Asshats who post screenshots of facebook posts on reddit are a cancer upon this town. That being said, fuck racists, but all of the music in the background sounded terrible. Obviously anyone trying to play music there and anyone already in charge of music there should never be allowed to touch an audio amplification device of any sort. Just because you have music on vinyl doesn't mean it's good, case in point. Now for your listening pleasure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Olutn99y04

Thank you. The one thing I hoped that everyone would take out of my review is that I don't know how to spell the word saccharine. Here is a link to Duotones. Which I highly recommend. You should buy it quickly before the price goes up.

Stanley Jordan - Magic Touch

Up until that point, I had no idea how powerful an instrument the guitar could be, nor did I have any idea how wonderful Jazz was. It was a watershed moment in the development of my musical taste and education, without a doubt. It also happens to be one of the first CD's I ever bought as well. Even to this very day, after listening to it literally thousands of times, it still can send chills up my spine.

I ended up buying a guitar (the first of many) and proceeded to play every day. I've since given it up (I have zero talent) but my perception of 'music' and the power of stringed instruments was forever changed.

Yeah this is pretty much how I remember the Weather Channel when I was a kid.

They used to pair it with elevator music, and it became so popular that they put it on CDs.

Here's an actual broadcast. Very similar to what OP posted. 1980s broadasts were similar as well. I guess a lot of this stuff was a precursor to Vaporwave.
