And I've owned one of those stools. You could dance on it. That looks like about a 15 gallon tank, which is 120lbs, maybe 130 with the tank itself.

I couldn't find the exact one, but this is rated at 330lbs each.

So you've got maybe 150lbs sitting on something rated for ~660lbs.

We use this one in our kitchen.

Like you said, 10 inches probably isn't high enough to feel anything. A bench isn't your only option; you could get a sturdy folding chair or a taller stool like [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-RM-P2-Non-Slip-300-Pound-Capacity/dp/B004Q0I2RS/ref=sr_1_cc_4?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1452833651&sr=1-4-catcorr&keywords=step+stool). If you don't want to invest in something like that then you can always look in the index for other exercises to substitute.

We have little LED lights inside low cupboards that make it easier for him to see things, while I have a collapsible step stool that fits perfectly between the fridge and the cabinets so it's not in the way.

Find an area in front of one of the speaker stacks or sound-booth so you're protected when the crowd moves and wont get knocked over and bring one of these. You'll have a great view, plus it's a good spot to have anyway.

I've seen photogs with fold flat step stools bungeed to their bags. Not the same reach as a step ladder but very portable.

> (which is why adjustable-height observing chairs are sold, but I haven't justified the cost yet).

For some reason, there is not one $20 ironing chair in the entire US :-)

Slightly off-topic, has anyone tried one of these for the AWB/Heritage/z130/mini130? Too wobbly?

The Ikea Bekväm is rock-solid, still more compact than my EQ2, great to observe with on my fishing stool, but I am still looking for something back-packable.

I use this from Amazon. Its advantage because it can fold away to an inch thick. Unlike the one you mentioned which would just be in the way for someone not wanting to use it.

For all your short people needs, here is a fabulous stepstool for only $13. No more jumping to try and reach things. No more asking your tall friends to come over and bring something down for you. No more climbing haphazardly unstable furniture. This stepstool will provide a stable, comfortable, height advantage to make all your needs come true. And lucky 13 a number worth more than leprechaun gold!

I could use some training pants for my son, or a step stool for his potty training. The sooner he's potty trained the sooner we can stop buying diapers :P

2nd this! My friend had one and just clipped it onto her backpack and carried it around: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H3MOVXU/ref=twister_B00H3MOVW6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

My feet were so swollen a couple weeks ago. I've been propping my feet up on this foot stool at work, which helps. I figure it will double as a step stool to help Young Madam reach the sink or kitchen counter when the time comes.

Pokemon Go has also got me walking more (~10k steps/day), and I've been drinking about 70 ounces of water daily. With their powers combined my ankles have gone down from major cankles to ever so slightly puffy.

My kid is the same age, and we’ve been using our regular adult stepstool with no issues.

We have a smaller toddler one for brushing his teeth and washing his hands (he’s kind of tall), but use the adult stepstool for baking and the big kitchen sink.
