Definitely get an Ariens. Did a bunch of research before I bought mine. The common theme was that you buy Ariens when you want something that will do the job, and last.

And get a heavy duty one. Our snow being wet is rough on snowblowers. Look to spend around $1000 to $1200. And buy some silicone or teflon spray (like DuPont or SNO-Jet) while youre at it.

Good idea...i have a craftsman 247.881731 snowblower and the closest i can find is this one from amazon, but it doesn't say model number, just craftsman. Do you think this will fit?
