Foldable Backpack

For the time being you can use the coupon code JW6BIZJX to get $5 off it. Only on the dark green color (looks aqua/teal/blue-green in the picture). I just bought it when I saw the deal on /r/DealsReddit.

How many external compartments are you looking for?
Here are some I found that fit your description:

That's around what I carry as well. Depending on how much you are looking to spend there are a lot of options.

If your cards keep bending maybe look at something with vertical slots.

On the cheap end, check out Big Skinny wallets - they have some wallets that are leather on the outside and nylon on the inside. They carry very slim but are rather roomy.

I carried this exact wallet for about a year. Held up well. There are other options though.

There's also Saddleback which a lot of people around here seem to like. The quality is good from what I have heard. A bit more pricey.

Bellroy also makes some nice slim wallets. A bit pricey for me though.

I currently carry one of these: Levart card holders. I like it a lot, but I've been looking at these Gun Deck wallets, as well.

Here's another thread with a lot of wallet recommendations from a while back. If you want to take a look there. I am aware of a lot of leather options, but check here for something a bit different. You can search for "wallet" in this sub and find some similar threads.

I like the rothco bags you can get on amazon.

They're cheap, and unlike the HF "voyager" bags they are pretty well made, cotton canvas with thick zippers. I much prefer cotton, way more durable than the thin nylon and won't separate at the seams. I've been using this one for my work tools for ages and it's not ripped at all. Plus you can throw them in the wash to clean them.

This is great! I absolutely love mine.

So this isn't allowed, but if it had a single strap it would be fine. Got it.

The website OP linked is just an Amazon referral blog. No real content there - just a front to make a cent from copy/pasted content.
I would not trust anything on that website ever, that blogger has never tried on this backpack - I guarantee it. They just find 'popular' items on Amazon and make a page for it on their blog with a referral link embedded ('linkCode' path param in the bit.ly link).

The reviews on Amazon may be valuable.

I like to be able to carry some supplies, but the bag is small enough to take on rides without an issue. This time, my wife and I will be taking our 2 year old, which means more supplies and I'm bringing a GoPro to document the highlights. Of course, she'll probably bring along her Kavu bag to carry some stuff as well.

Most sling bags I've ran across are either too big, ugly as hell, or girly.

Under Armour makes [this](Under Armour Compel Sling 2.0 Backpack, Black/Black, One Size https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016C9Z92G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_siMxzbZE89Y50) bag, which looks great but I'm worried it's too big. Idk.

My original bag (as shown in the pics) is ok. But it is pretty small, not to mention that it doesn't fit snugly (it flops no matter how you adjust it), and it's not all that attractive (looks awkward in pics).

Ideas?

I use a Big Skinny wallet - similar to this.

I have 18 cards in it, including license, commuter card, etc.

I have this Columbia Security wallet because I travel a lot, and I don't like carrying big bags. This carries all of my credit cards and ID, as well as some cash. I can put it in my pocket, a small crossbody, or anywhere! I love it.

If you want a thin wallet above all else, I'd recommend the Big Skinny models. They have a variety of different sizes, and their claim to fame is their thin nylon material, and card placement designs. I use a Big Skinny Open Sided Mini Skinny, which is pretty small but has a leather face, and easy access to the 2 main pockets.

They're not the most attractive, but they're pretty cheap and hold up well. The leather is a really thin top grain, so it gets scratched up easily but looks alright.

You can buy deodorisers that will keep shoes fresh and dry, you could keep them in a gym bag.

I use one close to [this] (https://www.amazon.ca/Under-Armour-Undeniable-Backpack-Stealth/dp/B016R939GY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486478576&sr=8-1&keywords=gym+backpack) I like that it has a few compartments to hold all of my stuff and it is comfortable to wear.

I got this for my husband at the beginning of the summer because he got season passes for he and my daughter to a water park.
It's waterproof but one side is mesh so it airs out and doesn't trap moisture. It also has a waterproof pocket for things like your phone and keys and the bottom zips open for an insulated compartment. We both used it all summer and it is very durable.

Hope this helps!

I got one of these as a gift a couple of years ago (mine's purple). The cell phone charger is basically trash, but it will hold my phone, all my cards, some cash, and I clip my keychain to one of the loops that the strap attaches to. It comes with a long strap for crossbody wear and a short strap to make it a clutch or wristlet. The only signs of wear it has after a year or so of use is the clips on the straps have tarnished a little.

You can get a normal gym bag like this, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JU0CS96/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Zx5jzbK8NGTVJ. And just buy a padded laptop sleeve to key it safe

u/coldapril · 1 pointr/bangtan

i think they mean any size backpack? i bought this bag and i can fit my army bomb, a water bottle, sunscreen, my phone, and my wallet in it. probably more if needed as well, depending on what you're gonna bring. :)

I bought an Under Armour sling backpack for walking around the city, and it's been on of the best bags I've had. It holds quite a bit and is comfortable.

That and a light jacket...those are the 2 things I tell friends who are visiting SF to bring with them.
