It seems that they were on limited release in certain parts of the US.

We can get them on Amazon too along with ketchup chips apparently.

It seems that all dressed chips are a suicide combo of all of Frito Lay's chip flavors.

All Dressed Ruffles, look 'em up. Pure heaven.

Used this for the pepperoni.

I tried to get a good shot of the crust, but it was dark in the kitchen. Side crust pic.

Korean-style roasted seaweed, AKA nori. One package has about 1g carbs. They're good for a savory snack, sort of like an alternative to chips. Here are three kinds that I've tried, all tasty:

u/garmonbozia_ · 12 pointsr/xxfitness

Seaweed! I like this wasabi kind.

Also this popcorn from Publix. The box says it's 20 cal/cup of popped. I just top it with nutritional yeast or various spices (cayenne, ginger, garlic)

and pickles!

Kimchi is really great and low cal too. I make it myself, customizing various recipes I've found online to my taste. Yesterday I made 8 cups of it and I calculated the total to be ~800 calories total but it can definitely be made to be even lower cal.

Nice selection, I was deployed in Japan for five years just recently came back, I don't believe I've seen those candies around when I was there!

If you and your brother are close might I suggest you two start a competition of sending each other the most outrageous food and candy you both can find? It would give your brother a reason to explore and would help you send things you normally wouldn't send! You could send him something like Blair's Habanero chips and he could try to find Mountain Dew flavored potato chips I've seen before in Okinawa!

Respectfully,

Juunbugs

I got a box of the Death Rain Habanero Kettle chips and they light me on fire but so delicious, I even eat the crumbs in the bottom of the bag.

Usually takes a good 30 minutes for the mouth burn to stop, then the ass burn stops by noon the next day.

Of course. One day I ate a huge bag of this (i was the fat kid). I proceded to shit my brains out (in my pants). The smell was rancid. Our teacher made us put all of our lunches on one side of the room and had us stand on the other, to see if someone had something rotten. The look on her face when she realized the stench was coming from us was golden. The smell lingered into other classrooms on the floor so at this point, it was clear that no learning was going to happen until they solved this shitty mystery. Being the fat kid, everyone naturally looked at me first, so I had to think fast. We were all standing in the hallway at this point so I slipped into the bathroom to check the situation. It was like like someone had poured a huge pot of brown soup into my underwear. It was not the kind of shit that you could hide in your lunchbox. What I should have done was thrown my underwear out and ran to the nurses office. I was too deep in this now. I put my underwear and pants back on and slipped back into the hallway. When everyone started pointing fingers at me, I pointed at the next most logical choice for a pants-shitter, the extremely weird kid. There was about an hour left in the day and the smell was so putrid that they decided to bring us outside and gave us another recess. I kept my distance from everyone since there was still a ten foot shit aroma around me. The buses came, and luckily the weird kid who I'd been blaming was on my bus as well (smart pick, but I'm going to hell). So, I said, "see it was him!" and the majority of people latched on to that story. The other agreed with my older brother who was pointing at me, laughing and saying, "It was Dan! He shits himself all the time!" I got off the bus and took my backpack off. I don't know how this is physically possible but the shit had leaked all the way up the back of my white uniform shirt. I escaped the shituation with most people believing it was someone else. I had to beg my brother not to tell anyone. I haven't gone near pirates booty since.

TL;DR I ate too much Pirate's booty, had explosive diarrhea, they evacuated the school, I had shit all over my shirt.

What about some Gluten Free and vegan Gummy Bunnies? My mom always used to skip the candy all together and fill our baskets with little trinkets and things like nail polish (this is vegan and not tested on animals), and flower crowns and garden stuff. This enchanted garden is adorable.

Sorry, I strayed away from the candy theme. Lol. Hope some of this helps though. Good Luck shopping for your kiddo!

These bobbypins with pads would be helpful.

Thanks for the contest!

Vienna sausages? Or the jarred meatstick ones for toddlers? Potted meat? (All not my personal taste, but maybe ok in a pinch?)

I've noticed a lot of basic burrito wraps last forever in fridge, and stores have on shelves. I think the cheaper ones are loaded with preservatives, but could work if you check and swap out. Add some peanutbutter pouches, condiment pouches to make "ham salad", and he could have simple sandwiches.

Tasty Bite Indian meals are pretty decent, shelf stable, and soft. I've also seen shelf stable hummus, in little aseptic triangle shaped individual cartons, if he'd eat that.

Edited to add hummus: https://www.amazon.com/Wild-Garden-Hummus-Traditional-1-76/dp/B000V5IMSQ

GF PB crackers (just like Ritz Bitz) are super good, the cheese crackers are really good too!

I also like Lays Stax- but be careful, because Pringles are NOT GF.

One of my favorite snacks is jalapeño potato chips and Top the Tator- I'm from the midwest, so if you don't have Top the Tator than fuck you.

  • edit to add THESE are good too
u/reggae_muffin · 2 pointsr/keto
  • Veggies and dip: I buy ranch seasoning and mix it with sour cream and cream cheese to make my own dip. There's a ton of seasoning packets you can pick but my two favourite are probably ranch and French onion.
  • Deli meats and pickled or salted veggies. There's a ton of selection in deli meats, and they go great with stuff like dill pickles or olives or even stuff like kimchi or sauerkraut. I make 'antipasto' boxes for myself with a little bit of everything, they always come out pretty tasty.
  • Berries + cream
  • Low carb tortillas: use them for wraps or with some peanut butter, I use these pretty often.
  • Make your own trail mix with any variety of seeds and nuts, sugar free dark chocolate chips.
  • Beef jerky
  • Tinned tuna/chicken keeps really well and is great for making tuna or chicken salads. I like to eat them in lettuce boats, and load them up with diced celery or cucumber and mix up with seasonings and mayonnaise.
  • Kale chips or seaweed snacks

As a side note - look into getting yourself a crockpot. They're dorm friendly and you don't need to babysit them. There's a million recipes out there for slow cooker meals that are all very friendly. Plus, you can go to class and come back to a tasty meal.
u/nacho_cheezus · 2 pointsr/Wishlist

Slim Jim - Slim Jim was my first introduction to jerky and I absolutely loved it. Although I would not vote Slim Jim as the best jerky you can get I consider it a classic - hall of fame status if you will and that to me is awesome. Extra awesome points because it was Macho Man Randy Savage approved. OOH YEAH! DIG IT!

Shelf stable hummus! Not as good as fresh Hummus... but it is protein, and delicious. You can buy some avocados, tomatos, and grow sprouts(super easy). All of them don't need refrigeration. Make a mean veggie-head sandwich.

So my daughter is only 9 months old and I'm still going to do the whole easter thing with her even though she won't really understand what's happening. I'm not all about giving tons of candy to her so what I ended up doing was 1- stuffed animals and little toys that appropriate for her, and 2- I filled her easter eggs with little snacks she can eat and then coins to put in her piggy bank. Anyway- just a few suggestions that I thought might help.

Here are some possibilities for you. This seems really appropriate, but damn kind of expensive and I think these might work for you too Bunny fruit snacks. Good luck and thanks for the contest! Please just surprise me if I win! :)

I got some of these in a deal a few weeks ago, but didn't really care of them alone.

However, today, I was snacking on some pepperoni, and put a piece between two pieces of pepperoni, and bingo, instant yumminess. Just the right amount of heat, and you don't get that 'chewing on grass' feeling that you get eating them alone.

u/whoispaz · 1 pointr/pics

So obscure, wikipedia does not even have an article, but so awesome that apparently they're number 1 in the crisps category on Amazon (chips for the americans)

u/Valan_Luca · 1 pointr/Cooking

I usually just use hormel on my pizza at home but when I really want good pepperoni I order this, the natural casing helps get that cup and char around the edges so you get wonderful little grease pillows on top of your pizza.

u/Rub3X · 1 pointr/Buttcoin

I just got this off Amazon, came in yesterday. It'll be interesting to see all the libertarians squirm as the big bad gument gets involved in their butts. I for one can't wait, simply because it'll add legitimacy to bitcoin's dismal reputation. If the government starts regulating it, SEC approves the ETF, it will add a layer of legitimacy to bitcoin. Right now if you asked people about bitcoin they'd say Mt Gox and drugs.

u/ShrinkingElaine · 1 pointr/90daysgoal

u/subarutim · 1 pointr/Charcuterie

This is the brand I purchase at my local Asian market, if you want to try some to compare with yours. Looks great!

u/cryptoreporter · 1 pointr/Pizza

Buying pepperoni can be tricky. Normally we'll just grab whatever pack is at the grocery market. Luckily for me I have an Italian market near me and they make their own pepperoni. Its my go to choice as its better than the name brands like Hormel. But there are other options such as buying pepperoni from Amazon.
Check it out! I have listed these from best rating to worst rating and there are some more than these on Amazon if you look at a specific pepperoni and then under the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" or "Sponsored Products", but Ive tried to list the most popular ones. Put the pepperoni on your holiday wish list!

u/onetrueatom · 1 pointr/castiron

Hmmm this is hard since I kind of eyeball it usually but I'll try to give it to you.

I use:

2 of these sausages which can be found sold as one pack for like 4 bucks at the closest Asian/International market.

3-4 spring onions

3 eggs

I'm having a hard time finding the soy sauce I use and I can only describe the bottle as best as I can since I'm not at home. It's a square bottle with a green and yellow label, but season the rice to taste with however much of your favorite soy sauce.

~3 cups of rice (your preference) (always use kind of dry old rice, never new rice, it's too soggy if you use new rice and doesn't separate when you fry it.)

~4 bacon strips of your preference to flavor.

Cooking oil.

Directions:

  1. Cut sausages in half going down the middle long ways so you'll have two semi-circles and then I cut into desired length, maybe half a centimeter lengths. Producing half centimeter semi-circle sausage bites.

  2. Beat eggs and heat up skillet.

  3. When pan is nice and toasty make your bacon strips or you can cut bacon into slices and put them in there, then proceed to let bacon sit and oil drip away.

  4. Pour out majority of the bacon grease and use it to cook the sausage bites until a little crispy and set it with the bacon.

  5. Cut spring onions into desired size, mines were about half a centimeter still, and heat the pan again.

  6. When pan is hot and you make your scrambled eggs and try to brown the outside of the scrambled egg, put it on a cutting board and cut to desired egg bite sizes, mines is normally about thumb sized or smaller so you can taste the egg when you eat it.

  7. A little cooking oil in a hot pan and put your rice, and brown the rice with soy sauce.

  8. Add the other ingredients (eggs, bacon bits, spring onions, sausage) and mix together.

  9. Add more soy sauce to taste if you would like.

  10. Enjoy

Apologies for the "preference" to everything lol, and poor formatting. Hopefully it goes well for you if you try to make it.
