As an avid reader, these are some of the books I've enjoyed most; all are less than 500 long:

  1. The In the Company of Killers series by J.A. Redmerski. First book is Killing Sarai. The series are thrillers with some romance. They're pretty dark, but seriously awesome. I've been anxiously waiting for the latest installment for over a year.
  2. Brilliance by Marcus Sakey. It's the first in an alternate history sci-fi trilogy. Main character is a federal agent with special abilities.
  3. On Dublin Street by Samantha Young. This is an adult romance novel. I really liked the story, and the main characters are great. There are explicit scenes, but nothing is gratuitous.

Hey all,

I just released my first novel- Black & Blue!

It's a dark romance with some twists and suspense along the way. The plot centers around two main protagonists who fall in love despite coming from very different backgrounds- only to be ripped apart and forced to struggle for their freedom and even their own lives. If you like a good love story, but with a bit of a darker, more suspenseful plot line, then feel free to check out my book on Amazon:

$2.99 or free with Kindle Unlimited! Since I'm just navigating my way around this marketing business for the first time, I would sincerely appreciate any and all support. Thanks!

Best of luck to all other authors out there :)
