I’m a big boy. These running boards don’t budge when I get in or out. 1 1/2 years and still look new, even with our crappy winters.

Idk about the 18's but one of the first things I did was upgrade to the new wireless charger in my 17 so it would work with newer phones! lol

Mine came with a spray in bed liner from dealer so idk what to tell you about that one.

Also i swapped out my rancho stock shocks for Bilsteins 4600's asap they are a much better ride than the rancho's.

I got the 6” wide ones that go wheel to wheel (for bed access)

They are wide enough to protect the truck from cars opening their doors into me and that I can actually use them as a step (it’s really hard for me to climb in and out of my tundra with my short ass legs without it)

All aluminum with rubber mat the entire length of the step.

But on a serious note, from this angle a side step is much needed. On a 4 doors the 3 tubes type are more elegant than the one large diameter tube usually seen, but this is just my opinion. example

I had help from one friend but it took us maybe 30 minutes. I've had them for a few years and they are great!

I got these from Amazon 2 and a half years ago when I got my 2017. They look decent, they are cheap, the install was pretty easy, and they have held up well. I was in the same boat as you plus a short wife. The only downside with them I could say is that it took me a while to get used to them being there so I would snag my foot on them sometimes.

I prefer these steps

This is great feedback! According to my past experience, the weathertech bump step is the best protection for the bumper. Leaning towards this vs film.
