O
I combine 1/2 cup mayo, 1 1/2 cup buttermilk with 3 tbsp of Ranch seasoning. Keeps at least 1 week (it may keep longer but I use it by 1 week). You can change the consistency and flavor by varying the relative amounts of mayo and buttermilk, or use milk instead of buttermilk for something more liquidy.
The sheer number of flavors that chips/crisps can be had in in america is literally STAGGERING to the rest of the world.
And day to day in the US. ;)

So, ya, ranch is kind of old hat.
FYI, in america you can buy ranch powder and make ANYTHING ranch flavored.

>You eat crisps with ranch? I have never had this and it sounds terrifying.
You misspelled delicious!

It will change your life
Pro-tip: Make your own ranch using the dry powder and mix it with some cultured diary like buttermilk/sour cream/yogurt and mayonnaise. It is significantly better tasting because its made with fresher ingredients. You need specifically hidden valley ranch dressing seasoning mix. This stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Valley-Original-Seasoning-Dressing/dp/B002OAOADW?th=1
Try getting dry ranch mix. That is what I use at home here in the States. It calls for Mayo and Milk but I will often just use milk and a little plain greek yogurt since I dont like it too rich. It seems Amazon will ship certain items to Argentina like this one.

As far as canned soup and alfredo sauce try making your own. Even though I can get it here I dont like to use alot of canned processed food. Ive had really good success making my own condensed cream of mushroom soup when I get a hankering for green bean casserole. I know that may not be the answer you were hoping for. Hope it helps anyway.
I won't reiterate what others have said about liquid because they are dead on correct. Just keep in mind you lose virtually no liquid to evaporation with pressure cooking. However certain foods will absorb water. You just want to make sure you have enough liquid to creat the steam and account for any absorption so your food doesnt burn.
no problem! Another tip with these you can add flavor too them as well! You can get a plastic bag put a little flavoring in it and shake it up! You can use Ranch or even add a little artificial sweeter and cinnamon for a taco bell Cinnamon Twists kind of taste.
I prefer this bulk powder instead of the packets. Let's you make smaller or bigger batches easier than dealing with little packets!
Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix, 16 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002OAOADW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vuAmDbC0MAFC6
Needs more Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing... the packets you make from scratch, not that bottled crap. But without Ranch, the shelf seems positively un-American.
Edit: spelling
Here's a link for a package from amazon, so you know what you're looking for exactly :)
So, you can get these cool Tessamae salad dressing packets online and stick some in your bag. That way, any time you eat out, you can order a salad with no cheese or croutons and be allll set. There's also a Lemon Garlic option:

Otherwise, tortilla-less fajitas are usually the way to go, but watch out for the oils.
Problem Solved This stuff is wonderful. Mix with mayo and buttermilk to make salad dressing or mix with sour cream to make a veggie/chip dip.

It is a brand of ranch powder. So, ranch. Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
I worked at a place for a while that got lots of compliments on it's homemade ranch. We used these Hidden Valley ranch packets and followed the recipe exactly the way it is on the packets. http://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Valley-Dressing-Buttermilk-0-4-Ounce/dp/B000EDM3JO
You're right on. Sometimes restaurants that don't do a lot of prep will simply use the shelf-stable bottles ranch, and they are all pretty terrible. Some of the refrigerated jars, like Marzeti's are okay, but nothing is as good as homemade.
As for Hidden Valley Ranch mix, I used to get a shaker bottle and mix it with sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk, and it's quite good! It also makes really good veggie/carrot dip when mixed with sour cream.

Lately, I just make my own! This is the recipe that I usually follow and make thinner or thicker based on use!

Hidden Valley also sells ranch dressing mix so you can make your own at home (which tastes far better than the bottled stuff).
Walden Farms makes 0 calorie dressings. They taste fine (not fabulous) but for zero calories, I'm ok with that :)
