my hairdresser has a water spray bottle for hair that has a continuous mist instead of having to pump spray. maybe you could DIY with something like that?

ETA: this is an example of what I mean!

Same with those who want to save on makeup. Invest in a mini makeup spatula like this one ($4.95 on amazon). You could really use it for more than just makeup too.

I use it for facial moisturizers, foundation, you name it. I even had one of those chubby lip crayons, and when the screw-bottom didn’t turn up any more product, I curiously scooped inside with my baby spatula and there was approx 1 tbsp of product left inside the crayon. I panned it into an empty tiny Vaseline lip balm tub (it was too cute to throw away but didn’t have a use for it!) and have been applying still two weeks later.

I had really good luck with this set plus this for my foaming cleanser during a recent trip. It wasn't quite six weeks, but I didn't need to fill everything either, so I could have doubled up on bottles.

If you don't like the pink, it looks like there's also a clear set that's cheaper, but isn't available with prime shipping.

u/Anaphase · 11 pointsr/treedibles

Make tincture! Just put it in a jar, add Everclear until all the ABV is saturated, shake daily for a week or two, then strain through cheese cloth and put into amber dropper bottles. Then put 3-4 droppers full in a drink and you're golden. Great for public events, because nobody suspects you're getting high on a bottle of OJ

u/capncait · 10 pointsr/PanPorn

And once you do, you can buy tiny silicone spatulas on Amazon!

I'm a bit confused. What do you mean by a "blend" in this context? Was there 4 different Frankincense "varieties" or was there a blend that featured Frankincense as the main ingredient/scent?

If you're referring to this, that's literally just Frankincense essential oil and a rather cheap carrier oil. You could replicate your own by purchasing 10 ML roller bottles off of amazon, buying a carrier oil of your choice -- if you want to be "fancy," go for golden jojoba oil -- and 6 drops of a quality Frankincense essential oil for a 3% dilution. Tallying that all up:

  • These roller bottles are $7 for 6, so $1.17 apiece
  • Golden Jojoba oil from Bulk Apothecary -- as a reputable bulk ingredient supplier -- is $7.12 for 2 oz, which is about 60 ML. For one 10 ML roller, it's $1.19, but let's call it $1.25 with shipping.
  • There are two major types of Frankincense that I've heard of, made from resin found in different locations. Decent blog post from Plant Therapy here. Let's say you go with the more expensive Carteri oil, which is $18.95 for 10 ML. That's 200 drops of oil, and you only need 6 for this application. That's $0.57 worth of oil in your average roller bottle.

So per bottle, it'll cost you $2.99 to replicate the $61 roller bottle from Doterra -- and I picked higher quality stuff than they did. In all, it'll cost you ~$35.95 to get set up... which is still much less than Doterra's version for just one. The oil and roller bottles will let you make 6 altogether -- the EO will last for a whopping 33 roller bottles before running out! (Assuming you don't use it for something else, of course.)

So to be clear, you spend $35.95 for 6 roller bottles & a ton of leftover Frankincense EO. You'd need to spend $366 to get 6 roller bottles of the Doterra version, and you'd get an inferior carrier oil AND no extra Essential oil. That's literally 90% less to do it yourself -- talk about markup.

Math like this shows how they, Young Living and others who sell pre-diluted blends make A SHITTON OF MONEY. You're paying for 3% of actual product (safely) diluted by a cheap (though decent) filler, which is why you're better off paying for the EO itself and diluting it on your own.

    Did that help?

> Because I'm ignorant

Not ignorant, just hadn't asked yet. I use a pipette, others like a blunt syringe, both can be had cheap somewhere like Amazon or eBay. Can probably grab sample vials too. https://www.amazon.com/BCP-50pcs-Plastic-Graduated-Orange/dp/B07BBK3Y4D vials and https://www.amazon.com/Basic-Essential-Bottles-Disposable-Graduated/dp/B073WLCQWD pipettes. $16 and set for all the ink you can imagine, both wash out so you will use these for long time.

I have one of these and it works really well for getting every last drop.

u/kodyloki · 6 pointsr/fragrance

I'm not sure what size/material/budget you're looking at, but I just bought these recently: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076Q54G5S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I wanted day-spritzers of my favorites and these are great. Don't have to worry about breaking them in my bag, so far zero leakage and they feel really secure when you fill and close them. I have no complaints.

u/nosegoesfragrance · 6 pointsr/fragrance

I use this set and they work great. Decants from scentbird also fit in these. There are cheaper atomizers to be had but I like that these seem less breakable.

PS: Is the huge bottle from
Caron by chance? Almost pulled the trigger on one of theirs.

u/OysterVase · 6 pointsr/researchchemicals

Amazon! You can find packs of 12/24/48/etc. vials / amber bottles for extremely cheap. You can also get very cheap (in a good way, they're all high quality) nasal sprayers, as well. I have SOOOO many left over amber bottles and such.

Here are some examples!

1oz Amber Bottles 12pk

Same thing, but 2oz.

12 Amber Vials with Droppers

Larger Clear Round Pyrex bottle

2ml amber dram bottles (these also come in 24-36+ counts, too

...and there's so much more! Amazon is a goldmine for research materials in my experience! Hope I could help!

u/eff_you_fungus · 6 pointsr/NailFungus

My big toenail got totally ruined by fungus because I left it untreated for 2+ years. Tbh I didn't know what it was and thought it'd go away on its own.

A year ago, during my trip to Bali, I was in the water so much that half of my toenail actually fell off! This is when I finally started doing research and treating it. I went through a 9 month phase where I slacked off because I was traveling a lot, which is why you see it get much worse. But about 3 months ago I decided I've had enough and took this to the next level. I've been extremely proactive in my routine and am finally seeing results!!! It's a lot of work but it's really encouraging to see improvements.

Here's how I'm doing it:

  • Keep it filed down using this electric nail drill (be really careful not to get carried away & use the slowest setting. stop if you feel ANY pain)
  • Keep it clean & trimmed I make sure the sides of my nail/cuticle are free of debri and keep my nails short using these tools
  • Make sure to disinfect all tools & surfaces using alcohol or hand sanitizer & soap
  • Brush your toe 2-3 times a day with a soft tip toothbrush and tea tree oil body wash (especially in morning and before going to bed)
  • Apply Tea tree oil & Coconut oil after brushing
    • Why: Several studies have shown that tea tree oil has antifungal properties. (source) Coconut oil also has antifungal properties and also smoothes out your skin & nail, which is key cuz tea tree oil makes it really dry and rough
    • How: You can do it by hand, but to make it easier I bought this mini refillable perfume spray bottle, filled it up with tea tree oil & coconut oil 50/50. So all I gotta do is spray it on my toe after I brush and dry
  • Apply Vicks vaporub I apply this along with the tea tree oil & coconut oil once a day or so
  • Apply Urea Cream at night in addition to the tea tree oil & coconut oil
    • Numerous studies have shown combination therapy of urea and an antifungal agent to be an effective treatment for onychomycosis. Urea functions to soften the nail plate, which can enhance the passage of antifungal medications to the underlying nail bed.
  • Footsoaks I've done footsoaks 2-3 times a week for 30 min each. Recently I've been combining 2 part warm water, 1 part vinegar (distilled white or ACV), and like 5 tbsp baking soda. Sometimes I only do baking soda. Sometimes I add a few drops of tea tree oil. Sometimes I soak just with bleach & water. But if you do the bleach & water, make sure you use regular bleach (not the splashless kind). Anyways as you can tell, I kinda mix it up when it comes to footsoaks
    • In the lab, plain old sodium bicarbonate limited growth of the most common types of fungi that cause skin and nail infections. (source)
    • Vinegar can protect against bacteria, fungi, and other harmful microbes, so putting it into a foot soak could have potential benefits for the feet. source
  • Antifungal foot powder I use this foot powder anytime I wear shoes to keep it as dry as possible
  • Try to stay bare feet as much as possible
  • Put toe in sunlight as much as you can fungus hates the sun
  • Clean socks I change into fresh clean socks constantly
  • Handwash & sanitize socks I handwash all of my socks by soaking them in this collapsible dish tub with super hot water, laundry detergent, and a few drops of dettol, which is this super concentrated antiseptic liquid that kills the fungus
  • Spray on sanitizer If I'm ever lazy, I carry this hand sanitizer spray to spray my toenail before going to bed. I also spray this in my shoes & flip flops at night. I also use this to spray down my nail filer, sink, hands, etc. to not spread fungus.

  1. Use silicone travel bottles for toiletries you genuinely can't find at your destination (e.g. curly hair products), but buy common stuff there (e.g. toothpaste, soap)
  2. Use vacuum bags but keep in mind that they won't help with the total weight of the luggage
  3. Bring multi-purpose, single tone clothing that's easy to mix and match
  4. On the travel days, stick to leggings/jeggings, loose tops, and shoes that are easy to take off and put on w/o spending a lot of time tying laces
  5. Use a purse with a zipper and keep the zipper closed, it helps deter pickpocketing
  6. Buy locally, but USE SUNSCREEN. It's very likely you'll be outside a lot as a tourist
  7. Synthetic clothing materials travel best because they don't wrinkle readily, but they suck in hot weather
  8. If traveling in Europe, shawarma places give you the best bang for the buck in terms of food
u/TeaLeavesAndTweed · 5 pointsr/AsianBeauty

You can buy travel-sized foaming dispensers. This is just the first hit off an Amazon search; I'm sure there are better options: http://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Foamer-Bottle-Dispenser-ATB/dp/B01BL3Y5BO/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1462273282&sr=8-1&keywords=travel+foaming+pump+bottle

u/RVDuong · 5 pointsr/AsianBeauty

Most of my skincare products were all the recommended size limit and I brought basically over 20+ products without having it confiscated. THERE IS HIGH LIMIT OF FL OZ. YOU CAN BRING. But with all your skincare for travels, it should never exceed that much lol. You will be fine. The only thing they will confiscate is things like snail products or anything in that nature. If you are super worried and don’t want to risk it buy these. It’s super convenient and very sturdy. Won’t leak or pop in your bags.

12, Amber, 2 oz Glass Bottles, With Glass Eye Droppers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V73OA6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_c1s0BbF2GX572.

As for sunscreen, why don’t you try CONTACT LENSE cases. You’ll only need three sets of it to last you for a week. It’s very convenient!

I never had mines in a ziplock bag lol. I packed it in my traveling bag.

u/Nekkosan · 4 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I prefer a pump. But you have to struggle at the last 1/4. I just refill. I am not a huge decanter. Mostly keep stuff in the orignal buttle. Not a lover of dropper bottles. Maybe you get further down the bottle without struggling with it vs a pump? Clearly not air proof, but not all pumps are. I just find them cumbersome. I would decant products out of dropper bottles, if it were easier to get the product out in one shot. The main thing I decant is my Scinic AIO, as it the jar is messy to work with. Also Holika aloe gel, as that cute aloe bottle is hard to control the amount comming out. Some of the bottles broke on me. I drop things. I decant some serums, because I think the antioxidants might last longer in a more opaque/airless bottle.

Bottles I like: These are good airless and opaque pumps. Here. Hard to tell when they are empty though or when you filled them. Looks like it might be clear, but the bottle is hard white plastic. But it keeps out air and light and keeps the ingredients fresh.

These are a bit easier to work with and small, so might be better for travel. Still dark to keep out most of the light but you can see the product. Air cleary gets in.

I am liking these misters, though clearly not for essences. They are a bit larger than I expected. They mist nicely. Again the blue keeps a fair amount of light out. Not to many toners I like to mist, but a few.

id check out this lube guide, near the middle some options and comparisons are listed and it would be the most economical to purchase a large amount of lube then put it in a discreet travel containers like these

u/mairhi · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I've bought airless pumps on Amazon, but only the small ones for when I bought the huge jar of Scinic Honey Ampoule.

Empty Black Airless Lotion Cream Pump

I've also bought these off of Etsy. They're bigger, but the faux metal paint on the cap tends to scrape off. They work great, just can be a little less pretty after a while.

u/Mauvaise3 · 3 pointsr/PanPorn

You could use something like this. I have this and it's worked great.

u/blupikkaru · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction
u/Repzie_Con · 3 pointsr/nailbiting

Lol, Im glad to be a the bearer of good news. Heres the one I use, works fine, and although its small you only need a little bit to flood the cuticle.

If you want to go all in, I also make my own cuticle oil so the skin dries up less, so I dont feel the need to pick at it. I use a mix of jojoba oil w/ vitamin e oil to make it the consistency I want. While its not completely necessary, vitamin e is good for your skin and thickness for application/less runoff. Then put it in a brush pen for easier application and potability so I can have one wherever. You dont need to use the exact ones I have, just this is what I ordered.

u/windy48 · 3 pointsr/medicalschool

I highly recommend snagging a refillable perfume/cologne atomizer like the one below.

  1. Takes up no space in your bad (they're the size of a AA battery),
  2. The fill lasts a while as long as you don't bathe in cologne (they advertise 70+ sprays from a full fill).
  3. Guaranteed TSA Approved (have traveled extensively with one of these in my dopp kit)
  4. Cheaper than going out and buying a new, TSA compliant, bottle of your favorite fragrance.

You could try one of these. They usually have a one way valve thingy on the bottom so you can just remove your atomiser and pump the perfume directly into the decant.

u/Bop_It_ · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I've been wanting to try this stuff for a few years. I'm glad you've found something that works for you!

u/orbdragon · 2 pointsr/Nails

I did forget to mention what others have said - I oil my nails with jojoba oil like it's my religion. I use these oil pens, and when they reach the end, the backside is easy to pop off and allows the plunger to be reversed so you can refill it!

u/Srb3ard · 2 pointsr/beards

I think you would burn thru alot of oil that way in waste, guessing though I have not tested. I make my own oil so I use something similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Cobalt-Glass-Bottles-Stainless-Roller/dp/B013SJWE2G/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=roller+ball&qid=1562681960&s=gateway&sr=8-3. I really don’t know why more beats brand oils don’t. I have pulled a hair out on the roller ball. However that a rare occurrence.

u/ayimera · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Just a spray bottle! I was doing the pressing wet hands into the face method for awhile, but I find the spray is quicker and gets more of an even application of water. These are the ones I got. I also use them for toners!

u/ImDennyCrane · 2 pointsr/eczema

I use these for moisturizer...
https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/nice!-on-the-move-silicone-bottle/ID=prod6324092-product

And some hard plastic containers like what some lip balms come in.

I separate some of them from each other in snack size ziplocks in case they leak.

If I were to do it again I'd probably do something like this...
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B077D7TRS3/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1538702437&sr=8-4&keywords=travel+bottles&dpPl=1&dpID=41FQI3zubPL&ref=plSrch

u/FellowFresno · 2 pointsr/asianbeautyexchange

Also, the Sulwhasoo is all in branded bottles, and the Missha will be in one of these droppers.

u/minatata · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I would decant into little spray bottles so you can apply directly to your face without wasting on a cotton pad. These spray bottles have pretty good reviews, mist pretty well so you’re not shooting a jet stream at your face. A few spritzes, just enough to get your face wet but not product dripping and gently pat into your skin. I use it for the Missha FTE and spray three times: left cheek, right cheek, forehead.

u/SlapDiggity · 2 pointsr/lawncare

i also make the same mess. Thought about using pipettes like these: https://www.amazon.com/Basic-Essential-Bottles-Disposable-Graduated/dp/B073WLCQWD/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1538586738&sr=8-4&keywords=pipettes

But all I do is pour it on a shed worktable since I know I'll spill it and it won't matter where it goes.

Oh - and if I use marking dye there is 100.00% chance I spill this or get this on my hands.

Would love to hear a better option.

u/pegmeamadeus · 2 pointsr/treedibles

Capsules will leak.

My suggestion is if you don't want to taste it, don't use Everclear; use coconut oil.

Also, if you're concerned about the decarb, you can always reduce to 225 and extend the time.

u/johnnyexperienced · 2 pointsr/microdosing

Vivaplex, 12, Amber, 2 oz Glass Bottles, with Lids https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y61Y2PD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_8E-BCbQ6CCN0X

I use this dropper for dosing, which fits the bottles above perfectly:

They go together well and work perfectly with a 2μg per ml solution. I use distilled water from my local supermarket. I've been doing it for almost two months now and it works great!

u/Insertnamehere331 · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

Sure! They look like this. They function the same as regular pump bottles with a tube and pump to get the product out, only airless pump bottles have a mechanism that uses a vacuum effect to pull the product to the surface instead. Overall they're more sanitary and help get all the product out rather than leaving a bit at the bottom that the tube can't reach.

There's a better explanation here :)

u/spacebeez · 2 pointsr/PlantedTank

>So you must be mixing them in pretty big containers? Like 2, 3 liters or something like that, then using a 10ml dropper?

For my smaller tanks I use these pump dispensers which work great. One pump is almost exactly 2ml. I dose every other day so 3x per week @ 10ml will last 2 months in those 8oz bottles.

I use the larger 50ml dose in my auto-doser with 800ml bottles since I just recently set that up with a new tank and am not yet super confident with its dosing accuracy. Also since its a new tank I know I'll be adjusting my ferts depending on what the tank needs so I'm ok that solution not lasting very long.

>But both micros and macros need to be dosed daily right - or can I switch off every other day doing micros and macros at a double dose?

I do EI method instead of PPS Pro so I can't really speak from experience here, but I can't imagine it would be a major issue to alternate.

Hi there, I saw your comment and felt the need to reply! I'll start by saying I don't know anything at all about phantom pain syndrome.

But what I do know is my mom had terrible, terrible neuropathy pain in her hands and legs from her chemotherapy that she had. She tried Lyrica, Gabapentin, and marijuana and none of those things helped at all. Even liquid morphine and dilaudid while she was in hospice care didn't help it. The tingling, itchy, fiery aching pain always broke through.

The one thing she finally found that worked was essential oils. Her pain went from a 8/10 to about a 2/10. It sounds like you're at the point where you're willing to try anything! I'm sorry. I can't imagine living in constant paint like that.

Here's what she used--marjoram, frankincense, basil, cypress, and that was all mixed with fractionated coconut oil. Applied with a roller ball as often as she felt like she needed it. Sometimes it was every half hour or sometimes it was every couple of hours.

I did some quick googling of "phantom pain syndrome essential oils" and there were lots of results. I encourage you to do the same!
I hope you have a good day. Take care.

if you grab a scale the lb-501 is probably the most popular, but people pick up the little dealer scales too. you just want to make sure it has .01 g accuracy and the ability to stay on without an auto-shutoff. people like to throw their VG and PG in condiment bottles you can get at the dollar store. transfer the nic into a brown glass bottle with an eyedropper, just use an old ejuice bottle you probably have laying around and leave it in the fridge, makes things a little easier. elr has tons of recipes and a good calculator plus lets you keep notes. defintely check out the other sub, people can even help you refine a recipe or help figure out clone recipes. here's a clip demoing by volume vs by weight, good luck man

They're just two oz sample bottles that people on reddit used to use for swapping samples (now against reddit TOS). Since whiskeys/brandies keep, I like to have samples of them so when I drink the rest of the bottle I have extras just in case. Especially some of the allocated stuff it makes sure I have a nice pour for a rainy day.

You buy propylene glycol and a bottle like this https://www.amazon.com/Amber-Glass-Bottles-Essential-Dropper/dp/B00STLP7AU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1488167343&sr=8-2&keywords=30ml+glass+bottle/ and mix it in there. The amount of etizolam you want to use is going to depend on the size of the dropper bottle. For example, 1 gram dissolved into 30mls of a pg solution would be 33.33 mg per milliliter. Hard to dose. You could do 300mgs into 30ml and get 10mg/ml which would be more even. To figure out how much you are dissolving just divide the mg's by the milliters you are dissolving it into. To measure the liquid just get a dropper or something that shows 0.1-1ml on it.

Don't know what all you have in the med kit but you might be able to shave some ounces going through it and combing stuff like the pills or taking some stuff out. Camp wash I had the same stuff put it into a smaller container, these ones worked perfect you can even get a plastic ones that are even lighter. A sitting pad works wonders, just plop it down where you want to sit helps keep your butt clean and warm. Also I use mine for changing socks and shoes. I made a custom one out of a 16 in x 25ft reflectix insulation roll cost was $15 for the roll but I have 23 ft left for whatever other uses or just a foam pad works but after many times hiking I prefer the reflectix lighter, thinner, warmer and cut what you need. Have fun on your adventure and stay safe and warm!

Volumetric dosing is the only way to go. I mix propylene glycol and 4ACO at a 1:1 ratio and make 30ml at a pop. Store in a small 30 ounce glass bottle with dropper top.

Kid! Stop being retarded.

| Dosage | Flubromazepam | Clonazolam |
|----|----|----|
| Threshold | 2 - 3 mg | 50 - 75 µg
| Light | 3 - 5 mg | 75 - 200 µg
| Common | 5 - 8 mg | 200 - 400 µg
| Strong | 8 - 12 mg | 500 - 1000 µg
| Heavy | 12 - 16 mg + | 1000 µg + (that's 1 mg!)

The dosages are wildly different for these two. You need to pay fucking attention and take care. If you don't you will in up in jail like your friend or in the hospital or a casket.

They last 10-12 hours at a single high dose.

You need to use volumetric dosing with everclear or vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol in a little dropper top glass bottle you can find at a health food store. You're headed for trouble.

Wake up!

These are what I use, and they worked for this product.

u/II3D · 1 pointr/CBD

CBD definitely reduced sebum production, and I look very clear atm. It wasn't even the effect I was looking for.

If you wanted to go the route of making your own from isolate, could do something like:

https://www.amazon.com/Glass-Amber-Bottles-glass-dropper/dp/B000AV16D4

https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-MCT-100-Oil/dp/B00KPZXER6

Isolate, cheapest atm are phytodabs or cbdistillery

u/mdkps · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

you could put it in a foam pump! like this.

u/lupCheong · 1 pointr/DIY_eJuice

I use these 59.1ml glass dripper bottles, it's a bitch to clean and sterilize the dropper but I only do it once when I need to mix my first recipe in one and don't bother cleaning when I have to mix the next batch.

u/ButterflySammy · 1 pointr/shrooms

Looks okay, no moisture on the walls so you could probably get away with a little more but I can see water spots on the foil, so it's not likely that dry. I'd never misst the cakes directly, but I do recommend misting over them and letting water fall on them, so they get a little moisture on them - enough to form the smallest possible droplets (hence needing a fine mister) but not enough for water to pool.

In case someone who isn't you is reading this and is looking for a spray bottle recommendation, I have one of these - https://www.amazon.com/Refillable-Trigger-Sprayer-Barbers-Dispenser/dp/B07C533XCW/ref=pd_cp_194_4? - it basically sprays small clouds.

u/lil_titty · 1 pointr/Dabs

Yup. Get this for the q-tips and then also get a "makeup dispenser pump" and fill it with "DarkCrystalGlass" cleaner. Press the q-tip on the pump and you're ready to clean your banger. Nice and neat.
