you don't - just buy a new heating element at the hardware store for $15. It's a standard part, should fit most electric stove tops.
something like this:

Never mind... figured it out:

You can find all of the parts diagrams here.
We see that the part you need is 315968B. Has been discontinued, substituted with 31760301B. Also been discontinued. Gonna be a bitch to find.
So what I'd do is get a universal knob kit. It's got adapters so it'll fit on pretty much any range, and you can get an entire matching set so that it looks aight.
It's probably not up to code, you can buy longer gas connectors.
https://www.amazon.com/5-Flexible-Gas-Range-Hose/dp/B00EEEL44O/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1482939376&sr=8-8&keywords=5+foot+gas+hose+for+stove
I don't think it hurts anything if it's not leaking, but you know if something goes wrong the first thing insurance companies do is try to assign blame to avoid liability, so it might not be a bad idea to get it up to code.
Adulting pro-tip, you can buy packs of disposable aluminum burner drip pan liners for a few dollars, well worth it.
Check your breaker box and see if it's a 20A or 15A breaker. If it's a 20A, you can replace these outlets with the 5-20 outlet and get ~1mph extra charge if you also get the 5-20 adapter from Tesla for your UMC (it all adds up when trickle charging).
If your HOA don't let you do this, you can get an adapter (ONLY USE THIS IF YOUR BREAKER IS ACTUALLY 20A!).
I have not used one but if it's a heavyier cast iron wok, it would take longer to heat up and cool down and would probably be hard to move around. That being said, for larger portions it may work well. I think as long as it's a thinner cast iron it may be fine. Thin carbon steel woks aren't great I will give you that, you want a thicker one.
This is the wok I use (I think, I have had it for a while but it looks the same) and I like it but you really need a wok ring for it to be stable, I prefer a big heavy one and I take the whole grate AND diffuser off my propane stove (once it's safely lit) and use it like a chinese 'torch' stove - it DEFINITELY gets hot enough. I've never burned my house down yet.
edit:spelling
NEMA 14-50 cost me $200. I bought a Gen 2 High Power Wall Connector with the 24' cable, then I bought a 50 amp range cord (https://www.amazon.com/General-Electric-WX09X10037-4-Feet-50-Amp/dp/B00LQDFOMY/), cut the range cord down substantially in length and wired it into the wall connector. Now I have a wall connector that I can easily take with me when I move and leave a functional outlet, and if the HPWC shits the bed I can use my mobile connector if needed.
Is it a click igniter/sparker, maybe? One that's obviously come loose an sat in the flames.
Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Whirlpool-9758079-Oven-Igniter-Range/dp/B0053Y2I8U
Wondering if its possible to simply take one of these and simply route it to a wall socket instead. That way I have an optional socket available.
Gas or electric? Round or square?
googled "7 in stove drip pans" and found this. https://www.amazon.com/Camco-00363-Round-Drip-Chrome/dp/B0026KSN92
if 9in square, this may work: http://www.hardwareandtools.com/range-kleen-sgp401-chrome-square-j-gas-drip-pan-udkb-0290.html
9 inch round: https://www.amazon.com/GE-WB31K5026-9-Inch-Burner-Drip/dp/B00MNMW4OI
Not bad, that one can also control heating/cooling (trigger a fan if over a certain temperature.
For just monitoring, this looks pretty nice. Mount a few in a panel and label where the probe goes or something.
If I remember correctly it is 22V. And sorry to say I don't have link for the socet/fuse as I just picked it up from a local electronics store. But this one is quite close to mine. A bit more "Chinease" but anyway hope it helps. https://www.amazon.com/Inlet-Module-Switch-Socket-IEC320/dp/B00F4MFMXE
I would recommend looking into getting a Canning Burner. It has more rings so it gives off more Heat. This helps getting the wok to a good temperature.
control board $130
water valve $20
WHY DON'T PEOPLE LEARN TO TAKE SCREWS OUT OF SCREW-HOLES!!! OR USE COLOR CODED WIRES!!!!
Are you sure about that part number? My old control set isn't push-to-turn and some listings say that part number 5303935086 is.
Is there a non-push-to-turn option?
https://www.amazon.com/Frigidaire-5303935086-Surface-Switch-Range/dp/B005B9EJ5C
Find the model number for your range and look up the parts online. I have a Kenmore made by Fridgidaire and have had to replace the bottom element before. It’s easy (2 screws) and the parts are cheap. This is the style I have: https://www.amazon.com/Frigidaire-316075103-Oven-Bake-Element/dp/B0050KKS5C/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=oven+element&qid=1565898998&s=gateway&sr=8-3
GE WB30M2 Stove Burner Surface Element, 8 Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BNZ4Z4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_dVWrub0BGVQ7S
Just snap out-snap in. Any coil will work as long as it has the same number of rings. But I got This one works like a charm. You can get a set of all 4 but since I rent I wasn't going to waste the money
Take those pictures over to the electrical department at your local big box store, and they will hook you up with a new end to put on your dryer cord.
If they don't have the plug, they will sell you a cord:
