I had one of these for my holland lop and one time we were in the park and he wriggled our and started hopping away. If your rabbit is a more determined bunny, they can get out of it. I ended up getting these: https://www.amazon.com/PERSUPER-Harness-Running-Walking-Jogging/dp/B0716PPXQB/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=rabbit+harness&qid=1557638944&s=gateway&sr=8-5
And neither of my buns can get out of them. I do recommend getting a stretchier leash though.

If you don't have one of these, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O3IQW98/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DAwwDb7TK2WJ0, get one.

Provided you haven't done extensive free flight training with your cute little floorball there.

It's an aviator, petite/XXS. Probably the best there is, brilliant in it's simplicity, hard to break or get out.

Along with everyone else said, yes, buy one of these. For your clingy tiel, and all your tiels.

My local pet store actually sells them, check their first.

Just got it yesterday! It's pretty big for my 3 pound lop and she was scared to death as I put it on her but it's super cute!

u/NLothe · 3 pointsr/parrots

I bought it in Amazon, the brand that I like is The Aviator . It’s a very good brand.

u/SamusAran388 · 3 pointsr/parrots

I haven't personally tried this brand, but it's sold as a flight suit and a birdie diaper. I feel uncomfortable making my bird wear a diaper so I use the aviator harness.

You can make your own leash for cheap with crafting stuff from like Hobby Lobby. I didnt want to mess with making my own so I got this one from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G2CZWRA/ It works really well just make sure its not too tight around his neck. Mine hated the little ones that look like a vest that you put their arms through. There are lots of different ones you can get but I find the one I linked the easiest to put on and mine doesnt mind it.

As for what to watch out for outside be careful of dogs and cats trying to come up to you they could easily kill your beardie. Mine is terrified of airplanes we live near the airport so he gets skittish whenever one flies over head, they are scared of things above them like birds so he sees the airplane as just a really big bird that wants to eat him.

Getting him natural sunlight is a wonderful idea. I take mine outside almost everyday when the weather allows us. Dont let him out of your sight and always have a leash on him they can run very fast when scared. When you first take him outside take it slow he'll be scared just let him sit on you and take it all in. Mine doesnt like to move much outside he just likes to bask and watch people go by some like to explore. Just keep an eye out for other animals that could hurt him.

It's not rubber or silicone or whatever material the OP link is. It comes with an instructional video and is by and far the highest rated in terms of harnesses for fids.

And like with anything, you must take it slowly. Don't expect him to accept it right away, hell, there's a hole for his head! Any bird or person would freak out about shoving their head into a noose-thing from the get go. Here's a link on how to train your fid to accept the harness:

Suprisingly I found it on Amazon!! It is adorable.
I'll link it for you!! \^_____\^

The one I got is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0768LYHYT/

They run small, so make sure to check the measurements on the last bullet point of the item description. Bunny was only a few months old when I ordered it, and I had to get a Medium. It's a really nice harness but I'm looking to get something simpler/less bulky next so it's more comfortable for her.

u/reenajo · 2 pointsr/Rabbits

This pic is gorgeous!!! Her fur color against the snow, I can't even.

If I may leave a tip, if you take her out on the leash often, it would be a good idea to get her a harness on which the leash clips over her back instead of using a collar. It reduces risk a lot because bunny necks are especially fragile and collars on leashes can easily break them if something startles them and they try to bolt. This is a good example of a safe harness.

This harness is the only one that's worked for my tiny ferret. I have the neck at around 3" with plenty of room to tighten it further. She has yet to squeeze out of it after two months of use (and not for lack of trying!).

u/Eric578 · 2 pointsr/Rabbits

oops forgot the link, here ya go: http://amzn.com/B002GC6KOK

or go to amazon and search for rabbit harness

The aviator is a really good flight harness and comes with a CD to help with learning how to use it on your bird. I have it purchased and am working with my girl to get her used to it. You can find it on Amazon but probably other sites too

Edit: here is what I have and see recommended often https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TEXE0U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DC.QCb86S59NM

u/demonlordghirahim · 2 pointsr/parrots

it's an aviator harness which is much easier to put on than a flight suit

Kaytee Comfort Harness & Stretchy Leash, Medium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002ASBSG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Bli0Bb3XK1GB7

I have something more or less like this but you need to a size under, they then to be large.
I learned mine will wiggle and shimmy his way out of those pretty well but he takes to the full body harness well

u/jewski1 · 1 pointr/cats

No problem! I used one on my kitten until she was about 7 pounds and it worked just fine with her as she never really pulled much or tried to wriggle out of them. I just got a real cat harness for her the other day. This was pretty similar to the one I had, I think mine was from petsmart.

Look at these photos and carry on.
Usually a thin leather or sheet vinyl product.

If you want to use a figure eight style just look at this one.

I like to find some of the weirdest shit imaginable that I would still treasure. Also, some stuff for hobbies that some people might think is pretty weird if they don't know anything about the hobby. Or in other words...normal.

I don't remember exactly which one I bought but I think it was this one: Peter's Rabbit Walking Jacket, Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002GC6KOK/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Fuxyub0X3D11J
I had my little dude wear it every day for increasing amounts of time each day. He still doesn't particularly enjoy wearing it but I give him a treat for being a good participant :)

u/brionic76 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

You should buy this because holy crap, how cute is a rabbit on a leash??

Socks are in no way related to walking bunnies, but I still think these are cute.

And I'm guessing you had a waffle for breakfast.

Thanks for the contest, deputydawg

u/wildcarde815 · 1 pointr/parrots

We have a hans we just bought a harness for, I believe the extra small model of the 'aviator' harness is the one we got since she's dead center in the weight range for the harness. We have an XXS for our conure, unfortunately it's a bit too small so we may be getting a second XS for her if we can convince her to engage with the one we just received.

u/sepponearth · 1 pointr/Rabbits

I got it here. Pretty sure they sell the same one at Petsmart. The medium one should be good for a full-sized rabbit. Large is WAY too big unless you've got an abnormally-large rabbit.
