Triscuits - bring on the downvotes but ever since I made 'the switch' the two things I miss most are salty and crunchy foods. Triscuits are pretty much the closest thing I can get to appease those crunchy-salty cravings without returning to the darkside. I also am a big fan of unsalted/unbuttered popcorn as it is really filling, basically air, and loaded with fiber! I also habitually snack on this 'healthy trailmix' which is all the basic (unsalted) nuts but they replace the M+M's with yogurt chips and dried fruits. Probably not the best for you but at least it's a step in the right direction.
Any other crunchy/salty recommendations welcome!
First trip to Costco in Japan and they didn’t have the Kirkland trail mix. Was certain they’d carry it. :(
Claire you're mental, check out Abe's Market for healthy treats! They have a side bar where you can select any health restrictions. Honestly, you could shop here and then check for the same items on Amazon since Abe's can be a little pricey.

Hi. This is a really nice offer. Whether I get to participate or not, thank you for doing this. My husband died. I have profound medical issues and I am too sick to work. Not yet on disability/SSI. I have no income and often struggle for food, so this would be immensely helpful. :)

I see, Well I cant say I would never eat those things, I would but ones in a blue moon. When I eat a Twix, yea it tastes good, but after I am done this tought goes into my mind what the hell did I just eat. I look at the back how much sugar I just had and I get this disgusting feeling as in I just ate shit. I know coca cola puts some ingredients into coke to suppress you gag reflex due to the amount of sugar the drink contains.

I personally try to minimize my processed sugar in take, even that brown sugar crap it is the same thing. I started by not drinking tea with sugar, the first week the tea tasted like dirt, but after that it tastes normal. Now if you put half a spoon of suggar in my tea it is really too sweat for me, it is as if I am drinking sugar water. Give it a shot maybe.
